No one is going to make me believe Eddie isn't clever! I've seen worse acting in a LOT of humans! My favorite Eddie Moment is in 'Daphne's Room,' near the end, when because of Niles. all three men end up wreaking havoc in Daphne's room, and she comes in and finds even Eddie invading her privacy, sitting there with her bra in his mouth! Eddie's a star!

I tried the intelligence test with my two dogs: the Jack Russell lasted about two seconds before shaking off the towel. The Golden Retriever just sat there, like Eddie, with it draped over her head, as still as a statue :( It was so embarrassing.

My dog - mixed retriever and who knows what - likes to have a blanket thrown over him when one family member is out of the room. He thinks the person can't see him, and he lies there absolutely still (controlling even his tail-wagging) while s/he says, 'Where is he? Where can he be?' He plays possum until s/he says, 'I give up!' and sits down next to him, and then he pops up wagging his tail, thoroughly pleased with himself for 'fooling' someone. And he's a dumb old dog!
