How does yours run the game automatically? i get to the menu of when u can select your hoebrews and it says (corrupt or invalid PBP) and when i start the game it just reboots my PSP.

@museapex this is an old version that could only load the file "EBOOT.PBP" at the root of the memory stick. I believe this feature is still here, although the EBOOT.PBP has to be in hbl/GAME.

alternatively, you can put whatever game you want instead of the menu in hbl/menu

@TheForgottenClown a HEN requires a Kernel exploit. If we had a Kernel exploit, we wouldn't be working on a Homebrew Loader. Other teams might have access to Kernel exploits but I don't. If other people have a Kernel exploit, then maybe it can be accessed from the Patapon exploit but I can't guess.

@jpsallum There's lots of reasons for a homebrew to not work with HBL currently. Neither me nor m0skit0 said it was limited to "small" homebrews, although in theory, small homebrews have better chances to work because they have less risk of overwriting "important" parts of the Ram.

now im on OFW 6.20 (i dont want to use a pandoras battery not going to risk bricking my psp).

@xvp40virus : if you have a hackable motherboard, you should definitely get a pandoray battery, which is the safest way to hack your PSP nowadays. Of course if you have a psp3000 or a ta88v3, that's a different story.

Of course, a strong IT background is a plus, but I would suggest to start by coding homebrew games or utilities, which is the best way to get introduced to the PSPSDK. If your interest is mostly in exploiting PSP vulnerabilities, my blog (url in the video description) has a few introductory articles.

It would be pretty annoying to start up the eLoader, everytime for Homebrea, and the original Firmware for "real" PSP games.

OR is it possible to load up "official" EBOOTS from the store though the loader as well?

Keep up the work. I'm sure a lot of non greedy PSP users are grateful for your time. One question though (and note I know nothing about coding), is it possible to just port earlier eloaders and just get it to work on 6.20? What processes do you guys have to go through? I'm just curious is all.

earlier eLoaders were never made open source so we can't port them. loading a homebrew involves several steps such as: cleaning up the Ram (without removing essential bits), relocating the prx, figuring up missing syscalls and libraries, etc...most of it is made difficult with the lack of kernel access
