You can also make a top if you make it shorter or a long dress by making it long. I'm gonna make this for my Monster High dolls. All I need is felt....and sewing skills. xD

@Smile4041 You can use a similar method to what she does in this video; draw around your doll's legs (a bit wider so it's easier to get them on), sew on the lines, cut away all the excess, turn them inside out and voila. Then you could add pockets, trimmings, a belt or any other details you like.

@DarkLaceDragon11 My advise would be to make the dress as shown, then put it on your doll (inside out) and sew along the sides to "tailor" it to fit more snug around her body. It may work/look better with curvy dolls, though, such as Barbie or Liv.
