The verse you quote, "Oh Jerusalem Jerusalem who kills all the prophets". Makes me further think that Israel of today and their possession of Jerusalem. Is "Babylon the Great". That city that reigns over the kings of the earth. And in who's cup is full of the blood of the prophets. & Rev. 11.8 ""And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the Great City, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified." So it has to be Jerusalem.

It is the spiritual temple.... the Greek word NAOS. The abomination that makes desolate was defined in the parallel Gospel of Luke. It occurred when the army of Titus compassed Jerusalem. Luke 21:20. Let the Bible speak without preconceived ideas.

Good video. I've made several recent videos on this very subject. I think my only point of disagreement with you is, the 40 yr. generation. I think it is 70 yrs. I know many scholars have said it is probably 40 yrs. But the only place in the Bible that gives a hint; says, "three score and ten". Also from the crucifixion unto the destruction of the temple; was 70 yrs. Titus destroyed Jerusalem in 70 AD.

@Howie47 - It was actually 40 years. Jesus was crucified in 30 AD. When we do an indepth study of the politican terms and coinage, the year 30 seems the best fit. The time factor for trials and testing is 40. Jesus fasted in the desert for 40 days. The Jews wandered for 40 years. It was 40 days that the disciples waited for the Holy Spirit. It rained 40 days and nights. Moses waited 40 days and nights for the law. There are many more examples.

In Rev 11 it talks about a sanctuary of God. Wasn't revelation written in around 90 A.D. and the temple was destroyed in 70A.D

What about the two witnesses that prophesy for 42 months and the great Earthquake that kills 7000 people?

Before you post another comment about the rebuilt temple, look in your concordance.

There are two words for "temple" in the Greek. A physical building "hieron", and "naos" is the spiritual temple. Read 2 Cor 6:16 and Eph 2:19-21. The words for temple are "naos". Remember what Jesus said... "I [Jesus] will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands."

God destroyed the temple in 70 AD. And He erected a new temple... "NAOS"

Look at a parallel verse in Luke. The abomination spoken of in Daniel is when the army surrounded the city to destroy it:

"And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. "

When we fit the Gospels together, they paint a full prophetic picture for us.

The Biblical timeline and the prophecy you mentioned was fulfilled in AD 70. There was no breaking apart of the 70 weeks prophecy. That's an invention of the Papacy.

I know that Christ is the perfect sacrifice and that he now holds the the office of High Priest forever. But I have also heard that you can't seperate the person of Christ from his shadow which is the Law. This is why we must still observe the annual Holy days (Feasts) and the weekly Holy day (Sabbath) less the animal sacrifices. You cannot be seperated from your shadow and the Law cannot be seperated from Christ - that is why that enallage was used.

Please read the posts. There are 2 words for temple. Revelation and Paul were referring to the spiritual temple, not a physical temple.

The books of Ezekiel are not in chronological order - specifically end-time events as it relates to Israel.

We also must remember when Ezekiel spoke of "Israel", he was not prophesying about a parcel of land, but a company of people. After the death of Solomon, the Israelites (seed of Jacob-Israel) were broken into two houses. Judah (Judah, Benjamin, Levi) in the south, and Israel in the north (10 tribes).

That's right. God says that now in the New Testament era, the Christians or born-again believers constitute the New Testament temple or dwelling place of God. Our Bible teaches us that wherever a group of spirit-filled believers gather together to worship God and to receive instruction from His Word, we are lively stones, fitly framed together. Jesus Christ himself is the chief cornerstone in whom the building grows into the holy temple "naos" of the Lord and Gods Spirit will dwell within us.

These words are symbolic of His body which would be broken for all of us. It has absolutely nothing to do with the supposed power of a Roman Catholic priest to pull Christ from His throne and slay Him over and over again. The unbloody sacrifice of the eucharist is an abomination. Without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sin.

Yes, idd the sacrificial laws ended with His death at the cross, for they were a shadow of good things to come ( Hebr. 10:1). For in Him all that was promised in the O.T (Him being the Promised Seed; Gen. 3:15; Gal. 3:16: Rev. 12:17, under the Old Covenant was fulfilled. Came to full bloom; blossom in order to bear fruit, through the Spirit, in His body; the church. Like a pregnant woman, who will give birth at the end of time, and He will deliver. (Is. 66:9).
