OMG! Used to take it for granted I could pass the big Deep V's with my twin outboard cat in decent conditions--140mph is faster than a lot of heavily powered big block cats run--impressive! Not a mono-hull guy, but if I were I would get a Fountain as they are the best looking ones with the legacy to go with them-

This may be a dumb question, but what are the two red lights over the steering wheel that make an alarm sound? Are those rev-limiter warnings? I've never owned a boat with 1075's, so it's a bit out of my leauge. Thanks.

yea I think its just warning that your pushing the engines and doing that for a long time will cause damage.

They are rev limiter alarms, but there is no damage being caused. These alarms are indicating the boat is underpropped and next time they'll probably put bigger wheels on the boat and gain another 4 or 5 mph. The fact they were hitting the limiters at 142 is a bragging right!!!
