oldschool kicker Competitions were good subs. 15 yrs ago, friend had two 15" comps in a chevette, right behind his head, powered by a single Punch 45 that actually pushed them. Amp would cut out past medium volume but could hear it a good block away...not bad for a little punch 45. But comps used to be really good subs. now they are just ok for a cheapo.
I say fuck kicker and mtx.Some kid was trying to tell me about the jackoff hammer.I told him to go look up the Atomic apxx18 and shove that jackhammer up his ass!
@aKILLAfromAPK Well, I dont have any experience with Kicker amps. I made a move to Rockford amps and now Im not sure I want to buy anything but RF in terms of amplifiers. My T500 puts out an insane amount of power for its size without phasing my electrical system at all and sounding really good. Best amp Iv ever heard for the price and size.
Lightning Audio is always a good alternative if you don't want to spend a lot of money. They are made by the same people as Rockford Fosgate. Same power and reliability, but for a fraction of the price.
i've owned many types of amps like pioneer, sony, mtx, alpine, rockford fosgate and i'd say Fosgate, is clearly better in every way . rms for rms rockford is always more powerful

oldschool kicker Competitions were good subs. 15 yrs ago, friend had two 15" comps in a chevette, right behind his head, powered by a single Punch 45 that actually pushed them. Amp would cut out past medium volume but could hear it a good block away...not bad for a little punch 45. But comps used to be really good subs. now they are just ok for a cheapo.

@aKILLAfromAPK Well, I dont have any experience with Kicker amps. I made a move to Rockford amps and now Im not sure I want to buy anything but RF in terms of amplifiers. My T500 puts out an insane amount of power for its size without phasing my electrical system at all and sounding really good. Best amp Iv ever heard for the price and size.

Lightning Audio is always a good alternative if you don't want to spend a lot of money. They are made by the same people as Rockford Fosgate. Same power and reliability, but for a fraction of the price.

i've owned many types of amps like pioneer, sony, mtx, alpine, rockford fosgate and i'd say Fosgate, is clearly better in every way . rms for rms rockford is always more powerful

I got 2 t55 mtx 12" with a Jensen 1050 mono block amp
and i got to say is "DAYUM"
in my explorer sport it moves alot of air and is a good solid system if hooked up right
