The quality of this video does not correspond with how good the recording apparatus was in 1990. It's a real shame when you have a colossus like John Bell giving a lecture to have it reproduced so badly. Really this is a crime that can be mitigated only by having an actor reproduce the lecture and have it recorded properly, certainly better than this appalling mess.
Would be interesting, but I can't make out what he's writing on the board, can't hear what he says, and the captions are just going nuts. Is there a version somewhere which isn't youtube-recoded?
This is an invitation to see an artist theory on the physics of light and time!
This theory is based on two postulates
1. Is that the quantum wave particle function Ψ represents the forward passage of time ∆E ∆t ≥ h/2π itself
2. Is that Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle ∆×∆p×≥h/4π that is formed by the w- function is the same uncertainty we have with any future event that we can interact with turning the possible into the actual!
Forgive me if I'm wrong, but isn't Heisenberg's uncertainty Principle;
∆×∆p×≥h/2π
And not;
∆×∆p×≥h/4π
I don't know, so it's just a question asked, not criticism. I've read alot about theoretical and mathematical physics, but I study biomedicin, so it's not really my field. It is however, one of my greatest hobbies, so I'm trying to learn as well as I can :)
@liamciaran HUP can be set up in two ways the uncertainty of position and momentum ∆×∆p×≥h/4π and also uncertainty between energy and time ∆×∆p×≥h/2π. It’s a great hobby to have!
Check out Quantum Atom Theory in this theory quantum physics represents the flow of time itself.
It requires a quantum leap of the mind a Zen like understanding of nothing, to sense the implications of this profound discovery.Imagine what entanglement actually means it is not suprising that only so many have seen this video i would imagine most are physicists I am not or should I say I am a self taught one.My deepest respect to this amazing intellect!
You know,only 1677 views to see this genius speak.Very sad.Bell's theorem, one of the greatest scientific discoveries,and only 1677 people on youtube to see this man speak.Just as a tribute to him,I wanted to see him speak here on youtube.I am a man of science and philosophy,and always pay tribute to the great minds of the past and present,Bell is one of them.

He was a pioneer, although information can be passed by entanglement.
