  • Lmfao @ His name: Crazyasianpiano xD

  • What was in the background a little after 0:45

  • what voice setting do you have it on?

  • Oh, and the most important thing when trying to combine both hands - play SLOWLY. Note by note if needed. Very slowly. First you need to make sure you get the hand coordination right. After that, just play it for a while (accurately!) and the speed will come naturally.

  • For all of you who have trouble separating left hand from the right - try this. Learn one hand first. Learn it really really well until you're so comfortable with it that you're practically not thinking about what you're playing. Not even looking at your hand. Your hand will start playing the notes automatically. It's called muscle memory and you have to give it time - It will come naturally.

Then do the other hand as well and try combining. It'll be much much easier putting it together then.

  • It sounds more badass when you play two octaves with your right instead of just one.

  • @Ethandewitt HAOW.

  • @UMatter2Viaa its not very hard all you do is when ur playing the a,b,c#,e combo you play the same note to the right. so if ur thumbs on a then your pinky would be on the next a to the right at the same time. But you obviously cant do this for the third part since its more complicated ( unless your crazy fast, lol).

  • Just because he's wearing a turtle neck doesn't make him a pro to the comment below lol

  • this guys a fucking pro

  • @RealMetricPenguin not pro, just asian

  • what if your left hand won't cooperate?

  • @TheCraigy83

the best thing i found to do was to learn the right hand single notes perfectly first so you can play without looking at that part, then add in the left hand and PRACTICE

  • does any1 else think its ironic that there are kids screaming in the background?

  • Ughh i cant do two hands but godd teaching

  • Hi very nice Tutorial... I also uploaded one it is for my school! It is a different version!

    What would you change?

I am MrRedGloves so please check out my channel!

  • Its my second day playing piano and i can play this like u are, do u think im a prodigy lol, because im amazed with myself

  • he plays the second bit on the right hand weirdly...

  • this video hAS HELPED ME OUT SO MUCH!

  • A tip for all of you struggling with doing the left and right hands at the same time. I was too until i did this... figure out where in the right hand the chord changes are. that way you don't need to count to 4, you can focus on your right hand and just change your left as you hit the notes with your right. give it a shot.

  • OMG!! YOUR A GENIUS!!

  • 0:41 did anybody else hear children in the background?

  • I like your shirt...

  • Goddamn 2 pattern songs, impossible for me to play both at once

  • got it down in 5 minutes:3 im so happy:) great song, great video, thanks!

  • I am eating noodles. They are extra tasty.

  • You have small hands haha

  • i know twinkle twinkle little star ._.

  • @CocoWhy I know how to play row your boat

  • Everbody this guy is good he's playing an extra b note watch out for that

  • @nol07i Pow right in the kisser

  • ive never played piano in my life. i got a sudden craving to play after hearin this song. thanks man after practicing alot this is the first song i can play

  • ok i clicked on this expecting it to be ok but when i heard it i shat my pants it was so amazing

  • . this version is AMAZING, and the tutorial is perfect. From Argentina i say thank you

  • @berbbk uh, tutorial not perfect. he doesn't even give you the full 4 measures of music (last sequence being A B C# B A B A F# A). He also decides to add in unnecessary chords for the 2nd time through as well as throw in a B before the hold on C#. Listen to the actual song.

  • THANKYOU the only youtube tutorial I have followed through with :)

  • Right hand immposible to follow on the second part :( Can anyone give me the notes for the 2nd right hand part ?? All I got was (Fsharp & A together) ??

  • @MusicMeera Don't worry, the actual song just plays the root note, not what this guy is doing. plus he's adding in extra notes (b for example) for no reason.

  • pssh, no wonder you're crazy talented, you're asian

  • ah- MGMT is an abbreviation for "management" not M-G-M-T! But a fantastic tutorial none the less.

  • I was wondering if you can please make a tutorial of Home-Edward Sharpe and Thw Magnetic Zeros. Because your tutorials are the best. And I wanna play this for a certain someones birthday. :)

  • Additionally, there is a 1 2 1 3 pattern. You show 1 and 2, but the 4th time through, it is completely different. Listen to the actual song for an explanation.

  • unnecessary b before the pause on c#

  • You are really good at making tutorials. I have never seen a better tutorial. Many thanks, mate :)

  • this is a great tutorial, it helped alot, but would you mind telling us the names of the notes as you play them? *not saying you need to redo it, this is the best Kids tutorial out there, just saying that it would help improve future videos :)*

  • LOl, I have the same exact piano as you! Great tutorial!

  • I think people disliked this because it's far too simple and they were hoping for something harder.

  • ok foo great tutorial. But seriously are you semi retarded? slow down!

  • I haz a rolly chair so learning this song was easy ;) I just rolled from my keyboard to the computer :D

  • lol you playin it wong

  • How are you keeping your camera on your head like that????

  • 49 people obviously like reggaeton.

  • This is so amazing. <3

  • i can play both patterns but not at once my brain just blocks :))

  • @vanrok i just close my eyes and really consintrat and it isnt so hard:)

  • @johnnycade98 consintrat.....

  • @FFScantgetadamnname sorry im a bad speller

  • @vanrok that happens to me when i play clint eastwood by gorillaz

  • @vanrok It's just a matter of being able to multitask. People with ADD like myself tend to have it easier when it comes to piano haha

  • @vanrok all piano players expirience this :P

  • @vanrok It helps a LOT if you figure out which fingers press keys at the same time and then just remember the pattern. I've been playing piano for a month now and I was able to perfect this song within a week by doing that. Good luck!

  • @vanrok I was like this some time back. Just practice, more, and more :)

  • skip to the tutorial button --------------> 1:11

  • ITs great!!! I just learned this in like less than 2 hours lol :)

  • You tied the camera to your head, didn't you? Classy

  • Sex on ice

  • i can't tell what you're playing past 4:10 :c

  • Thanks a lot man this really helped. But as it turns out the melody in the right hand actually starts on B flat instead of A. But with help from you I was able to get the song in the right key on my channel. I also added the variation when the melody is played a fourth time.

  • @Agm621 I also have the same piano as you

  • I'm just wondering, what type of Yamaha is that?

  • does he have the camera taped to his head??

  • @butterfreebutter he has a tripod

  • @butterfreebutter go pro!

  • @butterfreebutter No he's asian he has camera eyes.

  • its hard to see how you played the f minor chord in the bass, and it would help if you could explain the synchronization between the left in right hands, but definitely the best tutorial i've seen for this song

  • Not to be a bother but it would help me if you could put letters on your piano. Thank You very much!

  • what are the notes for the second part where the melody changes?

  • ur head has a camera attached to it... awesome!

  • I'm getting better! =D

  • Alright I have been playing this for a while, but I can not figure out what the left hand does during the verse of the song?!?!? any help?

  • what piano do u have

  • theres much easier ways, i don't recommend this for beginners

  • Yu kick ass SOLID HARD MANN

  • love the sound of your piano dude! verry classy!! keep up the good work

  • hi nice song i love to play it :)

but i wanna know what kind of yamaha you play in the vid.

i played one time and i loved it

can you tel me what kind it is (yamaha ...............)?

  • @supermax125 youre an idiot, a complete idiot

  • what key is this in?

  • I like the piano version of the song much better than the real version. The other people in my chorus class play it all thge time. So I learned to love their voices singing it.

Now that all the seniors are leaving I want to continue the tradition, but curse my unskilled hands. I can't play both at the same time!

Any little tricks to help get them use to doing different things?

  • @Ticimama

just keep practicing so you can have both hands going without even thinking about it

  • Is that a keyboard or a piano? and whats the difference between the two? I want a piano. but its way to expensive so I was thinking of getting a keyboard instead. Would it be the same?

  • @OhhxMann There are dynamics with piano's weighted keys for soft and hard playing, whilst a keyboard has basically a one dynamic sound and feel to it. Press a key hard as you can or as softly as you can the same sound will come out but a piano will vary, depending on how hard or soft you hit it. You can hear it on many recordings from classical to rock n' roll. So your playing may be able to glide all other the place on a keyboard but on a piano it will be harder because of the weighted keys.

  • @OhhxMann Part 2 of my other answer: I think get a keyboard for home practice (they're really cheap lately) Then ask public places like churches or village halls to see if they'll let you use their piano for ocassional playing, even make a small donation to a charity or something each time you play just as thank you. This way you get the best of both worlds, a keyboard for home practice and experience at playing piano without making a huge commitment.

  • 5*s but, is this not the whole song or what?? Whatdo you do after this part

  • thanx your a real help!!!

  • @dmoxford

there are two version of the song.

one starts in bflat and one starts in a.

generally, the one with the very long intro (like the countdown, spacey/shuttle stuff) is the A version

    the one starting with 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, is in bflat.

    cheers!

  • great, thanks!

  • this is great! :D

but it would help a lot more if you could write 'a' 'b' 'c'... on your keyboard or in the 'info' spot for the video write the notes to play

  • learned it in 15 minutes lol

  • best fukken tutorial ever!!!

keep making more and make them more basic please :]]

    ur awesome

  • hey thanks for this it took me about 3 hours over 3 days it sounds awesome

  • omg, ur incredible! r u asian too? go asians! but what i wanted to ask you was um can you upload the sheet music please?

  • UWakUp - is this the real side of you? A musical genius? I'm only used to seeing your inflammatory racist comments on the anti-Amrican and anti-British sites.

  • @MissTeenBirmingham anti-american, not really, but anti-british??? LMFAO!! And inflammatory racist comments? Hahaha yeah, me, racist, lmfao people on internet is awesome xD

  • I didn't say you were either. I just said you post on those sites.

  • 00:43 actually some kid is getting killed in background lol nice tutorial ;)

  • me too^^

  • you just have to practice and train your fingers!

focus on one hand at a time and once you got the hang of one hand move to the next one, and then combine them.

remember it takes lots of practice! and it seems like your a beginner so just keep trying, it wont come to you at first.

  • i can do this on guitar :D

  • no... i just said that i could do it on guitar... lax

  • my brain is stupid, the left hand goes all weird when i put it together :(

  • @shanaeex8 Omg Same! I'm A Beginner At Piano And I Just Can't Do Two Different Things With My Hands :@ So Im Gonna Get Lessons ;D

  • @XxdumplinsxX XD, same here, this is the most difficult thing i can do with two hands atm ;D

  • @shanaeex8 Practise, practise, practise haha. When I first learned to play river flows in you i was SO slow but if you keep doing it eventually your brain will learn and so will your hands :)

  • @shanaeex8 i know right

i cant do one thing with one hand and another thing with the other D=

  • @lpkzc practice. like, every time you sit down to play keyboard, if you *really* want to learn this, focus on practicing this.
