Saxon Math at North Beach

Ok this is a parent review. I wanted to buy this Saxon math for my preschool age son but was not sure this has covinced me. a few things though: 1 she said congurent and sprial son many time , 2 Did they only have on African American child? Our school depend so much on parent supplimenting the learning that parent want to know how to help. I hope this wil help my child in his first few steps of learning.

Sweet, I grew up on Saxon Math! I was homeschooled and more or less could learn everything I needed just from the lessons in the book.

They need to teach that in Iowa instead of fuzzy math they're talking about teaching.

Really, they're teaching fuzzy math in Iowa now a days? Back when I was in elementary school (85-92) it was all still pretty much pencil and paper...

The Iowa Legislature is about to or already has passed legislation to standardize curriculum, the problem is they've latched on to some real social oriented junk. Iowa use to be number one in the nation and now we've dropped to about the middle, instead of using proven curriculum like Saxon math and phonics for reading they want to use the kids as lab rats.

Looks pretty good to me. I've only seen the middle school series and, it's mostly book/pencil/paper based.
