Can you make one with the balls painted in the color spectrum? I would love to see how each color shifts position when they do the two and three groups effect.
Great!... I'm a great fan of Glass, but I think this would fit betther with music from Phil's buddy Steve Reich... that is because Reich's music uses that principle (composing diferent instruments in different phases, like the balls of that pendulum) as composition technique... Try out a composition like musico for 18 musicians... Anyways, this is amazing!... thanks for share!
I love Philip Glass's music. He's created some amazing music! He's also written music especially for some films, such as Anima Mundi, and the music always fits the scene exactly. He did not write this piece of music for this song, this is just one of his songs as a sound track to this video. It's a good video though :)
@DevillYouth mmm... have you ever been waiting on a red light with your car's blinkers on and noticed other cars' blinkers sometimes lit same time as yours before going out of sync, and then lighting up simultaneously again? something very similar is happening here, but you get to see each pendulum at all times, not just on or off like in your car's directional light, so more interesting "patterns" appear... The fastest oscillating pendulum is in the back and the slowest is up front
@vmcookr87 have you ever noticed when you are brushing your teeth with an electric toothbrush and you look at a digital clock and the numbers bounce up and down? i think its a similar thing here.
The original was a little blurry (at around 480p I think). He edited it and then saved this one in a lossy format (at 360p) resulting in further blur. If you can't see it try putting the image in full screen.
What song is this?

It's good, but next time try reuploading the video without butchering the already questionable image quality.
