  • It was just lucky that Antonius filled up on the river, cause he would likely pay off Ivey with his trip aces which he could never laydown. The guy just won't fold if he has something.

  • these commentTORS are terrible aq9 flop with two spades and having ace 4 wont make the hand a monster so stupid and to say hes coming over the top on the river with a king high flush draw is redicluous i think ivey could have got away from this he was only beating 4s full (very unlikely) or a bluff aghain on that board very unlikey

  • I would fold here because a) 99 is the 6th best hand and b) I'm a nit :)

  • Yeah that announcer is the worst, the pot odds for Ivey to call were also not 2 to 1

  • Antonius is not losing to 'any ace' on the turn. He ties with A8 or lower as 9 plays, AAAQ9

  • The great thing is that Phil Ivey is thinking of folding this on the river. I bet most of us would have snap called! Pure class baby

  • "absolute gin card" lol this is such a bad card for Antonius's hand vs Ivey's turn value range

  • How the hell are people criticising phil ivey?! Antonious is in the big blind, he could have any two cards!

Lets see you read him, the guys made of stone!

  • @ClaudioSanchezCC he called a raise though

  • @fateplus1 he was getting pot odds of around 2.3:1 (30%) meaning he only has to win the hand 30% of the time to make the decision a good one. Sadly for Ivey this was the other 70% of the time! :P

The odds of your full house being beaten are pretty slim and the fact alone he is thinking of folding is amazing.

  • "THIS IS THE BIGGEST POT IN THE HISTORY OF TELEVISED POKER... in europe ITS UNBELIEVABLE!!!"

  • I said 40k on the river lol

  • do they play with their own money?

  • @pirocan1 Yes

  • @pirocan1 there sponsors would pay for some of it, but most of it is there money. most of them are millionaires.

  • never seen such stupid commentary on a youtube video than here. go allin on the flop? jeeez...

  • must be a full tilt dealer

  • 3.39

    almost exactly the same lool

  • loved his reaction when he hit the full house in the river!

  • Ivey the over-glorified donkey gets owned again LOL

  • horribly played by phil ivey, call on the river...sigh what could he beat? only a flush, do that was bad.

  • @limonaadlimpa What hand would only call on the flop and turn that Ivey can't beat? The only hand is A4. AA/QQ/AQ/A9 are all raising the flop because they'd be want to get value from straight and flush draws. Ivey is not folding here getting over 2:1 on a call when there's only one realistic hand that beats him and Antonius is completely capable of bluffraising the river. Try playing against people who aren't nits that only play the nuts.

  • @limonaadlimpa Yeah as if you could've fucking did any better

  • how couldn't Ivey tell that he has 3 aces

  • @devildeal6t9

Ivey could beat 3 aces. He was hoping Antonius had three aces. But Antonius had aces over fours.

  • @sonofmoe he could also beat a flush, which also could explain Patricks' raise.

  • @devildeal6t9 lol Ivey beats 3 aces... ivey doesn't have 3 of a kind, he actually has a full house but the 4 on the river makes Antonious's fullhouse bigger than Iveys.

  • Antonius is a freaking ice block.

  • @Corbon440 born from the whom of an iceberg north of Finland to be exact

  • # 1 rule in poker if you flopp a set GO All in and don't pussy foot around it, you will get spanked.

  • @ghs224 u on crack? you get a set on flop, it is likely other player might have a higher set, straight or a flush. In this hand, ivey had bottom set, It was very likely that either Tony or Antonius had Qs preflop, and even Aces if they were slowplaying them. If you really think you do have the best hand on the flop, you would want the maximum amount of money from your opponent, and if you go all in, the chances are that you won't get called unless you are beat.

  • @ghs224 you're 98% favorite and you go all-in post flop. guy folds, you win the blinds. Maximum profit achieved. Everyone's a poker expert on youtube.

  • @ghs224 that depends on the flop and especially on the position. Good poker is not about winning many pots - just a few big ones. Here it would have been foolhardy for Ivey to go all in on the flop, with the lowest set and other big draws (straight, flush and straight flush). Ivey could have shoved on the turn: it was safe to assume that Antonius didn't have a full house then; but even then, with three A's it would have not been outlandish of Antonius to call. Unlucky hand for Ivey.

  • @ghs224 i am 200% sure that you are a losing poker player

  • Welcome to my world on Full Tilt Ivey.

  • I swear I get the most rakeback on pokerview. Im up about $730 for the week and raked in $162. Their get paid to play program they have has to be the best online by far

  • what a cooler deck... ivey has never been lucky with pocket 9's.. busted 2003 to chris moneymaker with them in a similar situation.

  • Ivey knew before show down thats he lost

  • phil ivey could only think he was beat if antonius actually had an a4. just a smooth call on a huge drawing flop means antonius has only one pair. turn ivey put him on a strong ace, aj or ak. river he didnt think it out for long enough and probably put antonius on a high flush and called, just like everyone else.

  • @0815cwells I'm sure PA flat calls AK preflop. Fail logic there.

  • @MrGnomemeat

Fail logic > no logic. The only point you made was completely irrelevant to the outcome of the hand. The way the hand was played (anotonius just flat calling then raising the river) there really is no way for ivey to fold, hes already got that much in the pot, strait COOLER.

  • @0815cwells Um...duh it's a cooler? You want an award for recognizing that? Just hilarious you included AJ-AK into PA's range. Which, (for lack of a better phrase), is fucking idiotic.

  • Its hardly a spot for Antonius to bluff so I am wondering why did Ivey call?

  • @cynicalnihilist sooo you're telling me you lay down nines full here? Gfy.

  • @MrGnomemeat given the way this hand played I would fold more often than not. there is no way patrick is raising there with a flush or trips. So its basically a bluff or he has a boat too. given the way the hand played out with ivey betting all three streets its a very bad spot to bluff imo

    does that make sense?

  • @cynicalnihilist because he had a full house.. and already ~58,000 in the pot

  • 1:16 - two sharks

  • lol 5:08 THIS IS THE BIGGEST POT IN TELEVISED POKER HISTORY...in europe

  • Why no "offline rigged!!!!11" comments?

  • i look many poker video but it's still impress me

  • he lose a little house in one word, and was disapointed like when i lose one euro in a Sewer grate...

  • Check out this guys pro poker tells blog:

    blog(dot)spotlivepokertells(dot)com

  • @swagger3898 yes, because the ace would have trips and the 2s would have a full house, u allways use 5 best cards to make up your hand(e.g flop AA2: cards AK vs 22: AK would have trips AAAK2: 22 has full house AAA22)

  • So even if you had a low set 22+2 from the community card would it beat a high trip say from the same hand/ community hand A+AA, thanks for any answers in advance;)

  • another words, Patrik Antonius wins!

  • @Serhiyko77 in other words, grammar school student

  • Ivey lost 150k why do they say 300k me no no.

  • dammit they cut the video without players reactions? thats the only reason i stayed for 5:26 was to see the aftermath!

  • Even if you are Patrick you would have to worry that Ivey could have ace queen. But he went all in anyway. Would excellent job Patrick to take a huge pot!!

  • everyone needs to stop saying what these guys should've done, I'd like to see you playing $1m cash...

  • ivey only lost half the 300k

  • @sjkdec18 no shit...

  • ivey has to fold there..

  • So a black man best at poker , golf and a black president

    what next ?

  • @coolbluezzzz basketball football sprinting......

  • @coolbluezzzz Yeah, but Ivey and Woods are good at what they do.

  • A monsta!

  • The faces Ivey makes when he loses is hilarious.

  • Ivey lost the biggest televised pot in history in Europe and in the US, to Dwan over 1.1 million.

  • phil still never showed his cards to the table xD

  • you win like a man and lose like one. Good job Phil

  • "This is the biggest pot in the history of televised poker! ...in Europe"

    D'aww...

  • @johnsmith7490 Pokerview is a scam and will be closed down!!!

  • lucky fish

  • 99 is haunted cards for ivey.. rem that WSOP?? i think he got busted by moneymaker @ rivered better fullhouse

  • I WISH THESE GUYS WOULD SHUT UP SO I CAN HEAR PHIL'S AND PATRIK'S REACTIONS AFTER THE HAND

  • @PokerPlum hilarious :D

  • @PokerPlum seriously?

  • @nickowoos That's true, it's not like I haven't done that before. I had a flush to Q, went all in, about 40k, and the guy called with royal flush. Happens all the time. It's gambling, what else to expect?

  • @NJK2222 When you say you had a flush to Queen you really mean a 9-high flush, you don't count the cards already on the board

  • Comment removed

  • @NJK2222 But how can you have the Queen (of the flushing suit) in your hand if the other guy has a Royal Flush? What was the board?

  • @toby0cooper NJK2222 PROBABLY HAD 2 LOW SAME SUIT HOLECARDS OR HAD A 8 ANDA 9 AND 10 J Q CAME OUT SO HE MUST OF THOUGHT THAT HE WAS GOING TO WIN BUT LOST WHEN HIS OPPONENTS WHOLE CARDS WERE K AND A OF SAME SUIT

  • @hoodstars559 Yeah that's exactly what I'm suggesting here. You can't both have the flushing Queen in your hand, it had to have been on the board

  • @toby0cooper YEA BUT IF HE SAYS THAT HE HAD THE QUEEN THEN HES LYING

  • @hoodstars559 Exactly my point

  • Everyone's a poker expert on Youtube

  • @ggnub100 phil ivey should have folded, I wouldve! lol jk

  • @ggnub100 haha...who doesn't play Zynga poker??

  • @ggnub100 really? Im not.

  • @ggnub100

That's gotta be the most common "most liked" comment of any poker vid now.

  • @ggnub100 Youtube pros are sick!

  • Tough luck for Phil, but I would probably do what he did. Hell, with his hand I would go all in on the flop.

  • @NJK2222 and probably end up extracting nothing either..

  • Fuk ya webcam poker is here man pokerview is the best thing ever.

  • Ivey loses 300,000 and his face is the same as if he'd won 300,000. Respect.

  • I THOURGHT 9,9,9,A,A WINS OVER 4,4,A,A,A NOT 4,4,4,A,A OVER 9,9,9,A,A SO THAT DEALER DOSE NOT KNOW WHAT SHE IS DOING

  • @paul1234567rrr No, I think you don't know what your SAYING

  • @paul1234567rrr No its right because AAA is the bigger 3 of a kind over 999 and both players have a full house so it is correct

  • @paul1234567rrr No you are simply wrong. The biggest 3 of a kind in a full house wins. So AAA wins over 999 no matter what the other pair is. The board was not 444 it was AAA. If it were 444 however you would be correct that it would lose to 999.

  • @PokerPlum yeah thats so smart.

  • Yeah keep talking commentators. It's not like we want to hear what Ivey was saying or anything, you fucking retards.

  • not showing and mucking his pocket 99 after he called on river, true class.

  • Everyone is a poker expert on Youtube

  • similar hand kept ivy from winning the WSOP ..moneymaker rivered a better fullhouse

  • dealer must work for pokerstars.

  • @PokerPlum did he ever telephone you?

  • Two of the four greatest players of the world (with Dwan and Negreanu). Wow.

  • ya im super good at poker at totally know what phil ivey did wrong thats why play 3 dollar sng's and lose

  • he takes that like a champ.

  • @itsmepreeya What are you talking about Ziigmund? neither Patrick or Ivey is Ziigmund = Ilari Sahamies.

  • I spped playing fake ass avatar poker on ftp and pstars…been rockin webcam poker on pokerview its freakin sick man. See everyone live my friends! and theres girls on there too lmao

  • It would have been 1000x more entertaining if Hellmuth had been in Ivey's seat

  • @RaidersRock lol totally

  • don't make the title phil ivey loses... i already knew the result before i watched the video.

  • If Phil would have re-raised with 99 like he is supposed to he would not have lost all his money.

  • The first 1651 hands of durrrr’s new challenge against jungleman12 has just been played, and it is durrrr who has gotten off to the best start and has taken a $130K lead. It's funny to know that Jungleman started his carrier with Pokerfrik free deposit for beginners!

  • whats sick is that ivey actually thought of folding. a lot of players would instant call.

  • @PokerPlum Snarf. Cool hand tho....

  • the fact that ivey took so long is just mad , but who can fold a fullhouse

  • @loola456 Ya I agree, the shear fact that he took so long to call was amazing. You know he was analyzing every past hand he had with Patrick, and thinking about the odds of him hitting something to beat his full house. Ivey is a rare breed, in losing he only looks smarter.

  • JA JA. THE AFRICAN GUY IS SO UNLUCKY DUDE. THE GAY GUY WOULD HAV GONE ALL IN WITH 3 ACES ANYWAY BUT GOT A GOOD SUCKOUT

  • @Wentfradump

    Lmfao....

  • Ivey deserves respect just for thinking about the possibility that his fullhouse is not a winning hand for 100% .. many people includes me would call that immediately!

  • @ANYMAL91 Yep, there are a lot of players in my opinion that would have re-raised a huge amount in that situation and lost even more money.

  • haha, this flop and hands remind me to the Rounders movie at the beggining

  • @PokerPlum Nice1 :D

  • if i had pocket 9's and someone raised me all in with that board? i wouldve called before they put their chips in

  • i think antonius lose a similar hand to ivey. ivey had pocket jacks, flopped fullhouse and antonius flopped trips aces, 800K pot i think

  • @jimbo98765 nop . but antonius donk called river with just trips aces

  • If i lost that, i'd go pikachu. When ivey lost that, he's like, hmmm....yeah..wow....hmm

  • "king flush" ...HA!

  • @PokerPlum Lulz.

  • @anitralifschitz a million im in...

  • Cooler, nothing more nothing less. You computer nerds can go back to jerking off to your porn and troll each other in the hope of feeling masculine.

  • @PokerPlum i play 2.50$ motherfuckin phone is ringin off the hook! :(

  • @gaffirl123 I've always been in awe of the nosebleed stakes, $2.50 is just too sick for me, I can't handle it! ;)
