Still love that SG-1 made a joke about how this would happen. I think it was on the episode where the tv guys followed them to get ideas or some such. They said the crew would need to be younger and sexier, and a few other points that actually ended up being S:U.

the biggest dissapointment ever. I saw the first 3 episodes of SGU. Probably one of the worst series I ever saw in my entire life. I miss SGA and SG-1 :'(

I admit that Atlantis is my fav, I hated SG-1 Myself, and I love Universe, Its got a brilliant plot. what dont you like about it? (This would have made a great stargate atlantis movie with this plot. Imagine McKay in this situation xD)

@explodingtacoinc wow, that comment is a year old. I admit now, that i LOVE universe much more than atlantis. I sat down with my little sister and watched all SGU episode sup to episode 4 of season 2 and she loved it as much as me, I showed her atlantis and she wasnt interested... :P

I still dont see how they're going to pull off a "darker" series with a cast that reminds me of "Space Cases". Until I see something that convinces me otherwise, I'm thinking bomb. A Mark 9 Gatebuster Bomb.

I wouldn't say it's younger in tone, if anything it's more adult in tone, they just want a slightly younger audience, which ironically are drawn to more adult TV...
