The truth to this scene, is sad and relieving at the same time. I feel so incredibly blessed that I never had those feelings within myself, that I knew I was gay from a very early age, and my entire family and friends have been supportive of who I am my whole life. I am looking forward to a time when the ideas of how oppressed she may feel are so far behind us as society that we look back and scoff at the kind of people that used to carry the majority.
