  • How did you get published? What advertising methods did you use?

  • well thanks, its a start

  • sorry for asking this but can you tell me what game(s) you guys have made and what is your team called

  • your videos are ace makes computer game programming even more appealing for me. Thats cool you got a team together, did you find that you learnt to make games faster from other members of team alongside your own skills? I love games programming, i do it as a hobby alongside my dullass job!

  • its sad how the views went down by like 80,000 ... I guess 1/4 of us still have hopes and are at least TRYING to learn so we can get motivated and knowledge to become game designers ourselves :P

  • A friend dumped C++ 24 hours, 3d game programming with C++, maya 2

computer game programming with directX 8.0 and a few others on my lap to help me get my start in Programming in C++. i've been using C++ for dummies since December 2008, and for the life of me I couldn't understand why I didn't get any where, but then a friend who is neck deep in game development, gave me his books, and even though they're old, I'm studying sams 24 hours day after day, C++ for dummies is a bad book, don't buy

  • Hmm, it really depends on the project. Game Design on a small game you can have an entire design dock done, mabey not code wise. But on what you're working on Elysian Shadows, you'll probably be using a more progressive style on design, where design change when it needs to along side while developing the code.

  • I learned a lot...

    Thanks.

  • Blitz basic isn't free.. :\

  • Thank you for taking the time to share with us that are interested on the subject. I gathered a lot of useful information. Kudos.

  • i watched your videos.. as i want to learn how to program ... but your videos ddint show, teach, or lead me in any direction.. wasted my time

  • @kernal69er

This is a how to START, not how to become a game programmer. If you consider 15 minutes of actually VERY useful information as a waste of time... I don't know what to say. You're going to need to spend much more time than that on things that may not appear to be useful immediately if you're ever going to get anywhere. There are already plenty of tutorials for say, C++ out there. The game programming part doesn't start until you've already got the programming part down anyways.

  • "She's not an asshole like I am". ahaha... You're not man. At least you shared your knowledge with ppl. Great vids btw.

  • I've been planing out a mmo (Zombie mmo) for a month now, writing down information on notepads likes stats, items, tnls and everything with no programming experience. My goal was to just have the game planned out now, go to college for 3-4 years and while i'm at college program what I know and then after I get out of college, get a hold of a team. I still think its a good idea and even though the game will take at least 4+ years to make, having it all planned out is not really a bad thing.

  • I know these videos are old, but I'd like to take some time to thank you. I've dropped in and out of the programming world for several years now. I used to code in DS for a silly Furcadia game when I was a kid. After becoming a Linux user I started scripting day and night. Over the past year I've become interested in making games. I've never followed a project all the way through. You've made me take second look at what I'm doing. I think I'll finish my old projects before I start a new one.

  • @JinxXiWolf Holy SHIT! We got started here with DragonSpeak on Furcadia when we were like 10 and 11!

  • @GyroVorbis That's awesome! Furcadia was entry drug into programming. I loved all the things you could do with DragonSpeak. Hell, I didn't even really know I was programming for the first couple weeks; I was just having fun! 10 years later, and here we are! :D

  • Fantastic job man...lot of info for the beginners...carry on the good work..!!!

  • Hey thanks man, I worked a few semesters with C++ never understood the concepts very well till my last semester in microprocessors where my professor explained the ideas with the SPIN language on propeller tool a lot better then my C++ professor, I understand the concepts now a lot better, and you're videos inspired me to go back to C++ and try to relearn it. Glad I kept my C++ books.

  • @GyroVorbis Actually, as I am informed, it takes about 100+ people to make a killer game, and it takes a long time just to decide on the design of the game.

  • thanks thanks thanks thanks thanks thanks thanks thanks thanks thanks

You open my gate to paradise.

  • you are really appreciable friend... you are doing good job.... actually great job... It is nothing greater than guiding people and helping them... I wish you best of luck for your own goals... Thanks you so much.

  • Dude i will throw a rock through your window, wait in the bushes like a stalker to see if you come out of your house and butt monkey you cause thats how smart you are.

  • I've never even programmed a VCR but after hearing your remarks, I feel confident I will be able to program a simple game.

  • great videos mate .. i totally agree with you :D i'm not yet that experienced but i'm getting there ( 1.5 years c++ , 1 year blitz3d and barelly started with DarkBasic Pro , looking into DarkGDK)

  • Thanks, now I won't run into those problems down the road. I understand what game making truly means now.

  • You know what I'll give it a shot. I'll attempt pac man or even a clone of an old megaman game. maby in a few years I'll be able to make something that I think is kick ass (and other people can laugh at it lol)

  • I just started learning SDL and just got some of the basics down so i don't know too much about programming.

You said that it was very hard to use C++ only and that people should use a library like SDL or OpenGL etc, though im not too old i am thinking about working in the game development industry.

I have seen some companys make their own library for each game, but then they will most likely use C++ only, is it not too hard for a good programmer or is it just them who are amazing programmers?

  • im having trouble trying to get graphics to the screen using C++. i have played around with dark GDK, but i can't seem to do certain things that i can do with Iostream in C++. eg, print text to the screen (dose not work with a background in gdk) and i cant inculde IOtream as well as darkGDK....

any tips on what (libraries?) i should be learning and how to use in C++ for graphics, and maybe going onto making game physics?

ive googled things but there is so much! where do i start !?

    thanks

  • @steakfacetothemax

I am using DarkGDK with C++, if you want to understand how to use DarkGDK better try borrow a copy of darkbasic classic/pro and start using the basic language to make something as there are alot of similarities between it and how the api operates.

  • wow that helped me a lot, a down to earth video i like it. I thought i was just dumb and couldn't figure it out in a day. Thanks for posting this video, this has motivated me to keep at it.

  • F### who ever said u is a cheap whore even christ was hated on back in the day u feel me dude

  • watched all your videos. I appreciate you taking time to talk to us newbees. It helps. Look forward to following your advice.

  • How realistic is it to pursue a decent understanding of programming, yet focus on aspects which relate to design, story, soundtrack composition, etc? I'd like to do programming, but would rather focus on the artistic and story driven aspects as a primary. When I say artistic, I mean stuffing graphic design (apart from simplistic design like P.S. and Illustrator) and working more with music comp, because that and the story is where I truly lie. Programming is good, but more secondary. Also...

  • great advice... hard to follow... so tempting to get reward about what you are going to do with out any effort. Recognition for doing what you actually achieve is so much more rewarding though. Great vids.

  • Watched all the videos, subscribed for such good information. Game Development has always been a thing I wanted to get into but never knew where to start. Your videos helped me achieve the first step.

    Thanks, Derek.

  • hey man! thanks for you vids but was wondering wht type of comp do you use? would a mac-book be sufficient enough????

  • hey Man forgot your name Damian, Dave... iduno ??? but was wondering why type of comp. are you using would a mac-book be sufficient enough????? and thanks for your vids really helpful.

  • Thank you so much! you are by far the best on youtube! i'm subed to a c++ video maker and i taken some classes in high school on java script and html.

    Okay.....

i wish to make a fighter with transformation after meeting a set criteria. example:

My heath is low and i can use a speacl move that allows me to transform to boost

my HP and give me more fighter power.

Do i need c++? kinda like ppg battle in megavill but with a better fighting system and transformations. sorry i know you work all d

  • dude u kinda cool man. yeah, u cool

  • @GyroVorbis: I have a question. I program games like pinball or simple Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest like RPG but I keep borrowing or downloading pictures I have no original design(Because I sucks a designing). Is it okay if I continue with that. And also I'm using VISUAL BASIC(that the language I know now HEHEHE :P).

  • thank you the first and second vid actually helped alot and also im still new but i wanna start small like tetris and i was wondering with the block shapes and all how do i like bring that into the game ty and reply plz

  • i took me a year to learn c++, i've been with opengl for about 6 months, but i dont have any ideas lol, i just make a litle car moving and destroying boxes . well this videos really help me.

  • Thanks Gyro

    your videos are really informative..

hope 2 develop some games soon..:)

  • @GyroVorbis

Dude..These videos helped me a lot and gave me a lot of confidence to start learning C++ and to create a very simple game in future.I 've chosen the tough way coz i'm interested to learn more about 2d math,OpenGL and stuffs like that...I do 've basic programming knowledge in C,Python and Mel(Maya)...I'm a shader writer and 3D technical artist. But,I always wanted to create my own very simple game.I prefer C++.Thanks for all your supports and the "Elysian Shadows" TEAM..Cheers!!

  • I just wanted to know where you learned to program. Did you go to school for it or did someone teach you? Or did you teach yourself with books and tutorials?

  • Again you speak the truth... please keep these videos up.

  • hey, I dont want to be here "viewer poaching" or anything but I watch all of your videos an got into game design, take a look at the game we are making if you want to! :) OmuniOnline thanks, again, I'm not trying to steal your viewers just to let your know that your videos inspired me to game design!

  • @CompoundSkating Your insistence that youre not viewer poaching makes me think thats exactly what youre trying to do... lol

  • I really like your opinions and advice, thanks very much for sharing! If only the sound was better it would be perfect!

As for the SDL tuts in the description, I really recommend SDLTutorials. com, I personally think it's very pedagogic and easy - and fun!! - to follow. Moreover it's with OOP (if I remember correctly, lazyfoo's tuts weren't), and the site's really user friendly. I hated SDL til I found that site and cried happy tears and lived happily ever after :P

  • hi, i have a great idea for a game which could make millions ;)! but dont know any about programming, so contact me if ýou wanna start a little project!

  • Comment removed

  • O HEYO THERE! I see you don't know how to program. That's okay, because my team will put in the countless months of bleeding in front of a computer screen, and all you have to do is waltz around our studio and shoot ideas at us!..

If I had a nickel for every time I saw this. Kid, there are thousands of people who have ideas 'which can make millions'. Anyone can sit at home for a couple days and come up with an amazing game idea. But making it is a different story. So please kid... shut up.

  • @Soap360 haha why the hate? because you have all the programming skillz but cant come up with a great idea?! believe me i am not one of those who only talk about what thy could have done and could become! i know its naive but i gotta start somewhere/somehow,right? if you know a better way to come in contact with a porgrammer please tell me??

  • Thanks man. You really motivate me and I have learned a lot..Keep up the good work.

  • Cheers for this series of videos, ill watch some more laters, a good insight to game development.

  • It took me 10 years to learn all the important lessons in your three vids. Fantastic work. This Part III video should have the same amount of views that part one has. That means that the people who did not watch part II and III haven't got a hope in hell. Lastly, I would suggest Python as a great language to learn the logic of programming rather than a game specific language. In the meantime, you can make paper versions of your games for testing if possible and use Excel for number crunching.

  • i realy want to become an game desingner/developer and i wonder if there are any free game makers with good 3d functions

  • Im sure you've heard of 3DBuzz.com , a website which has sample classes for multiple areas of game development from C++ to Maya...

  • i knew more about it after i watched this vid than befor

  • 4:19 --->"I'm sorry I'm not a cheap whore, I'm not gonna be doing that. Uhmm, but I'll answer any other questions, so I guess I'm still a whore, but...just not that kind"- LOL that's one of the funniest I've heard you say!!

And all your videos are a great inspiration to me so keep them coming!!!

  • These videos are really great. I don't know why some jerks just speak out of their ass, saying a lot of shit about Gyro's videos. Keep doing this, Gyro, and just ignore the negative people.

  • i really like your video and it help me a lot thanks . after watching your vid i looked for blitz basik but i still could not find it after looking for 4 days on google . so if you make another video could u please make a link to the site for blitz basik. and thankyou agian for makeing those videos

  • i watch all the vdo, it IS awesome, keep doning it, don't fuckin care about those guys at bottom who always do a bad comment to others. THANK YOU VERY MUCH,, I GET WAY TOWARDS MY CAREER,

  • THIS IS A NOOB QUESTION DON'T STONE ME;

I want to get into game development as well. I am starting with Microsoft Visual Basics 2010 Express, because I think it is a good language to learn and get a grasp of things. But, also, to begin, do you think Game Maker 8 would be a good place to start? I know Game Maker is probably not for the serious people, but it is technically a language, and maybe after that I will get more of a grasp on game development and can move to a new engine?

  • i'm novice programmer.... can i use pascal/delphi in gaming programming? give me i suggestion or opinion.. i juz bought a buk title " OOP in Pascal " it covers on how to use opengl lib. in pascal/delphi.... ty

  • is game maker a good place to start?

  • @Darien500 i'm not an experienced game programmer, but i think if you want to start _real_ game developement and you already know some programming language, you should start with c++/sdl or c#/xna. or you can also try directx.

  • iv been learning c++ for 2 months now and i don't know where to find an actual class with a teacher for a good price.

  • Dude, this series of videos was horrible. The title is Game Development: Where to Begin... Where did you actually talk about where to begin with game development? You just spouted off about how people can't do what you do and how other people suck. If your other videos are better, you should take these down or change the title. Now, I don't really want to waste any more of my time so I doubt I will actually watch another video of yours.

  • i downloaded the blitz plus demo its kool once u learn how to use it but then my demo ran out lol i have confidence in c++ evem thoe its gona be wile befor i actualy start making a good game ty man very helpful u just got one mor suber

  • 320kbps where possible.

  • Most likely MP3

  • @auburn722

''anyone will be able to make a game like oblivion in a day but current technology probably meant it took many years. ''

Nah.. I dont think so because if you have an VERY easy ''game design'' program, you are limited. You have to know more then that.

  • It has to be so "complicated" because creating a game these days takes 50+ people, passion, self motivation, skills in everything from hardware engineering and low level programming to algorithms and abstract math on the coding side and insanely talented artists and musicians on the creative side. Consider the fact that it still takes years to make. Now tell me what about that ISN'T complicated?

  • @GyroVorbis

I just wanted to say that I watched all

vids on where to begin and start

i took some good notes and thanks

for the info this really helped me out a

lot so keep up the good work and stay

strong and let the haters keep hating.

  • Thanks, man. I really appreciate it.

  • @GyroVorbis I also just wanted to pipe in that your vid is an excellent resource. Thanks.

  • @auburn722 You sound like a nonprogrammer. Learning a language + IDE + graphics is hard. Actually, in the future, game development will get more complicated, because graphics hardware is only getting more powerful, and more features, so making a good looking game becomes harder because the graphics libraries will become more complex. With this said, even something like mario brothers will take on the order of several thousand man hours to make worthy of showing people.

  • Comment removed

  • @auburn722 I often ask myself the very same question, but everytime the answer is obvious: Even if I was the best game programmer AND the best artist in the world, it doesn't make people want to play my games because I won't necessarily make a great game. Making Oblivion? sure, but then why would people buy a copy of a game that's a copy from another game? It's just like movies. It's easy to get access to pro cameras, but it doesn't mean you can make the next Lord of the Rings with them :P

  • @auburn722 No matter how good our technology is, Programmers will still need to write efficient code that WORKS. This is one reason why it is complicated, and personally it should stay that way. When game programming takes no skill or knowledge that will be the day it dies for me.

  • so i can make a simpel game and i dont

    need a team ??

  • Of course you can make a game without a team, you can make a simple game (like pong) in a few hours without a team. All you have to do is learn and try, you'll get there in the end.

  • How about Ms V C++ 2008 exp edition

and using the Direct X platform, game development really becomes a little less pain in your ass

But really u have to go through a lot of pain of learning the c++ lang

  • i agree with vervth thanks for makin' vids i'm stll in high school (lol)but i have been researchin' game development for a while so um... thanks

  • Thanks a ton for these videos. I actually wanted to make an RPG when I started, so this made me lol. I'm going to see if I can find a free version of blitz basic.

    again, thanks for your help.

  • a lot of talk, no action...Bit disappointing and boring. You say you don't try plan ahead too much your games, but maybe you should plan ahead your videos...Just a suggestion.

I do thank you for trying to help shed the light on game dev.

  • working 10 hours a day.. Tell u one thing... Thanks for Posting your video.. Take some time and Effort to do so.

  • Will you start already!!!!

  • lol @ people wanting him to go though there pages of code.

  • Nice vid, inspirated me to start learning c++. I only see a black command prompt saying something when i make something, wich sucks XD....

  • Thanks a million GyroVorbis. That's wisdom for not only games but life: Start Small.

  • sweet advice dude, im going into video game developement my self :)

  • starting out new, learning how to program WILL kill your motivation and WILL break you down if you let it. You have to be unbelievably passionate about MAKING games to get anywhere in the industry. If you are only interested in the art side and want nothing to do with programming then pursue animation or something visual because the gaming industry wants you to know how to know programming.

  • Great video series!

  • thanks alot :) i sow all u video and i like it . but i have one prablam in my design how i can import my project to the game

  • "I'm not a cheap whore, maybe I am... but, just not that kind." Haha

  • Love you guys, we`re gonna work out (lol) together someday, see ya around ;)

  • Nice advice

  • Thanks for this helpful series, 5 stars!

  • That was helpful !

  • This is what i actually needed. Thanks for the same.Gr8 job!!!

  • What do you suggest on using JAVA for game development and how to start if i want to develop games using JAVA???

  • did you go to school or did you just self study?

  • do you have anything that you might like to say about glut?

  • check out the video of my antfarm simulation I wrote using the Allegro library

  • As someone who has also created games, the most important tip to take away from these videos is this. To make a good video game is approximately equivalent to desparately cramming for final exams (that level of intensity) for 12 hours a day, 6~7 days a week, for a few years. If you are up to that level of dedication, you can work with me or any game developer, and we will consider ourselves lucky. The problem is, only one in one million individuals who say they are this dedicated --- are so.

  • Haha, I really like your analogy. You clearly know what you're talking about. I also came from a very C background and have written in both C and C++. I agree that sometimes getting the job done in straight C is a lot less of a pain in the ass than going all out and object orienting the hell out of things.

  • Very true... oh so very true. Ive got about a year of the hardcore all-nighters under my belt, but I'm nowhere near being done.

  • People just please stop your taking up the whole comment area just arguing, and if all you other people give this comment a thumbs down don't just because you think it's funny to watch people argue. You guys are just getting mad for no reason. Just don't let it bother you and mark there comment as "spam". It's as easy as that.

  • "Read any book on game design." Try DOING game design, instead of reading bullshit philosophies from books. Of COURSE it's going to be good if you try to work features out before you jump in. But like ProgrammInProgress said, any REAL developer would know that you can't foresee everything, you arrogant fuck. Go back to bitching to YOURSELF about DHTML on your channel. You sound like an arrogant little teenager who read some game design book and thinks you know everything.

  • Comment removed

  • Dude, get a fucking life. Yeah, real developers spend their time bitching about DHTML and trolling other peoples' channels. I love how you praised me in my "Previous Projects" video, and you are now pretending to belittle my work. We all know you're 12.

  • Haha wow i love you your so down to earth (Gyro) :p

  • Does it REALLY matter, dude? Maybe you should get a life and stop bothering people with your bullshit.

  • Go fuck yourself. You have obviously never worked on a very large project. If you think that you can plan out every feature before you make a game, you're wrong. 1) You tweak features to make them better. 2) You add more features as you think of them/to fit the gameplay. How about supporting your claims next time, douchebag.

  • I have to disagree, while it's true that you should keep in your mind your final goal, and aims of a project, I put it to you that you cannot complete a project without improving/tweaking adding new features along the way.

say for example, you come up with a design for a sorting algorithm, which does work, but once implemented takes up too much processing time, thus slowing down your application.

if you think theres a way to optimise that algorithm, you're going to do it, its common sense.

  • Who are you talking to? Yourself?

  • NinjaShittingWild

  • lol its probably BJ. thenicelordj is still on the internet, anybody harassing you on this is probably BJ in disguise.

  • Everyone, listen up. I am repeating Falco's tip:

If you have low experience with programming, or nothing at all, you should get BlitzPlus and start with that for game development. I did so, and it helped me so much, and you can move on from there to more complex languages like C/C++ C#... It's such a good tip, and you should follow it. Thanks Falco! :)

  • C# is actually not that complex C/C++ is more complex than C# will ever get

  • I wouldn't necessarily say that. C# is becoming more complex at quick pace, and has a lot of things C++ doesn't (like anonymous functions; lambda expressions that can be manipulated, compiled, and run, all at runtime; extension methods; half-assed type inference; anonymous classes; monads (as linq queries); etc.).

But you're right that C++ is complex.

I'm personally of the opinion that languages should avoid becoming any more complex than necessary.

  • sorry i know this is a bit off topic but im trieing to figure out this one thing in HTML.i know how to do the basic some and other things but i cant seem to find how to put the web page "up"on the web.

its okay if u wont tell me just wondering

    ur not a whore :)

  • Just wached all 3 of your videos. It really feels you have had some real life expierence to share with. And i definitely know what you are talking about.

    Thanks for sharing.

  • i recently subscribed, cool vids . Do you think python is a good language to start out with?

  • thanks for the info

  • haha lusika is a cheap whore then?? JKJK I love her she is awesome! Her games are awesome I subscribed.

  • Comment removed

  • "I am not a cheap whore" LOL! xD you're a cool dood ~

  • Interesting video. You are right about not being too ambitious - it is always better to "cut" things out then add things.

The bigger problem that I see is feature creep and those who either do too little or too much (those who aim at 50% vs. those who aim at 110%).

Another problem I see is too much documentation - I am a firm believer that 1 line of tested and working code is worth 100 lines of documentation.

You also make a great point about the unambitious - ideas are worth nothing.

  • do you have podcasts? Have you thought about making podcasts. Podcasts are a little more suitable for this stuff. Believe it or not I listen to programming podcasts when I am riding bicycle and I get a lot out of it.

  • nice im trying to learn c++ and if i can do that i have the dedication but if i buy say blitzbasic and i cant do it i lose a lot of money i cant earn it that fast so you motivated me thank you and i look forward to seeing your videos when you come out with more.

  • wow.. u actually motivated me 0_o. i started working on a game, looked to far ahead... and then stopped working on it for a while, now ( from watching your ( Where to Begin Part 1-3 videos )) i think i'm gonna work on it again :D. thx very much. lol

  • yes, it is natural then to feel demotivated if you set goals to far off the actual making process. Game programming is about seeing the results embodied ideas. I feel much stronger and clearer now as well.

  • I wish JForce would follow the advice of not ranting on about how awesome they game is when they really have nothing to show. After eleven videos, they just look stupid.

  • thanks for ur help=] u really made me think about some things. ur a big help. make ur own show on G4.

  • Dude you should start your own show- like in G4 or something. You are very helpful and very attractive :D Thank you for your advice. I too have a team and we did exactly what you said not to, and I have killed the momentum of the game. Starting next year I will work on implementing the features and seeing what the game is before saying THIS IS THE GAME !! just like you mentioned. Again thanks man- Heres to 09.

  • There is no offense in calling me gay- when it says it in my name- vdo"gay"mer .

Its like me calling you nutty- should that make you feel bad? Still I wonder why you ask this? Since everyone is allowed to have their own opinions.

  • Yeah, that was a really stupid question. Especially considering most programmers/gamers/developers are liberal leaning. Nobody here cares about sexual orientation. I'm partial to lesbian sex, myself. Shoot me, somebody?

  • Bang Bang :)

  • I see, i was pretty high when i said this comment. I am sorry if you took offense to

this even if you did not say it explicitly. Trust me, I know it must be hard when

(face the fact) a person is something other than "normal" (whatever that means).

    Sorry about the comment.

  • One issue, few question, and I ask because I haven't found an answer anywhere. And it is something I'm most afraid to encounter due to back-track progress it may cause.

When you export/import a Mesh with an applied Mesh-Smooth modifier model to the engine through libraries/codes, does the Mesh-smooth comes along? or is it something you have to put in your engine to work? I have low-poly models that looks good, but with 1 Mesh-smooth interaction they look better.

I dont know if I express it well

  • Thanks man i cant wait till i start my game development course.

  • Thanks for the vids, GV

  • Hey can you tell me the Different between Visual C++ and C++. And which language you were talking about in your Videos ? If you can sent me a youtube message as reply. thank you. Gyro

  • Visual c++ is a program.

    Like dev c++.

    Borland c++.

    C++ is the language.

You can program c++ in Visual c++.

    Sorry, but my english sux.

  • Any questions.. ?? Dude ur awesome and no... ur not an asshole or whore.. :) Great videos, thank you very much now im inspired with making games more than ever! I'm think I'm gonna start with Space Invaders or something simple :) Thank you again! Make more videos CYA

  • I personally got a lot of use out of your videos, and you werent overly using words I havent heard of before. You were funny and very helpful, and I really would like to thank you. So Thank you very much

    -Achillnasa

  • Thanks, I appreciate it. I don't know if you saw, but I made a series of 3 newer videos on the subject as well. I think that they may also be more useful.

  • Hey man, so If I have blitz plus...like what's the difference between the actual game designer and the programmer, isn't the programmer and game designer the same thing, like what makes them different? The programmer handles stuff like triggers? or is that the game designer? little confoozed here.

  • a game designer does a little of everything, plans out the whole game.

a programmer focuses on the code, and how to make the designers ideas happen.

  • These three videos' were very helpful. But i have three questions for you. I learned some html and xhtml languages and i am capable of making a website, so what path do you think should i take, and my second question is, if you think i should use c++, what book or website would you recommend for me. The last question is, can you use dev c++ for the game?
