Your no slouch, regardless of the shitty processor sound. I'm looking to get the exact same guitar you have in your hands but I got dimarzio's I would put into it. Would you suggest buying one of these? Or try to find something else?

As for the guitar, it's really good for it's price, although on my specific one, the eighth fret isn't pushed in all the way, so the high E string can get caught under it, which is a big issue. I've heard Douglas guitars can be hit and miss. I had Seymour Duncans put into mine, and it sounds awesome.
Bottom line, see if they have a return policy maybe. If they do, I'd say give it a go, and just ship it back if something's wrong.

@cameronrisse If you want a really good, accurate tab for this song (or any other Megadeth song for that matter), I would recommend checking out abysslord's website. It's kinda hard to explain how to play that part in words unless you're really theory savvy.
@thespartenkid It's a Douglas Spad Pro from rondomusic. I had the Seymour Duncan JB and Jazz pickups put in after I got it. The guitar stock cost about $225 when I got it.
@thespartenkid Actually believe it or not it's a mahogany neck and body, and it's a set-neck. Not neck-thru sadly, but the heel is like non-existent. That's the main reason I got it. The neck is a little on the thicker side, almost like a slim profile 60s Les Paul neck.
@ZoSo127 that is an amazing price for that much value, and it looks pretty good quality aswell, im probably getting a LTD EC1000 in vintage black, but i want another superstrat, just with a string through instead of a floyd :D
@thespartenkid Yeah that sounds awesome man haha. Floyds CAN be a pain if you change tunings a lot. But yea, if you need a string through, set neck superstrat, I would recommend this. It has a 5 way selector switch, so it splits the pickups' coils too, if you're into single coil pickups for anything.
