Beautiful ! Always wanted to go to Equator. Maybe one day ill get there. Looks similar to the "foothills of the Himalayas" here in Chiang Mai, Thailand ! No sheep or goats here though [sigh], but wow am I much healthier eating better food. Peace.
I have 125 acres in the hills of Santa Barbara California surrounded by BLM land....Would anybody be willing to help create a safe place to live, grow food, shelter, I have much knowledge but can't do it alone....Any suggestions from people out there? Any body in LA or San Fransisco with no where to go if the SHTF? We could even go underground.
@17seventySIX I am in San Diego now, I would love to come check out your operation. I was working on my land for a couple of months, clearing trees and digging a big hole for an underground house, but I might sell the property. I will message you privately for more info.
@17seventySIX Hey there! Sounds like you might be interested in the project that we are creating. Check out our website at one community ranch dot com or search for "One Community" and pretty much any word associated with sustainability. We are in negotiation on a property now but would be open to discussion if you feel our visions are in alignment and the property has what is necessary for the full realization of what we are creating.
I will probably be going back down there in a few months to start building something on my acre, should be a trip. Richard and Norie tell me that things are coming along well, I am hoping to get residency soon.
By default you get 6 months, I think if you can prove you are working it can be extended indefinitely. Once you own $25,000 worth of property, you can get residency by staying 9 out of the first 12 months you live there.
Isn't criticizing the government pretty much what being an American is all about? Isn't that why we have "Freedom of Speech"? So that we are free to criticize the government?
so how much for the place?

Isnt it too close to the river? I would be worried when the rain lifts the river up.

Wom man, what an amazing property!! Do you know what it takes to get a Visa that allows a US citizen to live in Ecuador long term?
