i know the speicial announcment for newark : this is a special announcment for security reasons plz keep your lkuggage and all packages with you at all times until they are chacked. unattanded backage will be removed immeadietly for inspection and mabye damaged or destroyed. for security reasons do not accept luggage or bags that do not belonge to you im very good

But most airlines will consider it to be in NY. When they refer the New York (all airports), they usually will include Newark. Or they will refer to it as New York (Newark). But yes, it is in Newark, New Jersey.

Not good I like Delta better they fly mostly 767. The seats in Continentals 757 are terriable compared to Delta. Also I like Atlanta better if have a connecting flight then Newark. But if going to N.Y I guess its much hassle to take Delta. Since Delta and Continental are in same price range on transatlantic I figure you get more for money with Delta. NB. I flew from Copenhagen.

I flew JFK to OTP (bucharest) with a delta 767-300er and what was terrible was there was no personal inflight entertainment. Other then that it was a comfotable aircraft. The killer thing was the redeye flight from JFK to LAX on my way back from bucharest that probably will stop me from purchasing this route again.

well Copenhagen - Atlanta theirs mini screen even in Coach where you can select varius tv- series movies which is free plus theirs pay per view HBO service too on Coach. The food is as good as can expect off a airmeal on coach. maybe they flew on a older model i think what I flew on is standard today on Delta but not sure though.

You probably got lucky and flew on a 767-400ER instead of the 767-300ER which delta uses for most of its transatlantic flights going to not extremely popular places.

well theirs always British Airways allthough if your travilling via Heatrow there is a great chance of losing your luggage. Almost all of them who went to viset my Parents in the States who went via Heatrow lost theirs luggages.

@anush10 if your in an economy seat on a 777 for 7 hours, or in an economy seat on a 757 for 7 hours, your still in an economy seat for 7 hours. It really doesnt matter what plane your on. its still 7 hours of being uncomfortable.

You're right. Liberty International is technically in New Jersey, but the airport is considered a New York area airport because of its vicinity to Manhattan. So even if the flight is from Newark to Lisbon, one can say it's a flight from New York to Lisbon. :-)
