Yes, there are many half-timbered and even fully timbered houses and buildings along the east coast of the United States. On YT you can see hundrets of videos from wonderfull bells and whole peals in Germany and Middle-Europe from 12th ct untill the present time! You´ve just to enter "Glockengelaeute in Deutschland" or so similar...Much fun!
@TroySundt The United Methodist Church in my small town has those kind of bells, but we dont have a Catholic church. It got turned off though, because of community complaints. I used to love them!

Half-timbered houses in USA ... WOW ! I don´t know that they exist!
It´s possible that these "bells" are electronic,but the melody is very nice..!
