@CrackinVTEC666 I like the diesel idea myself, I would imagine the weight would be an issue, maybe a 4cylinder diesel will be an option in the future with loads of power and lighter in weight? How would you get free fuel? bio diesel?

I doubt the tire rack hurts in the real world because of the 42" wheels.... but it really looks like it screws up your departure angles. I would've considered a roof rack, but then you get into the whole center of gravity argument. Anyways, the jeep looks great. & it's not like I can talk - owning a tacoma. Jeeps still got like 10 degree better departure angles.

Hey, I Love that rear tire carrier, did you fabracate it? I run a 1999 TJ - 5" lift - 35x12.5 r15 procomp Xtreme MT's, 4.56 gears, rear ARB air locker... other stuff too :)

those are 42x15-17 Pit Bull Rocker tires (Bias-ply) mounted to Walker Evans Racing 17x8.5 Beadlocks. Currently I have 41.5x13.50-17 Pit Bull Rocker Radials mounted. A huge improvement on pavement vs. the Bias-Ply while still retaining tons of grip for rock crawling.
