u need to install it with using the software disc and select ADD NEW PROGRAMS TO MY PC theN go on file explorer select windows and keep scrolling down till u c internet sharing

I did this with a usb cable,mobile phone tools, and the razr. unless you get data plan, its not a smart move.

Ummm, if you haven't found out yet.  The way you are using that is called "Tethering" and IS NOT included in the $20/month data plan. I would hate to see your phone bill.

They don't notice unless you're using an insane amount of data(such as online gaming)on your computer. Then, they would know...because a phone is not capable of that.

About 30 bucks a month for unlimited internet access on your phone,60 bucks a month if you want the internet on your phone and laptop.Great phone all around.If you want a lot of talk time,texting and unlimited data use it's around $100 a month.Worth every penny though,you even get XM radio on it.

actually the air cards for cingular the data plan is $60 a month not $20 like the blackjack smartphone data plan

The speed of the cingular edge network, as you said, was 100kb/s which means it was at a speed of 819.2 Kbps.

A little faster my ass, that is 14.63x faster than standard 56k...nice.
