I have always loved Hall and Oates as well as Inara's Daddy's group, Little Feat, so hearing her sing this is so nice. If you want to check out where her beautiful voice comes from, type in "Lowell George" on youtube and hear one of the most soulful voices of the 70s. Beautiful version of Kiss on my List. Hall wrote this with Janna Allen, his girlfriend Sara's sister, so it really has a woman's point of view.

They seem to be obsessed with females remaking male songs, another example being "Here Comes The Sun" (boy do they ever love that one), a few years back they had female versions of "Pride" by U2 (which basically turned it into a freaking Enya song), hell even Christmas music isn't safe, as there is now a female version of "Last Christmas".
