@ZephyrSonic I was wondering where, and if possible, how to get Aegisol and Fortisol, just before this boss battle? I currently have none, and I was wondering what I could dismantle to get Aegisol and Fortisol? Because like I said, I only have Deceptisol, and that's it.

@ZephyrSonic For my strategy for Barthandelus I did not have any shrouds, so I continuously died. But the lacks of shrouds did not compare to how many times I had failed. I used Lighting, Sazh, and Vanille. Sazh would've put all the buffs on you, including one like enfire and enfrost to strengthen my attacks. I got him on my tenth try. He was so hard.

why not switch ur settings so that ur cursors starts on abilities when you are in the match? or do u prefer it on auto battle because from i seeu keep having to click down and one more thing you can also use click right on abilities and it will repeat ur last moves u chose for that specific role so no need to click down x thudara thundara than the opponent u want to atack..just friendly tip :)

I know but I want to challenge myself to make it tougher in this game for me as im live commentating. Trust me it's not easy as it seems for games like this because you have to think quickly about what you want to do. I very rarely use the Auto-Chain because I think that it's overused and too many people just Auto-Chain over and over again like they arent really even fighting at all. But it can be quite challenging to do these big boss battles and live commentate :)

Besides that Ive already beaten this game way earlier this year hence why im starting XIII-2 on release date of the 31st in 16 days because I already know the final ending from beating it and for people that have not seen the ending of XIII should play and beat XIII or watch me beat the Walkthrough run of it which im getting even closer now cause the ending of XIII ties in majorly with the start of XIII-2.

@ZephyrSonic yeah i get u i beat it too and love watching this series still i guess im still used to having my sprint shoes on with atb+15% on lighting lol even less time to react and having skip those extra steps seem to help out but ofc ur still not there yet but hey continue what ur doing and i agree auto-battle is cheap but i understand why its there i i only use it at the start of a match to get a quick hit since the atb bar fill in the first 2secs of the fighte after that i go to abilities

When you first started expanding the crystarium at the beginning of the game... did you expand one role more of the others or you expanded them all equally?

Most of the time I usually treat the roles equally but sometimes I do like to prefer a role more over others but I pretty much just go with equally.

imo it's always nice to have the extra crystarium.I mean up to that chapter on my first playthrough I killed every enemy in my way,then I skipped the one whole section on the Palamecia with the two mini-bosses killing only what I needed to get the items.In the end once I hit the 11th chapter I realized how insignificant all those fights were.
