a lot of the "mermaids" in this are the dead upper torso of a monkey fused into the lower end of a dead fish, taxidermied and perserved. the white mermaid with the very unattractive mouth, being interveiwed by the reporter is most deffinetely a sculpture. the sculpter even admited to it publicly, but the interveiw, (which, hmmm, took place on april first) isnt well known, because face it, a real mermaid is more interesting. anything is possible, just not probable.

i research a lot about this creature's because i do believe there is a real mermaid but the last vid! preview i think it is real and i watch the other vid of this mermaid, and i look carefully and compared to other fake mermaid's 1: thin tail not obviously fake 2: no bubbles for air release 3:fast swimmer 4: fish not scared they just look 5: a thin legs. but the things that i'm curious about is the hair? or is it a male or female?? :)

Swimmers can hold their breath much longer than three seconds. 3: Again, athlete. 4: If the fish are in a tank, and have nowhere to go, they dont spook? Sure these may be sculptures. But the question is.. How would people know what a mermaid looks like? In my opinion, I believe it to be true. Someone or people, that are either dead or still alive today, might have actually seen a mermaid through their eyes. You can't just draw something, give it a name, and spread it around. Someone, that's dead or still alive, has had to have seen it.
