It's easy. Berry ran off trying to find that family in the picture that came with his wallet. No just kidding. I see what you mean. RE5 destroyed RE if you ask me. And the messed up thing is that RE6 is going for a complete reboot of characters and gameplay. It's possible that eerie awesome vibes and characters we grew up with is done and over with because of two stupid mistakes. Quite possible we'll never find out.

No idea what happened to Sherry and Rebecca. I know in Resident Evil: Remake you can either save Rebecca or let her be killed by a Hunter; so maybe the big wigs at Capcom decided to kill her off?

Barry made is last appearence in Resident Evil 3. He was the one who flew Carlos and Jill to saftey just before Racoon City was wiped off the map.

I hope they use Sherry again though because they have a good story to work with.

well, the next CGI Resident Evil movie is supposed to have Rebecca as the female lead, and Sherry was kidnapped by umbrella and locked up somewhere, but we don't know anything else yet

That would be awesome. I always wondered what happened to her, especially since she wasn't around during everything happening in the 2nd and 3rd games. And then the games just shifted away from zombies.. so.. =/ Also since the time is like 16 years later now, they should bring Rebecca back with longer hair, (and make her stronger). I think she'd look awesome that way. :)

After the fall at the Spencer Estate, Jill was badly injured and Alfred rescued her and used her to his advantage.

In Resident Evil 3, Jill was infected with the T-Virus from Nemises; Carlos found Jill a cure but the cure only supressed the virus, causing it to lay dormant in her. Wesker used this to his advantage and that was the key to developing the Uroboros Project.

she barely survived the fall and wesker took her with him, so wesker decided to keep her alive, he expirimented on her and found a strain of the virus from when she fought we nemesis, so he abstracted the virus to find her body had made its own vacine against the virus so knowing that jills body could hold the virus, he attached a device which fed to her the same virus he was using and then kept her as his puppet to do his work. i cant garenty this is right, read the jill valentine file in game

Jill's too popular to die, Capcom knows better than to kill off popular characters, otherwise Leon would have died in Resident Evil: Code Veronica (from what I read, Leon was supposed to be in the game and get killed but his popularity caused him to be scrapped and replaced with another character).
