Porcupine Tree deserves to be more mainstream. Unfortunately mainstream audiences don't seem to appreciate this kind of insanely melancholy kind of style. For those who grasp it, which is anybody that tries, this song is simply haunting. The music is filled with despair and the lyrics so ominous that they perfectly combine to create a feeling few other bands can duplicate

Let's not forget that different spanish countries have or use different words to refer to a lay-by. By the same token, lay-by is not as widely use in the U.S as it is in Britain.

His name is John Wesley, he is considered part of the band, as live/touring guitarist, since the 2002 tour.
