Birdo's gender IS quite a pretty heated discussion. According to the game 'Captain Rainbow' (only for Japan), it proves that Birdo is a female... and it's quite perverted how you find out she's a girl (and it's supposed to be a kid's game?!), you need to find something... wait, nevermind, you need to keep your MKWii videos at least PG13! Oh yeah! Hyuk yuk! Anyways, I really think Birdo is a girl, I can't wait until you answer Michaele's question about Birdo! ;)

I played every Mario Kart games except for the handheld versions. Double Dash, I agree, was not great. The two players in a kart... nah! not a good idea. True, fun for a while. I still have the N64 and Mario Kart 64. I can't get myself to sell these games. I liked that some tracks in MK64, when tiny, you can't cross a gap. Like in Wario's Stadium and I think Peach Raceway(don't know actual name). What I dislike about MKWii is the huge advantage that bikes have over karts.
@CrashSteve Double Dash DID bring special items in though (for each character), which I actually thought was kind of cool...although, there are obvious cons to that: certain characters' specials may be more overpowered than others.
All in all, the Mario Kart series as a whole is great. And I still have my 64 as well, with MK64. I'm just like you, those are two things I wouldn't sell.

@DrKendo Well, I dislike what I call "naughty" races (with hackers) but I actually know a few hackers who are pretty awesome too and basically hack to STOP those other ones from ruining the game.... Or, as a friend of mine put it, "You don't hate hackers, Michaele.... you just hate some of the things they do!". True that! I actually have a few hackers on my roster but they are kind and respectful and wouldn't dream of being "naughty" in a race with me..... and I respect them for that as well!
