  • awsome tht looks painful

  • i cant see it

  • well im positive one of those eggs didn't hatch since there not suppose to be moved at all n ur gecko was like spinnin it lol :)

  • they can be moved in the first 30 min to 1 hour after they are laid before the embryo attaches to the wall of the egg.

  • If you've seen them lay their eggs before, you'll know that they all turn them like that. The eggs hatched fine.

  • @CuNT0100 after it sits for a lil then the inner stuff grabs the shell and then if u tip it it dies

  • hey, what does the age and weight need to be for a male to breed. And also, can the female be just under 50, like say 45 grams? I've been trying to get her weight up and can't seem to get it over 45. Is that ok?

  • I try to wait till males are at least 10-12 months at the least and healthy. 45grams is a little small for a female not saying it can't be done safely but best to be kept to expierenced breeders.

  • why dose she kick them?

  • she dug a hole hole and shes putting them in

  • yea my leopard gecko laid eggs a few times before. at first i didnt know it could be eggs! but i do now, i seen 2 eggs in her, when she tried to stand up n climb up the glass. I have a albino gecko and a regular wall climbing gecko all in a 50 gallon tank. .. I just got a Blizzard gecko n the albino n blizzard were fighting does that mean their bot males? But i did split them up.

  • how big would you say the egg laying box need to be? like do they have to be completely straight to do it? tail and all? x

  • How old are your leapord geckos? And how long have they lived together? also do you need to do anything to make them mate or will they just mate randomly? please reply :) thnx

  • push push pusah i can see the pointy egg shell lol.

  • how the hell did u catch this..its rare lol

  • It's not so rare if you know the signs to look for in your females. I've whitnessed this a few times but this is the first and only time that I've made a video of it.

  • did she turn the eggs over? Doesn't that kill the eggs?

  • Not in the first half hour or so after they are layed. When the eggs first come out they are very soft, turning them get them covered in the substrate and gives them that stale marshmellow texture they get when they are fertile. Infertile eggs will stay soft.

  • k cool

  • do they have to mate some one told me they didnt. they told me the female lays it and waits for a male

  • .... Not lizards..... fish do that, though. So do some amphibians, I believe. Lizards have to mate.

  • yeah toads do tht .. the female drops the spawn and the male makes the spawn fertile

  • wow yeah my gecko is digging everywhere in her frekin cage and won't just lay the dang things!!! But she laid two like a while ago today and now more!!!! But yeah how long before they hatch

  • 20 days until they would hatch if they're fertile.

  • 20 days? NOT!

On average at 86 degrees it's about 45-50 days for leo eggs to incubate.

  • hey i need to know where to buy perlite and vermiculite for my egg incubation!!! can someone tell me where to buy some

  • try somewhere like homebase or b&q or if ur maerican walmart

  • A garden supply store

  • is walmart virmiculite ok for a laying box?

  • yeps.

  • my female is gravid her first time. Im taking the male out and putting heim in a temperary viv tonight. Hes going over to a friends because my friend wants to breed his (I get half the money from his clutch =])

  • thats not nice, why does everything have to be about makeing money... just let you male have good time and leave it at that

  • everything has to be about making money because then ill have more money for crickets

  • It's called a hobby.

  • wow i want to have baby leopard geckos also im getting some on monday a male and a female so when they get older i want to breed them

  • aww! My gecko is gravid, I hope i could ketch her on my cam too :D that looks really cool

  • has ur leo gave birth yet

  • whats a cool male

  • The temperatures at which eggs are incubated define gender. At cool temperature, you get mostly girls, and the boys are "cool males", they act differently from females. Same goes for "hot females".

  • Dang that looks like a baby leo how long does it tank for them to mature

  • its kl lol a was at a shop today n spoke to thm about it.

reptile sand is designed so if its digested wiv food it woodnt coz impaction so a know wot am usin is ok.

  • even though it is partially dugestable, calcium sand builds up quickly in their stomach before they are able to poop it out

  • In the real world, geckos don't live on sand... more like hard clay. The store just wants to sell.

  • Same here, I agree (so do the vets)

  • Reptile sand certainly CAN cause impaction. I wouldn't use it.

  • u didnt post comment on ma video sayin if ma subtrate is ok for my gecko.its pre-sterilesed reptile sand

    wb plz

  • I usually don't comment on sand as it tends to cause a big debate. Personally I would never use sand.

  • did th eggs hatch? and wot wer th offspring? lol

just bought a 12 week old albino on sun thr and th herpetologist tht sold me here gave me sterile reptile sand to keep her on,see ma video named ma pets a comment tellin me to take her off it but thts wot she was on in th shop so a dnt see wots so bad its sterile sand sold for reptiles post a comment on ma vid plz thnx

  • Yes they hatched, were SHCT one male and one female. I kept the male and sold the female. This mom was bread to a Bell albino this year and produced some jungle het bells for me. :)

  • nice! how many eggs do they normally lay? and how many were layed there?

  • They tyically lay a clutch of two eggs, during the begining or the end of the season a single egg clutch can be laid. How many clutches per year depends on the age and health of the female.

  • Oh forgot, she laid two eggs in that clutch..... I just happened to catch her after she laid the first one for that video. :)

  • kool =)

do they breed all year round or just a certain time?

  • Feb - Sept is the normal breeding season, but you can trick them into different times of the year, with lights and heat.

  • helinator, Not really but at the same time as far as cost it would depend on the amount of carrot tail we are talking about. If you'd like to find out more about morphs visit geckoforums dot net

  • *Reptile*

  • nice, good to see a petile keeper that is not a retard. so many people posting videos and comments that have the mind of a fish.

good job at keeping her in the dark too :)
