This makes me sick I can't believe people do shit like this i also watched another video today and believe me it is truly horrific so why don't we turn Vegan? this can't keep happening.
I belive in hunting for food at least the animal has a life before it is killed and the person who hunts it isn't a hipocrite but any form of life should not be treated like this it just plain immorale.
Was the pig ever very nice to another man? It seems like it may have been a very nice pig, swine, as maybe it would occasionally give gifts to nurses or make appropriate phone calls on his best friend's birthday, or maybe the pig let an old woman have his seat on the bus one day, or maybe been very nice to others? If so, the pig was some sort of local hero who gave clothes to local starving children? The pig may have been nice even to one man, or woman, maybe by lighting a candle?
People are unaware, uneducated about the how their food is produced. It's easier than being informed and caring about something beside themselves. There's no moral justification for the cruelty to animals on factory farms, it occurs because people are all about making things easier and efficient for themselves, who cares about the suffering of other beings when life is all about looking after selfish interests right? humanity has a LONG way to go before we can say we are really evolved.
should also investigate illegal hunting of whales in the seas of Australia made by japonenses only environmentalists shepherd is launched on the sea ice, risking their lives to stop these barbaric Japanese kill indiscriminately and in the most cruel to these amazing animals, do something for these whales, too.
instead of killing them, why dont they just raise them and when they die thats when they can now turn them to meat. i mean really give these animals good health living.
every year.now aboriginal land is dying.so aussies want to invade and emigrate to antarctica.a lot of resources in there.those shamelss racists have destroyed
aboriginal land in only 200 years.
animal slaughter = australian history and main industry
if people suffered the same as them animals, can u imaigine how it would be on the news??? sometimes I feel like my pets are neglected, simply because they havent had a cuddle.... Im sure all them factory farmed animals/birds would rather swap places .... poor poor animals, anyone that buys that meat eggs etc, just imagine is it was you kept in them conditions
first of all, we are not lions!! second, you can find protein in other food sources such as beans, milk, nuts, etc... also, scientific research shows people who eat red meat have a greater chance of getting cancer.
@treeman2007 do I fucking care? Red meat will always taste better. Yes people should know how their found is prepared, raised, ect. but if the person doesn't mind they should be able to eat meat.
@Hakidia So by your logic, if we dont mind if a cow is raised in a typical factory farm its fine to eat and accept it that way ??? Just wondering if this is what your saying
hey small brain prisoners, stop it stop animal abuse hey stink gorillas stop it stop animal massacre hey aborin killers show us the dugon massacre video show us the dingo massacre video show us the shark massacre video show us the animal shooting video
What surprized me was when I visited Australia, and went to the store. All eggs were just on a shelf not kept cool like we do here in Wisconsin USA. Is this what all stores do there?
i ve got a question... is it cruel to eat another animal? if it is, then we should just become vegetarians right? if it isnt, then how else can you treat animals that are raised to be eaten?
@soapywater Animals raised for food should be raised in a situation that does not elicit any fear or unnecessary suffering. They should be free to roam and display their natural behaviours (i.e. dustbaths, cooling in mud etc). At the time of slaughter, the animal should be rendered unconscious out of view of any others as this will cause distress and fear amongst them.
I personally do not believe that it is ethical to eat another being for food, but it should be humane if it is to happen.
While I know this happens all around the world, I'm appalled that its still so prominent in my home country. Here I was thinking Australia was one of the worlds for-runners.
With free range you have to be careful because often the company that offers them, can also be a large producer of cage eggs. You should also be wary of some companies the RSPCA endorse. Also, it's tough to determine what *exactly* they mean by free range. Free range for an hour? Free range outside, all the time? Check out ecoeggs if you're in Sydney, and visit egg websites also =)
Also, even free range eggs are tied directly to animal cruelty. Free range farms source their chicks from the same breeder farms as cage and battery producers, the conditions in which the breeding hens are kept is disgraceful. Also, once a free range chicken's laying declines, guess what happens to it?
If you care about chickens, don't eat them or their eggs, period. Anything short of that only makes you feel better about yourself - it doesn't help the chickens.
World consumers are turning away from Australian wool. Horrific farm practices in Australia are being exposed thanks to PETA.
One of the current issues is the barbaric practice of muesling, ripping the skin off the backside of live sheep to prevent flystrike
Since February 2008, H&M, Perry Ellis, C&A, HUGO BOSS, and Adidas, and numerous other companies have pledged to move away from or outright ban wool from mulesed lambs, including lambs mutilated using clips.
Retailer H&M boycotts Australian wool ONE of the world's largest clothing retailers has slapped a ban on Australian wool after pressure from a US animal rights group. Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) complained the Australian wool industry had "reneged" on a promise to phase out mulesing sheep by 2010. Mulesing is a now controversial technique used by Australian farmers to prevent agonising and fatal flystrike by cutting skin from around a sheep's rear end.

if gorillas can live without meat why can't we do it
treeman2007 2 years ago 7
Because we dont work eccactly the same as gorillas. Not eating meat will require us to use a lot of protine supplements to really stay healthy.
Anyway, this is only cruel, and the reason that i dont eat pork...

@Daugaard36 Wow, there's a prime example of the meat industry's advertising right there.

All chickens are farmed like that in australia .
They are indoors with the lights on so they can eat right around the clock.
6 to 8 weeks is the target with the farmer
getting 50C per bird .
so a large farm of two hundred thousand birds will turn over around one hundred thousand dollars every 8 weeks.
All major chicken outlets do this steggles /
kfc if you eat chicken they are raised this way.
