i think they are both good cars. and i do agree with althoff24 they do break but you can upgrade it and it will be as durable as the savage.

and yes i have had over 9 gallons on my savage with no work done to the engine and i do run it hard but not like full throttle for more then 15 seconds i always clean air filter tune it keep it under 225 it does wheelies jumps everything after run oil

tmaxx is shit period.

savage is a pain just to change the brakes takes an hours worth of work: but its worth it, like how often do you need to do that like once a year. i have over 9 gallons on my savage it does wheelies and acts like its brand new ive never done anything. no new piston sleeve nothing done to the savage

@MsTraxxas well traxxis a-arms, traxxis frames suck horribly if your brakes are messin up unless it flies apart and cuts some wires is pretty much a harmless problem cause when you break an a-arm you run the risk of also breaking tie-rods, axels, shocks, or if those cheap plastic frames break its possible to damage your servos, or tranny..but thats just my opinion i think id much rather deal with a brake problem especially if moneys an issue

savage is way better, at least they were about 3 years ago... I had a tmaxx and my brother had a savage. My dad hit this metal pipe with my tmaxx and broke the a arm and shock then my brother hits it one day at FULL throttle and it bounces off. You could really tell a difference on the qaulity of the two trucks, all the parts on the savage was thicker. Also, the savage was faster and more powerfull. HPI all the way! Sold the tmaxx but I plan on getting a savage XL in the future.
