The collection is not mine, i got the pictures off the gopher history website. I started getting interested in the Gophers, during the NHL lockout. Here in England, in the absense of NHL hockey, we were shown NCAA college hockey instead and i started following the Gophers then. I am planning a trip to minneapolis this season to attend some games.

Since the Red Sox won the World Series in 2004, everyone's team now has "nation" after it.
Who would've thought that beating the Yankee's and winning the World Series would lead to this trend?
