  • aww i hope i am not going to be affected

  • Is that really so surprising? Tuberculosis is understood and accepted as a virus. Tuberculosis Tuberculosis Tuberculosis, Going on and on about it won't make it go away. Swine flu, on the other hand, had just swept through the world in a matter of days. No one was quite sure what would happen and the potential for Apocalypse has been a favorite human talking point since time immemorial; and Media's is an industry of talking. Hypothesis: Do the comparison now and there won't be such a disparity.

  • Tell people something long enough, and it *becomes* truth. The key word is *becomes*.

  • There are misses in this. Not at the same year did these diseases break out, therefore I believe that we have 250 000 more media-reporting-companies now then back when tuberculosis was at it's peak. You have to see how many of all media that reported and not how many reports there are/were. Back in the days there weren't many different papers but lots more people read the only ones available. -> I do agree with you on the matter though, the media today is quite terrible.

  • You seem to miss the facts that

    1) this was a take on the media coverage

    2) This was posted back in May in the very very early stages of the new flu.

Ignorance? Ignorance of what? This is statistics that should make you see the bigger picture.

  • Thanks for the video contribution - great stuff!! All the BigPharma bosses should get their first injections of the Hfuck1N1 vaccines into their anal glands and the syringe stuck up their ass. I don't want to end up like a Kenntucky Fucking Chicken.

Greetings to all truth seekers and preventors of global brainwashing.

    Cheers.

  • Hahah Sveng-elska

  • ok now people dont get a vaccine. dont let your loved ones get a vaccine. inform people as much as you can, tell them to do their own research just so they can see/read for themselves.

  • He doesn't say that you shouldn't get the vaccin. I think it's good that there is a vaccin for swine flu. But the media hype of the disease is way out of propotion. That's what the clip is about.

  • Dont take the Shot or mist! It has Mercury and saraquil in it!!!

  • Squalene - the water-oil booster that caused the Gulfsyndrome.

  • "911truthseekers" just so you know, and for everyone else, the % of Mercury in this vacc. is more than the % that you get by eating fishes for 4 months, twice a weak! go read before you write stuff you just hear from someone and then sprea it all over the place! Thank you!

  • whatever u want to see, i dont give a fuck, see what u want!

  • @robzombiexx9

The % of mercury in fish wouldn't change with how much fish you are talking about.

So do you mean % or do you mean amount?

  • The reason H1N1 is reported on a lot is that it is emerging. The reason that TB is not is because its the same as it was roughly a year ago.

    News reports change, not relevance.

  • Also - Take a look at the geographical locations of these conditions and which countries they pose a threat to....

The "west" cares about tubercolosis.... yeah right

  • swine flu can kill 'perfectly rich healthy people' but whos to say they didnt already have something like tuberculosis and then when caught swine flu, they died? i no a few people who've had swine flu and said it was just like normal flu, in bed for about 5 days then fine, so as the video shows, its just the media hyping it up

  • Actually you're wrong. Most cases of swinflue is not as bad as normal flu, the symptoms are not as bad as all. I'm pretty happy i got hit by the swinflu instead of regular flu to be honest.

  • Yes, there is indeed a media hype over this "apparent" outbreak of swine flu. Don't get your shots people. United under Truth the people will defeat the NWO.

  • So much hype over the swine flu that my wifes job made it mandatory to get the vaccines when they come out. My wife told them she wasn't going to get it. Lucky for her, corporate loves her.

  • An absolutely amazing response to the Swine flu 'epidemic'. This is so true!

  • very proffessional resheach

  • Copy and paste this!

*** I have never had a Flu shot, and I won't have this one either! ****

  • Wille we be mandated to take the potentially lethal H1N1 swine Flu vaccines w/ Squalene?

Laws are in place & being put in place.

See my page for critical related information.

See my to see who may stand to profit from the vaccines.

Also see "Oath Keepers" & help grow their group ASAP!

Help get the word out! Thanks.

  • The Swine Flu *pandemic* in the 1970's was fake.

This one will be as well.

Vitamin D and common sense hygiene are the true vaccine for the flu.

  • Another informative video.

It baffles me that people keep focusing on his accent. Who cares! His enunciation and pronunciation are excellent, and his intelligent dispensation of information far surpasses any dialectical variation.

He sounds far better speaking English than I would speaking Swedish.

  • Most of the people who die from tuberculosis are poor. Swine flu on the other side has a potential to kill perfectly healthy rich people. I think that makes the difference in reporting. Media allways side with the rich.

  • Remember Agent Smith telling us that we're all a disease! And now we have competition & we're pissed coz we only want to be Number 1 baby!

  • A recent internal CDC briefing noted, "20,000 people die from novel 2009-H1N1 and everybody wants to wear a mask. 9 million people die from AIDS and no one wants to wear a condom."

  • Yea he is correct...u do have to wonder why the media is focusing on the swine flu...like its the end of the world...and yet there is no mention about TB...Over here in the UK ..TB is rising and has been for a while.... In the UK they use to give all school kids BCG vaccinations...but they stoped doing that since 2005..even though TB was rising and still is.....

  • If you want to know about this guys accent. Its swedish.. I know cos im Swedish myself and that guy is Swedish all the way!!! Typical accent......... I dont have that accent though...

  • I agree completely and am fortunately not having that accent myself either.

  • add 12 more cause my girlfriend died :(.. R.I.P alice everone say R.IP alice shes 13

  • RIP Alice.

  • Did she have other illnesses? Was it the swine flu alone that killed her?

  • Very informative and actually quite a revelation and interesting. Thank you.

  • awesome analysis. thank you.

  • Bravo! I commend your work!

  • Nice work. keep it up. mean time come for social media marketing for esteembpo**com

  • Swine flu is nothing there are 21,000 people with swine flu and 117 have died, And between the date I wrote this and april 26th (outbreak day) 59,009 have had seasonal flu and 844 have died so there you go!

  • I think Hans' report misses the point.

The Spanish Influenza in 1918 killed 100 million people taking into account 28 percent less the population back then, would kill 325 million today.

That's why the Swine Flu's second wave is such a worry!

  • You're discounting all the advances made over the last 100 years in medicine (vaccines, intensive care), our ability to respond (paved roads and motorized ambulances) and public hygiene the world over (hand washing).

Screaming bloody murder every time a person dies of flu is misleading and unhelpful. A simple "wash your hands" message would save more lives.

  • You're right washing hands etc is crucial.

I didn't mean to be alarmist and I certainly hope it won't develop into a deadly wave.

I recently watched on youtube John M Barry interview re his book on 'The Great Influenza' and it really shocked me into reality. Please watch it if you have time and see what you think. Thanks

  • My 5 year old nephew was diagnosed with Swine Flu in Japan. He's had the condition for 2 days now and ranges from normal temperatures up to 41 centigrade.

I really hope he will be O.K...

  • Of course! H1N1 is highly contagious, as any flu, but its mortality is barely 1-3%.

press won't ever show this fact... they just want to sell by saying "the deadly virus".

  • Turned out now the mortality is around 0.018%

  • Very good video.

Malaria would also make a good comparison, perhaps?

  • I'm well informed but I'm not sure which scares me more. TB continues to evolve due to poor treatment in to Extremely drug resistant forms that cost $200,000 to treat, but you still have a 50% chance of death.

The reason the Swine Flu is scary is because it looked like it kills young healthy people fastest, like the WW1 virus, and has the potential to spread very fast.

Hans is right that the press should cover TB much more than it does!

  • Befriande och upplysande, samtidigt lite sorgligt, när du sätter saker och ting i rätt perspektiv. Tack.

  • I still do not want swine flu.

  • In 8 months, there will probably be about one million more dead in tuberculosis. Will one million have died in Swine Flu? My money is on no. If I'm correct, will the world then assign as much attention and resources to tuberculosis, or malaria for that matter, as they have Swine flu? My money is on no.

  • And that's because most tubercolusis deaths happens in Africa, which for everyone is just a void in the map. Maybe a good complementary statistic would be "Tv sets per cápita" among these other factors.

  • exactly, most TB in africa or india, swine flu is a direct threat to the third world. and again, you are missing the point that if SF goes to a pandemic on a hard strain, deaths may dwarf TB.

  • what about malarya?

  • Precis vad jag har varit upprörd över den senaste tiden! Tack för den ypperliga komentaren och de upplysande siffrorna. Hur kommer jag i kontakt med Hans Rosling om mina ideer hur sprida relevanta "nyheter"?

  • hans is the man

  • oh geez, what happens if they now put a touch of tuberculosis in the swine flu, then it will be a flu with 2 human viruses, 1 pig virus, 1 bird virus, and a special tuberculosis virus. Oh geez, now the earth is going down, oh geez....

  • Comment removed

  • Is it hyped up? Maybe... But something to keep in note:

The 1918 Spanish flu epidemic killed 50-100 million people worldwide, and it started out just like this Swine Flu has.

Of course the media's primary incentive is revenue, so hyping up stories such as the swine flu is in their interests. But, don't forget history: many virologists say it is only a matter of time before we get our next global epidemic. At least with flu, history has a tendency to repeat itself unless we are careful.

  • What did you mean 'back in those days' - the TB data is from the same period of time.

  • 1900's. My belief among other, that the reason SF killed so many back then, compared to what is likely to happen now, is because we have better medical care.

  • What do you mean? "SF killed so many back then"?

...and there is no comparison with the "1900's" in the video. These are all *today's* figures.

  • Chemtrails. Seriously. I'm not even gonna argue with a nutter who doesnt understand basic science principles.

  • I was more talking about the Spanish Flu he referenced from 1918...we had less levels of control and such on people moving between areas, as well as a lack of understanding the characteristics of viruses, and how they spread.

  • that is GENIUS! thanks for yet more valuable information

  • Good video. I would like to confirm the TB numbers. I went to WHO page, but latest stats I find are for 2007. Can you direct us to the exact page on WHO where I can get the TB #s for 2009?

  • Thanks a lot for your comments. Our estimation of TB deaths is based on the mortality data from WHO 2007 stats, which is the latest available data source for world TB (published by WHO 6 weeks ago).

  • Covered just about all the points. Good video.

  • wow, eye opening about tb stats. this vid is going in my faves. thanks hans.

  • Interesting video. Thanks for the info. Puts things into perspective.

  • Yah, and 120,000 people died in the United States alone in January from the REGULAR FLU.. THE REGULAR FLU... THE REGULAR FLU...

  • TB doesn't have the potential of spreading and killing upwards of 50,000,000. That's why Swine Flu is so serious. It's not to say that TB isn't serious, but it's not likely going to become a global pandemic capable of killing millions in only a few months.

  • Very good analysis! Thank you for this report.
