OK I saw many better Bond movies but The Spy Who Loved Me was great Action/Adventure movie. Roger Moore shines as always. Barbara Bach was great but Caroline Munro impressed me much more - she was really stunning. Curd Jürgens and Richard Kiel (Jaws) were great as well.
I love this bond film, despite being made 16 years before I was born, I can watch it time and time again. Mark my words, there is no such thing as a bad Bond film.
Of the Moore films, this one is definitely the best. After two rather mediocre outings (Live and Let Die and the Man with the Golden Gun), they finally got it right with this one. Overall, Moore's film are usually mediocre, but this one sure stands out.
this is the perfect formula for a bond film and defo ranks as one of the best bond movies. its got everything...a spectacular precredits scene (which heralded the big openings for future bond movies) , a dazzling oscar nominated theme tune, cool music score. memorable villians in stromberg and even more memorable henchman , Jaws, glamourous bond women, good (maj.amasova) bad (naomi), great action scenes, a impressive hideout in atlantis and of course the lotus esprit!!
You got that right! It is well put together as well. It is very 1977, still timeless.. It is to me, in a way, a celebration of a wonderful and exiting world. I think too often that is "forgotten". (Ofcourse there is war, hunger etc..) But we allso have Champagne, beautiful girls, lovely places, exiting situations.. 10/10 :)
This film got it all.. It is impressive in all the ways possible, and there is no blood. And most of all, it makes me laugh, bechause it is so Bonds world. Who else gets a chopter firing at you, and it is the hottest lady around?!!! hehe, loooovely
This def had the best bond girl in it. Wow, just wow.
