Tried any payload experiments with this one? I've always thought a Y6 was the best way to configure a multirotor for longer duration aerial photography. X8 perhaps is close but, with my setup anyway, you don't get much more thrust for the added amp-draw of the extra two motors.
Sure You can go to the link in the title and or call John who is the owner at 520-429-6493. I bought everything there. Just tell him you want the same setup as Tony. I own alot of multirotors and this is my fav so far.
Very Nice! This is THE multicopter that I am considering. Looks like it's going to be loads of fun aside from the aerial photography application this is made for. Consider me subscribed right after ths comment! :)
Ive been following you for a while. :) I purchased a x650 for aerial photogtaphy/video. I'd love to chat if there's a way to get in contact with you. p
It says Hexacopter cus it has 6 motors. Do a quick google search for Y6 hexacopter and you will see I am not the only one calling a Y6 a Y6 hexacopter

Is this with the Xaircraft flight controller and AHRS ?
I like the noise of your beast :-) Having a XA X450 and considering moving exactly to this RC Carbon Y6 frame...
How does it behave when flying in cruise mode ?

Tony are you posting about this on any of the forums? I have one on the way to replace my WOV Y6 700 and would like to talk more about your setup.

@chorianopoulos2002
A friend bought all the electronics parts for 900€...
That's a bit expensive.

I want to build the exact same thing. Can you direct me on how to purchase the entire parts list? Thanks.
