Had to return to this today. Dan's interviews are so rare, and such treasures. Thank you again for sharing this! Dan was not only an incredible musician, but a wonderful man, believing in all things good, and standing up for them in the way he conveyed so many things to us; through his music, as well as in his rare, treasured interviews, as this is....
Dan from his beginning to heartbreakingly his end here on earth was always so humble. He is to be admired not only for his music but for the man he was; i.e., saving our planet. A wonderful musician who I've loved since (a child in) the '70s~Brought tears to my eyes to see him here talking as if he were still w/us.Wish I had gone to your Official Website many more times while you were here to tell you how much your music has always been an inspiration to me. You will live forever in your music.
What a big surprise seeing this video! I actually live in The Netherlands (Europe :-) ) and I was thrilled to hear that he lived in Nederland Colorado. In the Netherlands we call our country 'Nederland'.
I'm still feeling very hollow because he is not on this earth anymore. He was my big inspiration when I was a girl of thirteen/fourteen years old, and he still is, although I turned 45 now.
Awesome!! Thank you so much for posting this great find. DF didn't do too many interviews, but when he did, he was always charming, intelligent and funny. If you have any more, please share. Thanks again.
This is awesome. I was born in Boulder and that area has a very special place in my heart and I'm so glad that place helped Dan give us the music he has. Great post can't wait to see more if you have any more.
An unexpected surprise, finding this interview with Dan. He's greatly missed by all his fans and seeing something like this is a cherished moment. Thanks
...and that high school sweetheart was my roommate in college! I'll always be grateful to her for turning me on to Dan's music in 1974. In fact, I just published a book and dedicated it to Dan's memory, which will live on forever in our hearts! Thank you so much for posting this wonderful interview!
