Thendaryman - India was attacked unprovoked by China, not the other way round. India did not even have a formal military at that time as against China. And why would US support India? Slave and master relationships is what is there between Chinese government and Tibetians - who are you trying to kid? Check your facts.

India occupied 90,000 km2'disputed'land which British taken from China but India renamed Arunachal Pradesh and made a state.
China never has 'disputed' territory with Brain but they aways put Chinese territory into 'dispute', including Tibet,A lot of this kind of troubles left by British Empire.

India was a British Colony and only India was a British colony, not China. The areas that got independence were a part of India or Pakistan - PRC came into the picture due to its greed and has acquired Akshai and Tibet which should be independent countries. Imagine the plight of people in Tibet who have the will to protest despite the brutal use of force by the Chinese authorities. What is driving them to do this one wonders..

I dont understand the point of all of this. You can express your discomfort, but what can India do really? Nothing. China is far more powerful and far more economically capable than India. There is no way India will even express an ounce of protest, because to India they need good relations with china. India has lost all its wars against china, they will not upset china over tibet.
