I was never a fan of karaoke, in fact I hate it. But having said that I was meeting someone in a pub near where I live, and I saw one of my mates get up to go on

the Karaoke, and he sang this song, and I tell you what, if you had closed your eyes

and heard him singing this, you would have sworn you were listing to the original

For some reason... i always picture this song being played at a funeral. Maybe as a loved one is thinking about the person who's dead and the coffin is dissapearing behind the curtain, the spirit of that person is looking at their loved one and vanishes into the ether.

I'm not at all religious and i mean that in a purely romanticised and hyperbolic way, but still. I imagine this to be played at my own or someone else's funeral.

Depressing for me, but it is a beautiful song.
