  • Hey x, im new here on youtube, but i really like spyderco knives. Although i just got my account, i watched your videos for a while, im just wondering, what would you reccomend for a bigger edc knife, right now i use my delica, but i would like something bigger. Im considering the yojimbo or the military, what would you reccomend?

  • Nice one X4CTO! I just ordered a Paramilitary 2 in digi camo a few days ago and I am feeling like a 5 year old waiting for Christmas to come now... lol. Can't wait to finally get my hands on this highly touted knife. Peace brother!

  • @WeaversofEternity

Thank you my friend, I appreciate it.

HAHA! Yeah I hate waiting... I get so anxious when I order stuff.

Right now I am waiting on a package from one of my favorite knife pushers, haha! Something I've been wanting to try for awhile... so needless to say I am very anxious! =)

It's a Spydie... well actually 2 Spydies and a flashlight!

I think you'll love the digi camo Para 2... it's a great one!

    Thanks again bro, later!

  • do you think the compretion lock is weaker than manix 2 cage ball lock?

  • @pillemannen

Well I both locks have their strengths and weaknesses no doubt.

The caged ball is seemingly more robust at first due to the mass of steel involved in the ball bearing... but the Compression lock offers a liner lock style piece of steel that gets sandwiched between the blade tang and the stop pin... so it's tough.

All in all I wouldn't worry about which is stronger because they will both be plenty strong for most everything you'd use them for.

  • @pillemannen

One is not necessarily weaker than the other in terms of proper knife use. I mean it really depends on a great deal of variables, I.E. what forces are being exerted where while use and things like that. It goes into physics and dynamics of force... the whole deal.

Really I would get the knife you liked the best, regardless of which lock it had regarding the two in question here... I think they are both more than adequate.

I slightly prefer the Compression personally.

  • Ma girl would want a grape flavored. Uh, don't tell my mom.

  • @AirSoftRnS

    HAHA!

  • Do you know of anywhere i could find a Para 2 for under 100 bucks?

  • @billyhirvine09

Well you might try Amazon or something like that, I've not seen 'em too much for under $100 but I know they can be had for that occasionally. I paid like $106 of mine or so.

  • dam love watching your vids cuz and as soon as a seen your girls christmas present too you a order some GOODHEAD online. shit ma girl loves it more than me. feel like now her jaw muscles could suck a golfball through a garden hose. lol

  • @chazswanson

HAHA! Well thank you my friend, I appreciate you watching.

That GoodHead is some great shit... love that stuff! =)

The girls seems to love this stuff too, so whatever encourages the fun is cool with me!

  • @x4cto yeah it's supposed to be all blue right? But speckled almost as if the liners are silver. Thanks for your advice man ima be sending the morpho back in for a replacement!

  • @AllahBread

Well it's supposed to blue with swirls all in it, that's jeweling they did on it.

It's not really supposed to be showing silver so much as lighter blue. I have videos on my 51 Morpho and 32 Morpho on here that might show you how mine came. It's not speckled really, it's more like the swirled pattern over top of the natural grind lines on the Ti.

  • Great vid Brooo. But I'm kind of angry because I just Unboxed my bm51 and the anodizing on the titanium was terrible! Did this happen for your knife or whatsup with mine? Shitt should I send it back to the dealer? Damn I just wanna know if everyone's is like that or if mine has a defect. Thanks for your time brother!

  • @AllahBread

Thank you bro, I appreciate you watching.

Well that's not good... if it's messed up then I would definitely send it back in to them. What does it look like? Both of my 51's and my 32 came in perfect condition. I can't really say honestly unless I know exactly what you're referring to. There is supposed to be jeweling on the Ti liners though.

  • X4CTOmundo...

did you ever get your BHQ PM2 G10 Sprintster?

    What

    Is

    Up

    Have a great weekend!

  • @Revit7

    HAHA!

BHQ PM2 spint? Which one was that?

I didn't hear about that one!

I know about the Bento Box Shop blue M390 Para and the CutleryShoppe orange XHP Para... and the new brown S35VN Para... but I didn't hear about a BladeHQ exclusive unless I'm just forgetting or missed it altogether.

You have a great weekend too my friend, and thank you! =)

  • @X4CTO I ordered an earth brown G10 with S35-VN steel back in July, ha! I just emailed BHQ.

  • @Revit7

Ahh so you mean the S35VN one I see. Yeah I knew about that one, but I'm currently thinking of getting the brown G10 Millie with CTS-XHP steel. If I was going to get another Para 2 right now, I'd go for the blue one with M390 steel.

I'm still waiting on several sprint runs to release... like the Dodo, the new "R" and a few others... so my knife list is loaded, LOL.

  • @X4CTO yes that's it, I don't think its a BHQ exclusive, I thought it was suppose to ship Q4 2011

  • @Revit7

Yeah several of the Spydies were scheduled to ship in Q4 2011 and got backed up or something. Hopefully they will kick up production soon though.

  • By the way I seen that pink sig you got.....really makes you wonder why more guns and gear people don't put out atleast more pink stuff. Ar-15 glock hk and on and on surefire.

  • @jmmurdy

Yeah that pink Sig is sweet... I got it primarily for my wife to train with a while back, but I'll take it to the range myself and get some funny looks, HAHA! I took shit when I bought it too, I got the video out there where I talk about that too. LOL.

I want a pink Spyderco Endura too, can't find that one very easily these days. I don't know why guys have such a problem with pink... I mean pussy is pink and we all love that... well I guess not ALL... but I do, LMAO!

  • im ass hurt .. lol jk i watched it to the end .. ramble on !!

  • @ER720

    LMAO!

Thank you my friend... glad you're not really ass hurt! HAHA!

  • @X4CTO oh and that good head is the shit !! they have one with a warming thing to it .. you will nut all over yourself !! lol

  • @ER720

    LMAO! That sounds about right.

  • Did buck ever put a thumb stud on the 110....if they did man that would awesome.

  • @jmmurdy

I don't know actually, that's a good question. I know they made a thumbstud adapter type thing you could buy and put on it yourself though, I can't confirm if it worked well or not honestly though. I agree, the Buck 110 and 560 would be great with a one-handed opening mechanism.

  • Like the para 2 reminds of emerson.

  • @jmmurdy

In what way do you mean exactly?

  • @X4CTO The black with the g10....I seen ZT like that also....most emersons are black with g10

  • Nice video....you and Calvin all to get together

  • @jmmurdy

    Thank you, I appreciate it.

Calvin is a great guy, a friend of mine! =)

  • @X4CTO

No problem! Great review btw. I guess it's an illness buying all these knives and whatnot.

  • @archery425

Thank you, I appreciate the compliment.

HAHA! It's an illness indeed... these blades can be very infectious! =)

  • Damn you! I just bought an all black manix 2 and said I was done buying knives for a while. This video may make me go back on what I said haha.

  • @archery425

Sorry about that my friend, LOL. I know how that is.

I'll try to slow down, then I'll start seeing videos on a knife and fall in love with it and have to have it.

The Para 2 is a great one indeed... as is the Manix 2... love them both!

  • @X4CTO

    Thanks, man

    :($)

    ☣

  • @Bltheman1

    You're welcome bro. =)

  • @X4CTO

LMFAO, it's a very rare disease. Fuck it, why not start trade marking my comments lol. Have a good night

    :($)

  • @Bltheman1

    HAHA!

I agree, might as well have a thing you do... makes 'em unique and I'll know who I'm talking to without even reading the name, haha.

You have a good one to my friend, thank you.

  • Goodhead. lol Damn dude. I love your channel man. You just crack me up, big time! Keep it up

  • @elongatuspiranha

LMAO! Thank you my friend, I appreciate the support!

I love making people laugh and just enjoy their time watching and listening... gotta keep it funny and interesting or it will get boring to me even, lol.

  • @X4CTO

    @X4CTO

Sorry ran out of room on previous comment

    Alright man peace

    :($)

    ^

That's a guy with a bandana on in case you did not know, ma trademark on every comment

  • @Bltheman1

That's cool... comment all you'd like, I never mind that.

HAHA! I'll remember your little bandana man then my friend.

I don't really have a trademark in my comments, only in my videos, but occasionally I'll end my comments with an X. HAHA.

    Later my friend.

  • @X4CTO

So it is a blanket, I can sleep better at night now:) lol. My para is so tight (like playboy girls) ahem, my bad I have Internet turrets lol. But really my lock when pressed wont even let the blade drop at all. It can so fucking sharp too. I shaved all the hair off one leg. Look like a retarded wolf man. A para 2 with a speed safe would be pretty cool like the zt 301. Jesus Christ Now I'm rambling. Well one last thing got 2 free kershaw cases for my leek. Gotta love warranties;)

    Alrigh

  • @Bltheman1

HAHA! I have that same condition... I tend to say crazy stuff at any given moment, you've come to the right channel for that, LMAO!

Yeah Spyderco's S30V is very well done, I love the edges it takes consistently... which is why I have so many blades in that steel. =)

LMAO! My legs have spots of hair missing too, my wife was laughing at me earlier... ahh the hairstyle of a knife lover, LOL.

Kershaw has excellent customer service indeed, I did a video about that awhile back.

  • Would you be willing to sell a spydi or a good folding knife i cant afford retail... i also live in texas

  • Great review and general comments. I agreed with all but two of them. I'll pick S30V over VG-10 at least 8 times out of ten. For me the only thing VG-10 does better is get a scalpel edge. For me, the Paramilitary 2 is the right size. Want a smaller knife, go with the Native 5.

  • @Chris1992usa

Thank you brother, I appreciate that!

Yeah S30V is an excellent steel, absolutely, but I will admit there's just a soft spot in my heart for VG-10, haha... just love those edges it gets. S30V always gets a little more "toothy" for me, but still plenty sharp enough for everything. Both great steels!

No doubt the Para 2 is a great size indeed... love it. I'm just more in love with Millie, haha. I base a lot on personal desire as much as performance I think.

  • @Chris1992usa

As for the Native 5... I love everything about that blade.

I was a little concerned about the heat treat, etc. on their S35VN though... hope all that is sorted out. I don't have any experience with that steel so I am curious as to how it performs. I'd definitely like to test one out.

I'm currently evaluating the CTS-BD1 steel on my Manix 2 Lightweight, so far I am loving the steel for the cost. Able to get very very sharp and do so quickly but not lose it quickly.

  • great review brother whats ur thoughts on the BLUE PARA MILITARE 2 with the M-390 steel bro im not to familiar with that steel ?

  • @42cujo

Thank you bro, I appreciate that.

My thoughts on the M390 Para 2? I think it's a hell of a choice actually. I would honestly like that in a regular Millie a little better, but still a hell of a choice. I love the blue G10 for sure and the Bohler M390 steel is right up there with DuraTech 20CV from what I hear, have not used 20CV myself yet though. I want to get the Millie in CTS-XHP soon myself, I've had great luck with carpenter steels so far.

    cont'd...

  • @42cujo

Now as for M390 vs. S30V (or similar)... I don't personally see a whole lot of difference between the two, maybe slight advantage to M390 in a few areas, but all in all they're both excellent. I think M390 might be able to get a bit finer edge, but real world I don't think you'll see a huge difference... only if you're very particular about your edges.

I think the real performer for the price is CTS-XHP... that's a great steel I think personally. Love the carpenter steels!

  • @X4CTO great knife dude, really like it,too bad that over here(Croatia)is hard to find one, i know one place in my all fu*king country that you can buy spydies, and usually they don' have it ,and if you do find it they are expensive as hell...

    did you get the strop?

  • @dean1708987

    Thank you, I appreciate that!

Strange thing is, it's kind of that way around here too... I usually have to buy all my Spydies online because many of the retailers just don't carry them around here.

Yes indeed, I have a strop sitting right here in front of me... a friend of mine made me one custom, I will definitely do some video on it soon.

  • @X4CTO can't wait the video,i use my belt without polishing thingy(i don't know the word sorry),after you can shave with it :)

    for now i have tenecius,ambisius and,of course,endura saber black frn :)

i just found used on forum, spyderco karambit(if you want i can send you a jpeg of it ) and dragonfly in h1 steel...now i have to decide which one to buy hehe

  • @dean1708987

I am very much looking forward to making that video myself... I haven't even tried out this strop yet, looking forward to that too. =)

You have some very good Spydies there to start with, I hope you can get many more my friend.

I did some videos on the hawkbill H1 Spyderco... the Spyderhawk H1... very destructive blade indeed. One of my preferred defensive blade styles in fact.

  • Soory for alm da coments but i have a dilema. I have just baught a didgi camo military. Now, do i get another one which i wsnt or do i get a paramilitary? Aaahhhhhh

  • @007Knives

Nah I don't mind the comments bro, not a problem at all.

Well I don't know my friend, if you like the Military a lot then you know you'll like it if you get another one... but then again, the Para Military 2 is an excellent choice and I'm glad I decided to get a couple of them. I don't think you can go wrong either way, but since you already have a big Millie, maybe try out the little Millie, haha.

  • Im with u all the way bruv. Ive had a few but i still know what im sayin :). I reckon i could chat knives with u all day man but im on the other side of da planet :(. I look forward to ure reviews. Take care ma man. Joe

  • @007Knives

LOL! Well that's cool bro... I need to have a few myself I think, HAHA!

Feel free to send me a message anytime... I never mind discussing knives.

Plenty more reviews and rambling videos coming soon. You take care too brother.

  • U ARE THE MAN. I wish i could be with u and fuck up anyone that says shit bout u bro

  • @007Knives

    HAHA!

  • I love u man. Ill back u up any day. Fuck all the haters. U r the man

  • @007Knives

Thank you my friend, I appreciate the support. =)

  • good stuff... That knife is definetely on my list. I like the size, It´s smaller than the manix 2 right?

  • @gabyro770

    Thank you my friend.

I do recommend the Para 2, it's such a great little EDC knife. My favorite thing about it is the super smooth blade action, that pivot has almost no friction or resistance.

It's a tiny bit smaller than the Manix 2 overall, but it's definitely lighter weight than a standard Manix 2. I love the Manix 2 as well, but the Para 2 is my favorite of the two so far. The Manix has slightly better ergonomics though. They're all great! HAHA!

  • Just wondering lol

  • If you had to choose and you can only have one would you take the milli or a endura

  • @galantman93

HAHA! Well I'd certainly hate having to choose because I love them both. I have a long history with the Endura and I do love it, always will. It has never let me down, but if I had to make a choice then I'd have to take the Millie. I just love every single thing about the Millies... and this Ti Millie is probably one of my favorite knives of all time right now.

  • It was between a Para 2 satin finish and a satin finish full-size Griptilian for my next purchase. I ended up going with the Grip. Still waiting for it to come in. Great video as always X!

  • @averysevenfold

Well enjoy your Griptilian my friend.

Thank you for watching, I appreciate it.

  • @X4CTO I appreciate all you do on YouTube! Been with you since the beginning, and I never have regretted subbing to you! :)

  • @averysevenfold

Well I very much appreciate that my friend... I am grateful for your support!

I do it because of the cool people on here such as yourself. Thank you. =)

  • Nice knife... I'm going to get a military with plain edge black blade. Camo handle

  • @vansurfing

    Thank you!

That's a sexy Millie indeed... love the digital camo!

  • Ti para 2 wit VG10 blade that would be......sweet

  • @matt1315s

I agree... I would love that combo myself!

  • I think ill get that digi cam and satin para to match my milie. Hilarious review

  • @weaponaficionado

I do highly recommend the Para 2's... the digital and satin is the first one I bought too, love that combo. Thank you my friend, I appreciate you watching. =)

  • After EDC'ing my Para 2 for about 7 months, it has got just a little bit of side-to-side blade play. BUT the Para 2 is my favorite EDC knife by far. There are cooler blades, but the Para 2 is such a practical blade for urban EDC.

  • @calgunner

Yeah I've heard some of them have a little side-to-side sometimes, either before or after use... but hopefully it's never much.

I agree... the Para 2 is one hell of an EDC blade for sure... very practical and just cuts like crazy! Love that blade shape.

  • LOL I have gotten a lot of good head with that "good head'' ;-) my gurl liked the cherry, there was also this stuff that numbed her throat and she liked that a lot and so did I !!! Great review brother, I would love to see the para2 in Titanium! I still need to pick up the original millie, most likely the Ti model ;-) Whats the status on that Jetbeam? Hit me in a pm or whatever...Thanks for sharing, take care.

  • @OnTheEdge72

HAHA! Gotta tame the lady's gag reflexes... that always makes for a fun time indeed!

Mrs. X likes the cinnamon stuff! HAHA!

Thank you my brother, I appreciate it.

Man a Ti Para 2 would be so kickass! Hopefully they'll do one eventually!

I highly recommend the Ti Millie though, this is seriously my favorite knife now I think. Love it.

Still have the Jetbeam bro, I'll PM you in a bit.

I appreciate you stopping by bro... take care.

  • crap thats atleast 800 bucks right there!

  • @ericvault

HAHA! I don't even want to think of that part of it, LOL.

I do love my Millies and such! =)

  • Ha Ha Ha!!!!!!! That's what I call good head!!!! I love both my para-military and military. I wish that spyderco would make a mille built like the para, dreaming. Keep you videos coming!

  • @86rican

Gotta love some good head! =)

They're really both great knives, I love them both as well.

Maybe they'll make the Military 2 and make some sweet changes to it... I'd buy some, haha.

Plenty more videos on the way my friend, thank you.

  • Y, I think I'm leaning towards the para 2 for now.

  • @SuperCrichards

The Para 2 is a great one for sure... I am very glad I picked them up.

Still do prefer the Millie personally, but I wouldn't want to give up my Paras now that I have them.

  • Is that lockup on the Millie just dang easier than the para 2? Just wondering cause I dont have a spydie with that lockup..let me know man. Thanks, C.

  • @SuperCrichards

You mean the frame and/or liner locks?

If so... yeah I find those a little easier personally... but that's not to say the compression lock is hard to operate or anything. Might be just because I'm used to frame and liner locks more though... only time will tell.

  • Do you just like rubbing things in my face? I hate you LMAO. Great video dude! I love your rambling vids!

  • @NavBrat97

LOL! Sorry about that brother... but I really appreciate you watching. =)

Plenty more on the way... I still have all these videos on my desktop to get to.

  • @X4CTO

Haha, no problem, i'll be waiting!

  • @NavBrat97

    Good deal! =)

  • Where do you pick these fin knifes up at?

  • @cody0018

Wherever I can find them... sometimes at my local knife shop, sometimes online... places like BladeHQ, Knifecenter, GPKnives, CutleryShoppe, etc.

  • when you mentioned the good head i thought you were gonna say something like you had an allergic reaction like it turned your balls green or something. that compression lock is neat, it's like an ass backwards liner lock that allows for easier safer one handed closing. i'm also a g-10 slut so i dig em but if the planets align, and everyone else who enters has a black cat walk in front of them i'll win that bladehq sage 4 and i'll have to deal with titanium and wood.

  • @FatGuyWithAKatana

LMAO! I most certainly did not have green nuts... I had a reaction to it though... Mrs. X helped with that a little! HAHA!

Yes indeed, I like the compression lock quite a bit... safer no doubt, though I've never cut myself on a liner locking knife and such.

Well good luck winning the Sage 4 my friend... it's certainly a beautiful blade.

  • @X4CTO i cut the shit outta myself on an mtech liner lock while i was in west memphis arkansas.

  • @FatGuyWithAKatana and i've got a video up of it where i bleed all over the hotel's towels, pretty fun.

  • @FatGuyWithAKatana

LOL! I always get mad when I get cut with anything but a balisong... see with a bali it comes with the territory so it's like a ritual or some shit, LMAO! A badge of honor even. HAHA!

  • @FatGuyWithAKatana

    Well that's not good.

  • Awesome video man and yeah the Para 2 is on my list. I just got a Manix 2 g10 and it is out of this world awesome, there's nothing like it.

  • @BenTheDream1018

Thank you my friend, I appreciate you watching.

I love my Manix 2's as well... if you think the Manix 2 is smooth and you like it, them you should definitely check out a Para 2... man I've never felt a Spyderco this smooth. I highly recommend the Para 2 and Millies... excellent blades!

  • Custom no. 2 came in today!

You don't really hear much of blade play when it comes to the camo para 2's. All the ones that I've handled and the one I own all swung freely with not even a small amount of movement open or closed. I heard some complain about the grey and some of the blue para 2's had blade play and were sloppy when closed or didn't swing freely. Lucky for me all the ones I have are squared away and solid

  • @drumrboy80

Well that's cool my friend! =)

Yeah same here, both of my Para 2's are squared away as well... no play any which way... both very tight and still smooth as glass. My camo one is a bit smoother indeed, but the black one is very nice too, nicer than many many other blades out there! =)

The only knive pivots I have that are smoother than my Para 2's are on balisongs... now that's saying something!

  • I just picked up a Para Military 2 and I love it. I EDC it and now issues

  • @cobra4246

Good to hear... it really is a classic in it's own right already!

Love the Millie and the Para 2!

  • LOL ".. i like a bigger hole, unless you are talking about women.. " Brilliant

  • @kdubphoto

    LMAO! True indeed! =)

  • The only real fault that I can find with the Para 2 is that it is not completely ambidextrous because of the lock. It is very annoying and hard to close with the left hand. To help this I would like to see a Para 2 with a frame lock.

  • @Red1Storm

Yeah true that! My wife is a lefty and she has a bit of a time operating the Para 2... I'm surprised they don't release a left hand version like they did on the big Millie.

I would absolutely love a Para 2 with a Ti frame lock... just like my Ti Millie... that would be kickass!

  • Yea i want one! lol Did you get my Pm's? Strop is in the mail...

  • @Lookinformemarbles

They're really kickass knives for sure... everyone should have at least one! HAHA!

Haven't had the chance to reply bro, doing that now in fact... your grips went out today brother... thank you again, I appreciate it. Looking forward to trying out your custom strop! =)

  • aw yeah, para 2.. got my order issue worked out, and got mine in the mail yesterday.. i've been playing with it 24/7, even right now ;) definitely my favorite knife I've ever had. love the ergonomics. I really feel like this is the buck 110 of this generation, like dan said. I think everyone needs at least one.

  • @SkylarrL

Well that's very good to hear my friend, glad you got one... it's a kickass knife to say the least! I always play with my Paras and Millies... can't stop flicking them open, love that click sound they make, haha! Ergonomics are excellent on both indeed. Everyone does need at least one, I personally need a few more myself, LOL.

Thanks for watching, I appreciate it.

  • i think it would be awesome for there to be a vg 10 version it would be awesome and it would drop the price so its more affordable

  • @rapdog90

Absolutely! VG-10 is one of my all time favorite steels!

I would love the price drop and a whole bunch of new different colors to go with it! =)

  • Excellent review my friend ! The para 2 & the millie are 2 awesome knives. I love vg10 too, but on the para 2 i think s30v is more appropriate (holds an edge better).

  • @Halfmoon67

Thank you, I appreciate you watching it. =)

Agreed... two of my favorites so far.

Yes indeed... S30V does indeed hold an edge a bit longer and I love the "toothier" edge develops in most cases... but I do love VG-10 for it's toughness, it's a little less brittle and prone to edge damage than S30V in my usage.

Then again, I'd love to see a Para 2... no, scratch that... a Millie in DuraTech 20CV, HAHA! I lvoe having a lot of choices in blade steel to try out.

  • who doesn't love a para 2 :)

  • @nmooney151

Well I've heard a few that didn't care for it, but they're certainly in the minority.

I love the Para 2 personally... very glad I decided to pick up a couple of them!

  • if the para 2 came in tanto and titanium scales...i'd cum

  • @jackeddemon

HAHA! Well I would love the Ti scales for sure, just like my Ti big Millie... but as for the tanto... as much as I adore the tanto blade I couldn't give up the Millie/Para 2 blade shape for any other... that's one of the things I absolutely love about it. Cuts and pierces better than any tanto I ever experienced. However... I have my Benchmade 760 Lum if I want a Ti tanto. =)

Now if it had a traditional Japanese style tanto like on the CRKT Hissatsu... oh yeah! HAHA!

  • Like your in love with the Millie, I'm infatuated with the Para2. this blade is a workhorse and collector or not, you need one of these in your stable. A Classic, Tru on that. Excellent Review on one of my alltime favorites. Orange one coming out in the Spring!!!

  • @Rudemustang1

They're both great blades and I don't think anyone could go wrong either way. Same excellent slicing ability on both and save for some minor differences (depending on who you ask of course) just two different sizes of the same kickassness! HAHA!

Thank you my friend, I appreciate you stopping by to watch and listen to the rambling.

The orange ones are all pre-order sold last I checked, hopefully some will hit the secondary market... I still kind of want one.

  • Awesome...thanks for the great comparison vid. Got me thinkin I might need to add a Millie to keep my PM2 company!

  • @BDNX

Thank you... and... you're welcome. =)

I do recommending get a big sis for your Para 2... big Millie is my personal favorite, over a whole lot of other knives too. Great blade all around!

  • cold steel has apparently gotten a new coating for 2012 heres hoping its better then the old one lol

  • @wolfbrother2501

So I heard... I look forward to trying it out. I believe they call it their Tuff-Ex finish. Looks kind of like the coating that's on my Manix 2, at least in the photos it does. If so then it will be good. Hopefully it will be better than the old Teflon coating indeed, 'cause that was shit, LMAO. My personal favorite for looks and performance is DLC, but I like TiNi too... I guess we'll see.

  • @X4CTO DLC is the shit man that stuff is like imposible to wear off lmao hopefully coldsteel listened to everyone and decided to make it a much better coating it already looks a lot less shiny so thats good tbh the coating is the only critisim ive heared about cs products

  • @wolfbrother2501

    Agreed, good stuff.

I've been using my DLC Spyderco Millie a lot and still looks new, can't complain about that.

I'm looking forward to trying out their new coating... I love their knives in every other regard so we'll see how it comes out. I'll tell y'all what I think about it either way, you know that... haha.

  • I agree with a VG-10 version ;)

  • @LeMieux250

I would love that... VG-10 is just one of my all time favorite steels. =)

  • @X4CTO Also, a more expensive version of the tenacious with VG-10 and better hardware would kick ass. I like the line lock and the blade shape so much better than the enduras and delicas

  • @LeMieux250

Yep, I would be on board for that one too! I'd love a VG-10 Tenacious with better hardware!

I'm still overall and Endura fan, but the Tenacious is great... love that blade shape too.

  • I might buy one of these within the next couple days, been saving up for a $100 plus EDC.

  • @RENOGUY777

Well I do highly recommend having at least one of these... the Para 2 or the Millie... both great! The Para 2 is already a classic and very much a kickass EDC blade!

  • Man I Gotta get me some goodhead and a para 2!

  • @deebs1596

HAHA! I highly recommend both... both make you feel very good! =)

  • great vid! i don't have either one.. i think i the 2 would better suit me. i also enjoy hearing you ramble, lol!.. great vid brother!

  • @muddieddesire

Thank you, I appreciate that my friend. =)

They are both great and you can't go wrong with either in my opinion.

I appreciate you listening to my rambling and watch... thanks again! =)

  • .. have the feeling you swapped hardware between the two?..

  • @lafayette512

Between which two? The two Para 2's?

If so, then no... that's how I bought them.

Actually I've not swapped hardware on any of my Millies... blades I have though. =)

  • You have such a great collection, my millie is all alone by itself.

  • @EddieCubillo

Thank you my friend, I appreciate that! =)

I'm very much in love with my Millies... need more! HAHA!

  • Where did you find the para II with black hardware?

  • @lafayette512

I got mine at BladeHQ... they have both the all black (black hardware) and the black blade with stainless hardware. Same price so I got the all black one. =)

  • love the orange on black

  • @lafayette512

Thank you, I love that one too... one of my favorites! =)

  • You are preaching to the choir so to speak with me brother!! You know I love my Para 2!! Take it easy.

  • @glock19gen4

HAHA! Right on brother... the Para 2 is a great one indeed, love it!

Thank you for stopping by my friend, I appreciate it.

    Stay sharp bro!
