2007-11-21 lol friend just gave me his and i was hoping to get lucky. wonder how much they will charge to fix it being that the 360 is ony $100 right now. i cant see the justification in going out and buying a new unit when i just got this one for nothing (even though its broke) i have a ps3 and just built a new pc about 3 or 4 months ago so no need in spending extra $, but sure would like to have a 360 so i can rip games for it off torrents :P

the screw method is a lye you need the xclamps thats what keeps your mother board from flexing you just need to do a reflow and replace the thermal paste and put the xclamps backon the reason the red rings happens is from lack of cleaning your xbox and the cheap thermal paste
