Yes, of course you can deep fry a whole turkey at home, but NOT in your kitchen. This is a wonderful method of preparation, but potentially hazardous. Many homes are burned down each year due to unsafe cooking conditions. Don't wait for the holidays to try it!
I don't own a turkey deep frying kit. It is not my preferred method of cooking a turkey. That is why I did not do a video of actually cooking the turkey. Today, I cooked a turkey in little over an hour by first removing the backbone and the breast bone, and roasting it flat on a sheet pan. It was safe, easy and I love the smell of roast turkey in the house. Hope you all had a great holiday! Keep the comments coming!
