This is actually my favorite 007 theme ever.

To all those who say Daniel Craig is not a proper James Bond: try to read one of the original novels and you will find a James Bond that looks a lot like Craig rather than Connery, we can say that Daniel Craig is the Bond as Ian Fleming wanted him to be and honestly, the last movies are much more realistic than the old ones...

@ranaamerindia Actually, Pierce Brosnan probably looks a lot closer to the image Fleming had for Bond. However, you are right that Craig's Bond is played the way Fleming wanted Bond to be; Casino Royale was probably the most accurate adaptation of any of his novels.

Most underrated Bond film ever. People just assume its rubbish because its George Lazenbys only Bond film. But its has one of the better Bond story lines and a really emotional ending.

@doc2skate I can remember only one scene in which I am sure that this music was played, during the opening credits, after the "new" Bond (Lazenby) saves Theresa's life at the beach. I can still see the silhouette of Lazenby hanging on to the arms of a big clock, and the showing of some scenes through the hourglass from the first 5 movies. The music may have been played elsewhere in the movie.

@VrgniaMailman You're mostly correct. Check out "007 Bobsled Chase". The scene begins with this music but isn't used for the rest of the chase. The theme is so impressionable, I probably imagined it playing throughout the entire scene. The funniest parts are Blofeld running out of bullets then throwing the gun at Bond, followed by his dropping the hand grenade in his own bobsled.

@VrgniaMailman Just checked "On Her Majesty`s Secret Service (1969) - Ski chase". The whole theme is played during the ski chase. Knew it was used in one of those chases. Thanks for making me seek it out.
