  • Good idea, thanks for the tip.

  • Nice set of videos man!

Im from Kamloops myself so I figure I would post something. I was doing up some trees with real bark bases so I was watching your videos while I was working away.

  • i got inspired from your foam with the bunker and tried usig it to cast big skulls,it doesnt really work if it doest bind to the shell of your form it just spunges up,but it works if it can bind to it though..so

  • Wow cool video.Very good idea to make trees. 5 star video.

  • Wouldn't it be cheaper to buy just the twin lead wire instead of cutting up extension cords?

  • The extension cord was going in the garbage anyway. I try to use broken appliance cords and garbage type wire.

Never checked the price on wire before. But if you start saving collecting wire being tossed you'll end up with a box or two of it for free.

  • Havin' a bad day, eh.

  • Thanks for giving me something to do with my old guitar cables:)

  • Pull the springy coil off of the solid wire from a dead E, A or D string and then stretch it out. Makes pretty good looking babed wire, eh.

Just don't tell anyone, its a still a trade secret thing.

  • Thanks!

You'r secrets safe with me: )

  • Excellent. except this all went into the comment section of the vid, lol.

Actually the secret is in gettin' the little springy bit off.

I heard that there is a machine for making your own wound strings. I'd like to try one.

  • awesomeness!!!!!!!

  • Time to update the old videos. Why exacty can you be in the old work shop was it the camera's range or is it too darn cold to be out there. Anyways I've been meaning to donate to you Steve. You're definately the reason ive had sucess with modeling. Soon as i get my new bank card. lost my wallet somewhere in this house and i know i wont find it till i replace everything in it. That's what happened lasted time. luckily I keep triple spares of everything.

  • I think its because of the cold, its winter i think in canada, and if you dont know about canada, its gets pretty friggin cold out there in winter

  • Yea. I would imaine but I'm down here in New York. still too cold for my liking but we just have a warm front blow in so it was a good 45F, that was nice.

  • Hey thanks.

Yeah, too cold out there yet. Things freeze before they dry and it is hard to do any building or detailing with a parka, touque, and mittens on. (In your guys scale its 10 to 14F)

Springs comin', it is not dark at breakfast anymore and there is still some light for a bit when you get off work.
