  • got me playing 52 pick-up......damn it ! LOL !

  • how do you get back to a normal hand?

  • Fuck all the whiners. If you dont have the patience to sit through a 7 min tutorial youll never have the patience to master these moves.

  • thanks for this ur tips really works for me

  • Comment removed

  • For card flourishes, should I use one of those brand new deck (like the slippery one) or is an older one better?

  • My first try ended up with a game of 52 Pick Up haha

  • music tag is wrong

    Tiesto - Adagio For Strings

  • my cards got a lot of slip so when i do it only the first onr fans out and the rest stay in clumpS :(

  • Very nice tutorial. long enough and well shown.Cant done better.

Just it needs practise. Tutorial is just for how to do it but practis is how well can you do it.

I learnt one day and I got it .

    Thank you !

  • nice dell speakers i got the same =]

  • At a glance I thought this said one handed fun. It's fun, but it's not too usfull, what can you chain it with, the one handed shuffle?

  • @wolfservant5

It's just a flourish that you can do during tricks. You could use it with the butterfly false cut, use it to distract from something you're doing with your other hand. Plenty of things.

  • Dude you rock

  • Thanks man, I can do it now, keep the vids coming :)

  • also the i can get the first few cards to do it perfect and then the est just stick together

  • this is an easy consept yet very hard to do the cards just stick and i opened them before this video i dont get it

  • the cards just sticks and won't spread

  • @tangein same mate :( i wonder if you after buy a certain type of cards

  • @TheJama26 bicycle or tally ho would be the best to buy

  • Ha! As soon as I saw the alternative view I instantly learned this! Thanks a lot! :)

  • wth, some of my cards flew through the window >_>

  • with a good deck of cards they won't stick together .. this is a great tutorial and its easy to learn just requires a lot of practice .. thanks cardshark

  • the cards do not fan they are stuck together

  • @127ahmed Yeah, I got perfectly new bicycle cards, and they like stick together at the beginning of the fan

  • its so infuriating i cant do it

  • Does position of the fingers matter? like where the thumb should be on the card, or how does it pull out?

  • bboyoren im from israel 2 and i agree with u u cant find bicycle cards in israel :S

  • i dont have bicycle cards, so it goes like shit with my regular cards....

its hard to get bicycle cards in israel :(((

  • just make order on them web site mate they will send it to you whitout any problems ;p

  • i find the snapping idea VERY useful because the first time i tried it it worked!!!

its funny tho because i cant seem to fan two handed very well but this way i can do with half a deck.

  • i need more practice... the card will come loose

  • u need a smooth deck like bicycle cards to perform a nice flourish..

  • This is a very helpful video, I've already gotten a lot better...I'm just having a hard time being able to get the cards so evenly distributed. Like in yours you can see every number and on mine some of the cards are being covered. Does it just need practice?

  • the cards i have are too slippery ill go out and get bicycle cards and try again

  • How does he get it all evenly, like reveals all the cards evenly so u can see ace,two etc etc

  • Is on your pc windows movie naker ? :D

  • You don't have to use plastic, it could be your choice. But it is better to have new cards with a smooth finish.

  • are you using plastic covered cards or 100% plastic cards?

  • The BEST one handed fanning tutorial yet. After watching only once, I've gone from picking up scattered cards on the floor to making pretty decent fans. Thanks!

  • first vid of yours ive seen. just hit subscribe button :D

  • if you're like me and you have pretty small hands, practice with 8 cards first, then move to 20, then 30, then 40, then 52. it's much easier, and after like half an hour i went from dropping my cards on the table to doing a perfect flourish fan with the entire deck!

  • nice video thnks a lot...

    are you a magician...

    ^^

  • Great video!! Thanks!!!

  • absolutely perfect video dude, so, so perfect

  • Umm are you using a full deck because i got a full deck of cards here and finding it hard to get it all spread out evenly i mean id need lyk anuva 5 fingers for that ima confused :S

  • Umm also the cards keep flying out my hand :( wtf lol

  • He disregaurds the fact that a good percentage of the population can't snap.....lol including me! But I figured it out anyways. Great tutorials LOVE THEM 5/5

  • i can do it but it doesnt look good because im using a old deck, its sticking together!!T_T i going to buy a new deck lol so i can do again that anaconda dribble XD

  • Hey CardShark88, can you teach us how to do two fans at the same time? You know, the grip and stuff. Thanks a lot

  • Dude, there's no doubt that ur the best on utube! I tried doing a one-handed fan every now and then, and i failed... in a very epic way... but now i can almost do it!!!!

    Thanks soooo much 5/5!!! =)

  • my cards arn't bicycle and they don't spread out like that!! i can't get them to

  • wow seriously i have been working on my fanning tricks and within the first minute of your video i like got them down with ease, turns out i had my thumb in the wrong position. thank you so much!

  • wow I have been working on my fans for a few months now and I have gotten better in just days after watching your vids thanks..

  • I've seen this 2 days ago and i'm practiing on it. The first 5 minutes i started to realized i was improving. Now i can fan half of the deck cards. i'll keep on practicing until i have the same fan sa yours. :) thank you cardshark.

  • hey people that love cards come to this site to chat and blog Cardblogger(dot)ning(dot)com

  • I noticed that if i use my INDEx too , i fail. But still u are the best teacher here on youtube:) Peace out:D

  • i am left with a clump near the end! It's so annoying! What am I doing wrong? oh very good by the way:)

  • excellent! Explained it very well.

  • incredible video really teaches you how to do it still cant reli do it but oh well

  • whats the song called? mint trick

  • Tiesto - Adagio For Strings

  • me to

  • Haha, the moment you said use all your fingers, I was doing them in seconds! Thanks man!

  • cant do it well because i always end up with a big stack of cards on one end and drop the ones by my thumb trying to spread them even more

  • be right back ... gota clean all the cards that i spreaded through my room xD

  • @sfantsfant Me too :D

  • CardShark88 i have kem plastic cards and it is much more difficult to do fans. Then i bought normal cards and my fans are very good but why???

  • Because plastic are only plastic "plates" with random surface wthout quality but with life time

Normal cards are often fan powdered and the surface is same, that means same gliding to every card and its quality made, middle life-time

Guess the plastic one "fanned" in piles ?

  • thanks dude

  • nice, but i can't do it :(

i tried to click my fingers, but it doesn't work.

i haven't got it like you, but they all go another way. some go the side of my thumb and some to the side of my middle finger and some don't do anything :(

    pls help me

  • LMAO i just clickd ma fingers like in 1:00 and now im goin to pick up all the cards thru my room , brb..

  • you are amazing your descriptions were so great it was AMAZINGLY easy!!!!

    thanks so much!

  • omfg. as soon as you said 'if you can click your fingers', i perfected it. 5 stars.

i have dried this many times... but after i watched this tut. i really get in to it and realized how its done =)

  • Thnks Dude.Very easy to learn :D

  • Great tutorial!

  • 06;40 omg

  • omg most awesome tutorial i ever seen !

  • it doesnt go to far.

  • The idea of sliding your thumb across each finger immediately fixed. Thanks alot!

  • The best one handed fan tutorial. 11/10

  • my cards are still cluttering :( what can i do about it? the vid is very clear but when i try it, the main fan shape is there, but with loads of cluttered cards:(

  • first time I tried it... I played a nice good game of 52 card pick up lol.

    Great vid dude

  • I noticed a LOT of these tutorial videos have dance music!!! Thumbs up! LOL AWESOME TRICKS!!!!!

  • Wow. it's so easy. I didnt now i could do it until i saw it

    .

  • pretty basic. This is my second time watching this vid. I just wanted to make I was doing it right. Thanks for all your vids!

  • nice vid this seems a bit stupid really not about the vid but about my control cause when i try the two handed fan i cant do it but i can do the 1 handed fan which is harder so the internet says i can do it reasonably well but all the cards dont show and it doesent clump as much when i do the 1 handed fan so i prefer the 1 handed to the 2 handed much easier and i like the ghost deck and the ice deck ... where can u get it thank you for listening to this comment fanner trainee..........:):):)

  • dude i love your tuts!

  • And That's where you are wrong

because it is quite long it gives you time to practice between moves...

He's one hell of a teacher if you ask me.

  • nice video ! 5*

  • OMG i did it the first time!

    nice tutorials man

  • jeeees i only move like 2 cards

  • thx it helped

  • what's the name of this song?

  • Adagio For Strings.

  • great tutorial man one of the best i've seen

  • i love ur tutorials! its a lot easier with less cards 2...

  • wow. nice video. simple. and i got it =D however, if i hadn't gotten it i would probably be criticizing your video and your teaching ability. you have skillz sir.

  • nice computer:p

  • yea i can do it almost perfectly but..my cards are not fairly new so they stick >_>

  • ye this iss easy i got in with my right hand right away :)

  • Oh master , I need your help ! WHen I do it ,7 or 8 cards always stay sticked togheter and its look ugly , is there a way to avoid this?

  • use newer cards

  • newer cards, they tend to not stick right away

  • its wierd i can do this trick better with my left hand but im not left handed, it seems harder with my right

  • Work on making them rounder.

    -Vince

  • I feel so stupid when ppl say it's easy when i cant do it.

  • you are a jedi master!

you just use the force for make this tricks!

    lol! you are very awsome

  • y m i like the wierdo here, i found two handed so much easier than this.... -.-

  • haha i love being ambidextrious, thanks for the tut, really helped.

  • Oh man, like the person before me, your one handed fans are really pretty. I've just picked up card manipulation, flourishing, whatever because I needed a hobby, but your videos are really helpful! I still need to work on the thumb fanning since it's uneven but it's a lot better than what I started with!

  • ur 1 handed fans are rly good, i should practice them

  • the best tutorial

  • got it just cant do my left wish i was ambidextrous.

  • sweet i learnd in 2 min!!

  • Awesome tutorial CardShark that was the first fan I learned. When your video was over i knew how to do it.But that was a long time ago. Thx CardShark. You rock.

  • That is the best tutorial about everything I've ever seen. Haaaaaa completelly 100% is clear now. Haha respect man. :) 5/5

  • woooow

i can't do the "two handed" fan but this one i can!!

    thats amazing!

  • awesome! check out my vids cardsharks!

  • hey whats up??

    hey man your good

i was wondering if you could post a tutorial on the butterfly cut, im having trouble with it.

    thank man

  • Awesome!..I could now do one hand fan with 2 hands..in just a few moments..:p I can even do more than just 180º fanning now..~beautiful~ thanks to your help!

  • I use my left hand and my fingers to the right this worked for me

  • omg i worked it out....

    FOR EVERYONE...

4 mins 20. and look at where u put ur thumb. on the corner of the cards, this tiny little detail did it for me. :D

    thanx cs88.

  • man now if only i could click my fingers

  • it's funny, i had a hard time doing it with just my middle and index finger but so i started using all of them when you said so on the video and it was a lot easier, but i had a hard time getting the last few cards spaced evenly, so i tried my middle and index finger again and it was almost near perfect XD, thanks to the great tutorial!

  • Good job on the tutorial

  • thanks dude i can see myself using this alot!

  • Wow...i like how you take so much time teaching things even if it's simple. Makes learning much easier. Thanks!

  • that slide ur thumb down each finger helped most

  • Love it Can do it now with about 20 cards :)

  • The best tip was the one with sliding which each finger, I got the idea then. off topic, the music is always great.

  • i got it! rock on. thanks man.

  • thanks. i almost can do it now. with some practice i'm sure it'll work soon. great video as always.

  • thanx 4 the tips

  • same here started with only a few cards, but its working best with fresh cards

  • I tried it. At first, I couldn't get all of them to fan evenly. Then i tried with only about 7 cards, found the correst grip, then added more. I eventually worked my way up to half the deck. Gonna keep trying, thx.

  • amazing tutorial. this is easier than the thumb fan and looks just as good

  • am good at it but my big bro cant seem to get it (does it matter if you use three fingers ,or can u gust use two)?

  • dis tutorial was amazing, got it within seconds

  • man, its like you read my mind i had some questions and later on inthe video you answer them great tutorial

  • im practising lol but it seems cant to get right the first card always got dragged vry awkward im not sure how to explain lolz but your tricks are cool

  • Ty so much i am trying to learn all ur tricks and make video from em =) some of your tricks are easy like this i learned it in 1 min =) but some of em is pretty hard practising make me as good as u are i hope :D

  • Brilliant Video! I learned in seconds. AS to the guy before me; Lukinhapenalva, I think its the deck. I might be wrong tho!

  • Man, i just didnt get it

When i try to fan, go lots of cards... not 1 by 1.. go 10 by 10 ;D

    ]halp!

  • awesome

  • I can use about 3/4 of the deck and fan pretty well, but when i try to use the whole pack i can't get enough spread to get the last 1/4 fanned.

    any tips?

  • This is freakin good!

  • You frickin ROCK! thanks so much.. could you also put some tutorials for tricks instead of just flourishes?

  • I had the same problem, my cards always spread in blocks try using new cards. They slide way better.

  • My cards are plastic and i can barely manage to get them spread out...a little easier in my left hand for some reason, but, they always seem to come out in blocks rather than seperately...Any tips?

  • Don't use plastic cards. They barely slide at all. Try bicycle cards, they have an "Air-Cushion finish." They slide very well. a new pack of those is the best thing to start with.

  • Try to get Bicycle cards, or get non plastic/smooth cards, it MUCH easier with Bicycle deck, if you cant, get smooth ones, kk Goodluck =P

  • woot i get it =P

  • whats tis song called??

  • I really love your tutorials cardshark! I could even pay for them ;)

    One question though:

When I´m using all the cards in this one handed fan it´s really hard to get thos last/first cards spread out, if you know what i mean.

Are there any tips for this or should I just repeat over and over?

    Thanks

  • dude you are awesome. ive seen tons of tutorials on this and you are the only one i understand.YOU KICK ASS!

  • I cant do it =( I hate me xD

  • Great but my cards aren't plastic (they are the crazy clarks ones) and they seem to cut in half everytime i do it.

  • Since I didn't really know before how you were doing this, I figured out my own way, and for me it works better and is a bit easier to control. I'm posting a video response to show how I do it.

You were the one who inspired me to do this, and as far as I'm concerned- I'm your apprentice. :) Thanks for the inspiration.

  • i dont know why but i find it easier to do a 1 handed fan

  • 1 Handed Fan is easier. Full Stop.

I Learnt this first. Then i did the thumb fans

    Dan

  • can you do this with plastic cards?

  • Not recommended. Though If you feel you have strong fingers.

    Go for it

    Dan
