As has been said, must have been totally weird doing that love scene together; probably even weirder than doing the scene with a 'stranger' as I bet they just wanted to stop filming and do it for real. Lol. (Hell, for that matter I bet anyone doing a love scene with Simone must feel like that!)
I would have loved for him to have done a US Soap Opera like Days Of Our Lives where he could have played a Crony of Vivian Alamain's. She always seems to get "Foreign" guys to do her dirty work for her, not that there's anything wrong with that but most of the people in Salem thinks she's crazy and she is.
This is really good - I cant help but cry whenever the low key lighting comes on after hes been knocked down by a car and you have that shot of the family. Amazing!
@chanchaz1 The tattoo on his ass, as you say, is Latin and is usually translated as ''pluck/seize the day''. ;-) It's from one of Horace's odes encouraging people to live for and enjoy the moment, instead of putting all of their faith in what tomorrow may bring.

Crystal Chappell & Jessica Leccia on Venice (Formerly Of Guiding Light Fame) as well as their Former Co-Stars (Lawrence St. Victor & Karla Mosley) on their Show Wedlocked, as well as Actors from a New Show called Gotham.
@Booners93 I'm not sure if anyone answered this for you already, but the song at the beginning of the film is ''Love and Some Verses'' by Iron and Wine. I thought it was a great choice of music for this film.
I thought it was kinda weird at the beginning but I really liked it. It just sort of clicked and made total sense. I thought it was really well done and so sad. I wanna know what she does. Thanks for posting
What's with all the thumbs down people...jeez. Film depicts true to life emotional connection and passion that two old lovers had when they meet again. Happens so often. Dying part was kinda tragic but it was funny to see a guy trying to figure out just the right clothes to wear for the meeting.
I can see why this film won the awards that it did. Congratulations! So well done! Seamless intensity, from the acting to the music, to the filming. I think I did start breathing again at the end. Thanks for posting it.

I don't think it's lipstick. It's all the blood rushing to her lips. LOL......Wouldn't your lips be red if that cutie was kissing you?
Wonder if the love scene was edited out of sequence to added the feeling of urgency? Also in the middle of the bathroom scene flowers appear to be added to the mirror.

Just one small comment. During the bathroom scene it appears that Simone has on red lipstick, but she doesn't have that one when she enters the coffeee shop, (is that added for effect)?

Wonderful Job. It is great to see Both Simone and Raff working together. They feed off one another so well. I also agree that she does look alot like she did when she played Helen Stewart.

Very Well Done! The movie accomplished a lot of emotion and real feelings in a few minutes. It is good to see Simone and her husband, Raff, act together.
