Translated perfectly into the King James Bible, that Koine Greek text reads: "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17).
KJVO people, please listen. Yes, the KJV is great and may very well be the most accurate among other things. But you must remember that many people have a hard time understanding much of it and eventually will stop reading it. It is better that they use another version than nothing at all. There are many people who grew up frustrated with the KJV, and when they read another version, the lights went on! They get excited about God's word. Isnt that better than being so dogmatic about the KJV?!
@bradfordpestservices Like all the "modern versions" in the last 50 years or so, the NKJV eliminated the distinction between second-person singular and plural in the Holy Scriptures.
There were many subtle inaccuracies in that work as well, but no one in 400 years has ever proven a factual "error" in the inerrat King James Bible.
As VegasKJV wrote, "...to verify the text. The translators used all available PURE language manuscripts to produce the Bible. King James was wise enough, and his translators too, to recognize the many corruptions made by the apostate Greek Orthodox church (Acts 8:37, 1 John 5:7) so they used other texts when the Greek was faulty. KJB's 'Original Greeke' was a response to the confusion brought about by the proliferation of many conflicting Greek texts."
@boggymark1 I think KJVO people also tend to forget most of the KJV was Tyndale's work. KJVO people should stop talking about the translators so much and give Tyndale the credit where credit is due.
As courag1 put it, "By Protestants deeming that those who perished in the flames as martyrs, unjustly and unmercifully killed, it did more than anything to show men to rely on Scripture and not on men or governments. By this time with growing literacy, the evil deeds of the popes and the Inquisition were widely known in England."
No factual "error" in the inerrant King James Bible has ever been proven in 400 years.
@boggymark1 Ive been on all sides of the Bible version issue. I've researched, compared, prayed and about everything else you can think of. In the end I stopped listening to people's opinions and let God the Holy Spirit/Ghost tell me what I should do. In the end I concluded the KJV is the most accurate from the purest transcripts(based on facts, not feelings), but the Spirit let me know its ok to also read from other versions if I hear better from the Lord through them, so I did.
King James VI of Scotland and I of England was saved by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ alone and lived a godly life, much of it devoted to Biblical scholarship. That is basically why so many fanatical occultists, unregenerate popish Romanists, atheists, and other lost and blind heathen hate even the mention of his regal name.
As jjpetkusiii put it, "The publication of the inerrant AV1611, commonly called the King James Bible, was the crowning event of his brilliant reign."
@boggymark1 Im trying to not look so deep into the Bible version issue. Its fried my head. Honestly, I havent found a version perfect for me. I dont understand alot of KJV. NKJV borrows too much from the Alexandrian manuscripts. Some versions have major contradictions. Others are missing words that turn Jesus into a liar. On and on. In the end, i like to read from several versions. Ive tried KJVO. Didnt work. Ive tried and tried to stick to one version. Never works.
@bradfordpestservices I have looked as translations in other languages, but in English nothing comes close enough to the King James Bible to satisfy me for long.
Some Christians may need help with the Jacobean usage here and there, but without that wording the accuracy of the Holy Scriptures in English would be lost. Nothing is missing in the AV1611.
The language of the King James Bible is even better than Shakespeare, but is its "Elizabethan" idiom a problem for you at times, Brother?
@bradfordpestsrvices Thank you for your sincere reply, Brother, and you are not alone.
I am not skilled as a teacher, and teaching and preaching are not my spiritual gifts. I have met many American Christians who have the same experience that you describe, however, and I do urge them not to give up.
There are lists of words that seem old-fashioned and are explained there, and the "-est" ending denotes second-person singular. Similarly "thou" and "thee" just mean one of you.

@randywatchingbush I don't seek out totally bogus popish propaganda or irrational slanders of the dead.
Here are the historical facts: The greatest of the Stuart monarchs was the father of eight children UNLIKE YOU by his beloved wife, Anne of Denmark, to whom he wrote love poetry. A serious Biblical scholar, King James VI of Scotland and I of England led a godly life and reigned in peace.
Of course, there are no "errors" in the inerrant King James Bible, but where will you spend eternity?
You know what my favourite thing in the world is? I'll tell you. Each week, millions & millions of upper middle class American citizens put on expensive dress clothes, and load themselves into SUV's & drive past homeless shelters, orphanages, prisons, missions, & halfway houses on their way to an expensive & nice church, where somebody tells them how to be more like Jesus. That is friggin' awesome, I tell you.
@candied I see where you're coming from. Many people are like that, but i personally know people who are just the opposite and reach out to the less fortunate all the time
@bradfordpestservices I wish there were more people like that... Instead, I see many people looking down on the less fortunate. It seems that so many people are much more concerned about saving their own souls.
When you take into account that, contrary to what they allege-that being that the versions since the kjv-are just revisions of the kjv into more modern english, and come to find out otherwise, that should say something to start with. There are several changed words, removed words, and several whole verses removed. Then it is found that a totally different text is used than that used for the kjv.
Those who follow the doctrine that the King James Bible is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice and believe that translation alone is without error seem to be guilty of idolatry....worshipping a translation. And of course by believing this they show their final authority is not the Bible, beause the Bible does not address the issue of various translations. Ultimately their authority is extrabiblical and cultic.
@prairiemark Any idiot can tell the Authorized version(KJV) is the real Bible. When a version does for 400 years what the KJV has done for mankind, its obvious its God's word. These modern "bibles" are a joke. Mistakes all over the place. Some unintentional, some deliberate as a satanic agenda. Loving the KJV isnt idolizing anything but the purity of God's words. It's loving and appreciating the translators who had no dark agenda at all, only wanted to translate God's word into beautiful language
@bradfordpestservices You are not addressing the issue at hand....that the central doctrine of KJO cultists is extrabiblical. The teaching that one version is better than another is not found in the Bible. It is a manmade doctrine. Also if you read the prologue written by the KJV translation team. They did not think theirs was the only translation that should be read. They encouraged readers to have more than one translation and not to rely on the KJV only. You appear to be confused.
@prairiemark So using common sense has to be found in the Bible also? Or else it is man-made doctrine? Im not so sure that KJVO are idolizing the KJV. I think they're defending the obvious best english version against KJV haters and attackers. The facts prove the KJV is the best. Defending the KJV isn't idolizing the version, its idolizing God. Now if KJVO are buying a bunch of KJV's and hanging them on the wall or something, then yeah, thats idolizing.
@bradfordpestservices Feelings are a part of worship. I am glad you have good feelings when you worship and when you read the KJV. I think the KJV is acceptable. I use it sometimes. However it is not obviously the best version. Defending the KJV version is not idolizing it....you are right. But if you say it is the only version acceptable and the other versions carefully translated from the best manuscripts by translation teams of experts are Satans Bibles, then you may be worshipping it.
@bradfordpestservices Yea those "modern bibles" do have some weaknesses. The KJV1611 at least contained the 6 books of the Bible the Puritan Printers later removed in the 1620s.
The king of England had the exclusive right to authorize printing of the Bible after the Authorized version came out......Until independence from England came the residents of North American could not even reproduce the Bible without the Kings O.K.
@prairiemark No kidding? I often wonder why it took 7 years for the KJV translators to practically just revise Tyndale's work. Did they do more changes to it than we think? I looked at the Geneva Bible and didn't see much difference in the KJV. I often wonder if all this time we all spend on this subject isnt a form of idolizing in itself. I find myself thinking more about version differences than what God is telling me in His word. Are the word differences so much that it could screw us up?!
@prairiemark I think you know they were isolated alone between the OT and NT until eventually being removed altogether. The pope had standing orders to kill anyone found with a bible not containing them. He had them inserted in the Roman Catholic OT as though they were canon. I think you know this. I have seen jjpetkusiii hand you your hat in rather grand fashion. I know you know this.
@AnotherBroMark The Pope had little to do with the content of the Authorized version. The Church of England ceased to be Catholic. Henry the 8th divorced his wife, had her killed and declared their daughter illegitimate. Then he became leader of the new protestant church. When the king was the leader of the church they allowed only authorized versions to be printed....even in the colonies people were not legally allowed to reproduce the Bible without the kings O.K. Only
@prairiemark Yeah im a little baffled as to why the KJV translators would include the apocrypha books because those books aren't considered scripture by protestants. KJVO people go on and on about the KJV being perfect, but Ive never met one who thinks the apocrypha should be included. The KJV translators obviously thought it should, so KJVO people should be using the apocrypha if they are true KJVO supporters.
@bradfordpestsrvices The title page of the AV1611 made it clear that the Holy Bible consisted of the Old Testament and the New Testament. Every Protestant in England who could read in any language at that time knew that, and so did the King James Bible translators, of course.
The "Apocrypha" was printed in a separate section, like the dedication, and was not considered to be Scripture, any more than the title page was. The very word "apocrypha" tells us that it is not part of the Biblical text.
@boggymark1 The KJV may very well be the most accurate, but i often find myself leaning towards the NKJV because the verses are much clearer. Outdated/obsolete or words that have changed meaning are now replaced with today's words/meaning. I also like the words referring to Deity capitalized (Mediator, Yours, His, Me, etc). The NKJV also packs a pretty good punch regarding its spiritual power while reading, i believe due in part to its not missing verses and not "watered down"
@bradfordpestservices Thanks for your thoughtful reply, but the NKJV is a pale imitation of the inerrant AV1611 at its best.
It is a sucker punch in terms of its impact, by the way, since its venal translation committee made thousands of "changes" just so that they could get a copyright.
No doubt, Satan was thrilled at their success: "Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind" (1Peter 5:2)
I love the feel of the KJV words with the organ music and the stained glass windows. It has a more majestic feel. Nothing like many churches these days with the rock band style of music and modern corrupted Bibles. I need to find me a KJV only church.
@AnotherBrotherMark I wonder what a guy like you thinks he is accomplishing by posting online so much. Do you ever interact in an intelligent manner? Do you ever look at intelligent people who see the cultic elements in your belief system and even for a minute wonder if you should reconsider? Or do you view yourself so supperior you can just call someone who has come to a different conclusion a "jackass" and go on your merry way?
@prairiemark Well...can you interact in an intelligent way? Or just continue to be disrespectful and generally a pain in the butt to thoughtful people? I am visually impaired and have some nerve damage in my hands....if I miss a spelling once in a while forgive me. The truth is I spelled words wrong sometimes even before my health problems. Correct spelling is a kind of rote learning anyway.....not a higher form of thought.
@prairiemark Well, for me, the music and the words being spoken have alot to do with how the Holy Spirit is present or not. Im a little old fashioned i reckon. I just cant see God pleased with AC/DC style music played at church as so many churches are doing these days. How can we feel the Holy Spirit in such settings?! As for the words, I think the KJV english is better because its more reverant. I dont think the Bible was meant to be read like a comic book, which is how modern Bibles are.
That church really needs to be carefull with it if they truly value it.The mistake they make in this video is the way they are handleing it.They need to use rubber gloves because the oil in a persons hands will cause discoloration to the paper.Any book collector will spot this right away.and these ministers should put this bible into an airtight bag and braw out the air with a vacuum....immediately.This is how the declaration of independence has been preserved these past many years.
@GrandInquisitor7 = Westboro Cult Wanna Be. FACT: 99.9999999 percent of decent, good Christians despise your cult and the way it manipulates the Bible to fit your agenda of hate. Prove me wrong or STFU.
@GrandInquisitor7 You are impersonating a True Christian. Prove to me that True Christians DON'T despise you and your Nazi loving child abusing cult. PROVE IT, IMPERSONATOR.
amazing great i wish i had one to have a king james bible never mind i could not even understand the word writen in ti so i will stay with the modern king james but still great
@WayOfTheMaster454 A known mistake in earlier editions showing it to be original...just like your attempted hack at spelling..
Gethsemane (Greek Γεθσημανἰ, Gethsēmani Hebrew:גת שמנים, Aramaic:גת שמני, Gath-Šmânê, Assyrian ܓܕܣܡܢ, Gat Šmānê, lit. "oil press") is a garden at the foot of the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem most famous as the place where, according to Biblical texts, Jesus and his disciples are said to have prayed the night before Jesus' crucifixion.
Jesus is the word of God in the new covenant. He died to send back the Holy Ghost. This is how He writes His laws in our hearts and minds by God's Spirit.
King James 6/1566, 6th of Scotland, aurhorized 66 books to keep us under the curse of the law.
@BIBLEisMARKofBEAST King James was 6th of Scotland add 1st of England = 7 and there are 70 books in the Holy Bible (you forgot to read that the book of Psalms is sectioned off in the KJB to 5 books not 1)
@BIBLEisMARKofBEAST very very wrong, you just do not know how 2 read it. For 1 thing the Bible (Torah) is for black people people of haiti, Jamacia, mexicans,Puerto ricans all south americans. Mainly them of the trans atlantic slave trade. Read Deuteronomy 27th mainly 28th chapter (Slavery) Deut 28:68 << Egypt again by ships
@BIBLEisMARKofBEAST soooooo.... how will they put this on my hand or my forehead??? How will they keep me from buying anything without it???? silly silly stuff man. your in a microcasm of false doctrine, get out. be free in Jesus the Christ. The very book you condemn says that we are not under the Law. So yet again, your logic is not making to much sense.
Neat stuff Bro. Mark. Thanks for posting man. LOL @ edward, yeah, how could he possibly read that? Seems like people who think they need an updated version assume King James believers are the foolish ones. Isn't it really the other way around ? I mean. I graduated high school with a C in english and I can understand it .* facepalm* ...Admittedly there are concepts that are hard to understand but before that I remember reading verses in sunday school before I was 10 in gradeschool and understood
Good evening Mark I hope you are welll. Thanks for you research and showing this video.
What a marvelous find. Since you are close, I hope one day you might be able to view this Bible first hand.
I was aware that Miles Coverdale's "Great Bible" had been chained to pulpits in England. I was not aware that the King James Bible was also chained to the Pulpit.
This is unbelievable when put up against some life's work. It shreds to the very core of their argument for modern translations from the Alexandrian manuscripts.
@edwardpf123 You said: "Hey, how is that guy able to read that so easily! We all know that the 'original' 1611 would be impossible to read!"
If you study up on the English language as it was used in the time of the KJV translators, then the 1611 is hard to read but not impossible as you claim. :)
@boggymark1 They are struggling to simply stay open. There are 91 without a pastor. The laymen are being trained up to lead their congregations and women are taking the pulpit. If they found one I don't expect it would matter much. American Presbyterians are openly worse off faggot-wise. I know they use every fashion of translation and the fruit is born.
That is really a sad narrative, Brother, but I've heard some of it before from a missionary that our local chruch supported who resided near Edinburgh and ministered across the UK. He ministers in the USA now for the most part.
I'm glad the we have the inerrant King James Bible which we can understand in our native language as regenerated believers in the Lord Jesus Christ by His grace and to His glory.
Thank you, my old friend, for sending me this amazing documentary.
Thank you also, Brother Mark from Edinburgh, for uploading this video almost foul full centuries after the publication to the AV1611, the fully reliable final authority in all matters for the English-speaking peoples.
"The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven timesThou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever" (Ps 12:6ff).
@boggymark1 CORRECTION: My prior post should have read, "...almost FOUR full CENTURIES after the publication of the AV1611..."
"For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled" (Matthew 5:18).
The Lord Jesus Christ also said, "Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away" (Mark 13:31).
This discovery marks the Ladociean Age of apostasy perfectly......the Book was there the whole time sitting under their noses in the "back" of the church all along and then when they found it they didn't know whether to believe it.
@husky394xp I was talking with a brother who lives in Oxford of all places and he was informed by a leader in a local church there that the NIV is the bible they use. That about floored me.
Great story!

Ultimately their authority is extrabiblical and cultic.
prairiemark 4 months ago
@prairiemark Any idiot can tell the Authorized version(KJV) is the real Bible. When a version does for 400 years what the KJV has done for mankind, its obvious its God's word. These modern "bibles" are a joke. Mistakes all over the place. Some unintentional, some deliberate as a satanic agenda. Loving the KJV isnt idolizing anything but the purity of God's words. It's loving and appreciating the translators who had no dark agenda at all, only wanted to translate God's word into beautiful language
bradfordpestservices 2 months ago
@bradfordpestservices You are not addressing the issue at hand....that the central doctrine of KJO cultists is extrabiblical. The teaching that one version is better than another is not found in the Bible. It is a manmade doctrine. Also if you read the prologue written by the KJV translation team. They did not think theirs was the only translation that should be read. They encouraged readers to have more than one translation and not to rely on the KJV only. You appear to be confused.
prairiemark 2 months ago
@prairiemark So using common sense has to be found in the Bible also? Or else it is man-made doctrine? Im not so sure that KJVO are idolizing the KJV. I think they're defending the obvious best english version against KJV haters and attackers. The facts prove the KJV is the best. Defending the KJV isn't idolizing the version, its idolizing God. Now if KJVO are buying a bunch of KJV's and hanging them on the wall or something, then yeah, thats idolizing.
bradfordpestservices 2 months ago
@bradfordpestservices Feelings are a part of worship. I am glad you have good feelings when you worship and when you read the KJV. I think the KJV is acceptable. I use it sometimes. However it is not obviously the best version. Defending the KJV version is not idolizing it....you are right. But if you say it is the only version acceptable and the other versions carefully translated from the best manuscripts by translation teams of experts are Satans Bibles, then you may be worshipping it.
prairiemark 2 months ago
@bradfordpestservices Yea those "modern bibles" do have some weaknesses. The KJV1611 at least contained the 6 books of the Bible the Puritan Printers later removed in the 1620s.
prairiemark 2 months ago
The king of England had the exclusive right to authorize printing of the Bible after the Authorized version came out......Until independence from England came the residents of North American could not even reproduce the Bible without the Kings O.K.
prairiemark 4 months ago
@prairiemark No kidding? I often wonder why it took 7 years for the KJV translators to practically just revise Tyndale's work. Did they do more changes to it than we think? I looked at the Geneva Bible and didn't see much difference in the KJV. I often wonder if all this time we all spend on this subject isnt a form of idolizing in itself. I find myself thinking more about version differences than what God is telling me in His word. Are the word differences so much that it could screw us up?!
bradfordpestservices 2 months ago
Guess it had the apocryphal books if it was an original KJV Bible.
prairiemark 4 months ago
@prairiemark I think you know they were isolated alone between the OT and NT until eventually being removed altogether. The pope had standing orders to kill anyone found with a bible not containing them. He had them inserted in the Roman Catholic OT as though they were canon. I think you know this. I have seen jjpetkusiii hand you your hat in rather grand fashion. I know you know this.
AnotherBroMark 4 months ago
@AnotherBroMark The Pope had little to do with the content of the Authorized version. The Church of England ceased to be Catholic. Henry the 8th divorced his wife, had her killed and declared their daughter illegitimate. Then he became leader of the new protestant church. When the king was the leader of the church they allowed only authorized versions to be printed....even in the colonies people were not legally allowed to reproduce the Bible without the kings O.K. Only
prairiemark 4 months ago
@prairiemark Yeah im a little baffled as to why the KJV translators would include the apocrypha books because those books aren't considered scripture by protestants. KJVO people go on and on about the KJV being perfect, but Ive never met one who thinks the apocrypha should be included. The KJV translators obviously thought it should, so KJVO people should be using the apocrypha if they are true KJVO supporters.
bradfordpestservices 4 months ago
@bradfordpestsrvices The title page of the AV1611 made it clear that the Holy Bible consisted of the Old Testament and the New Testament. Every Protestant in England who could read in any language at that time knew that, and so did the King James Bible translators, of course.
The "Apocrypha" was printed in a separate section, like the dedication, and was not considered to be Scripture, any more than the title page was. The very word "apocrypha" tells us that it is not part of the Biblical text.
boggymark1 1 month ago
@boggymark1 The KJV may very well be the most accurate, but i often find myself leaning towards the NKJV because the verses are much clearer. Outdated/obsolete or words that have changed meaning are now replaced with today's words/meaning. I also like the words referring to Deity capitalized (Mediator, Yours, His, Me, etc). The NKJV also packs a pretty good punch regarding its spiritual power while reading, i believe due in part to its not missing verses and not "watered down"
bradfordpestservices 1 month ago
@bradfordpestservices Thanks for your thoughtful reply, but the NKJV is a pale imitation of the inerrant AV1611 at its best.
It is a sucker punch in terms of its impact, by the way, since its venal translation committee made thousands of "changes" just so that they could get a copyright.
No doubt, Satan was thrilled at their success: "Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind" (1Peter 5:2)

Correct spelling is a kind of rote learning anyway.....not a higher form of thought.
prairiemark 4 months ago
@prairiemark Well, for me, the music and the words being spoken have alot to do with how the Holy Spirit is present or not. Im a little old fashioned i reckon. I just cant see God pleased with AC/DC style music played at church as so many churches are doing these days. How can we feel the Holy Spirit in such settings?! As for the words, I think the KJV english is better because its more reverant. I dont think the Bible was meant to be read like a comic book, which is how modern Bibles are.
bradfordpestservices 2 months ago
That church really needs to be carefull with it if they truly value it.The mistake they make in this video is the way they are handleing it.They need to use rubber gloves because the oil in a persons hands will cause discoloration to the paper.Any book collector will spot this right away.and these ministers should put this bible into an airtight bag and braw out the air with a vacuum....immediately.This is how the declaration of independence has been preserved these past many years.

WayOfTheMaster454 6 months ago

If you study up on the English language as it was used in the time of the KJV translators, then the 1611 is hard to read but not impossible as you claim. :)

By the way, have they found any copies of the original AV1611 in small Scottish kirks?
boggymark1 11 months ago
@boggymark1 They are struggling to simply stay open. There are 91 without a pastor. The laymen are being trained up to lead their congregations and women are taking the pulpit. If they found one I don't expect it would matter much. American Presbyterians are openly worse off faggot-wise. I know they use every fashion of translation and the fruit is born.
