I know many may agree that it's peaceful and all, but I just can't sit down tight comfortably somehow. It's bit creepy in the front and the middle is very beautiful but it's sad & so many more emotions, and the the title of the song itself, "Witchcraft" doesn't really fit into place with this supposedly peaceful piece (to me). This song keeps me fidgeting in my seat with uncertainty. It's weird coz this song made doing stuff easy; I don't listen to this to sleep. Am I the only one here? :\

I LOVE this song. I also love how the piano sounds a little distorted - adds more creepiness to the song, and this version sounds a little different than the one in the actual game. I know this - while some of Daniel Licht's music for Silent Hill Downpour may sound similar to Akira's, the question is, can Daniel Licht also create mysterious ambient noises like Akira? That's one thing that remains to be seen, as I miss Akira's music in future Silent Hill installments. It's iconic and legendary.

This is one of the rare themes in Homecoming I like. This is the only soundtrack that I find to be the weakest in the series. Until they make 8 and somehow ruin it with the new person they got that did that show "Dexter" to replace Akira Yamaoka.

SH1: It's the Original. Of course you'll love it.

SH2: Great atmosphere, graphics, voice acting, story and enemies. Makes you want to play over and over and draws you in

SH3: Great selection of weapons and replay value. Good for beating the crap out of things :p And the costumes.

SH4: It's really big and open. Good story too

SH:H: It's a change. etc etc

SH:SM: A completely different thing, but enjoyable regardless

But they r redoing the voice acting for SH 2 and SH 3, so YAY. The stair case scene in SH 2 will be even sadder...

And it's not a nasty game. It's a disturbing game, which is largely due to this beautiful music, and (perhaps more relevant to the earlier games in the series) its use of intelligent symbolism. Though, from reading your comments, I'd be willing to bet that you didn't pay attention to any of that when you played it.

Everyone should look up Silent Hill - Lost Memories or Book of Memories, either or. It explains the origins of Silent Hill. The movie really should not be compared to the games because it doesn't really do justice for the real background.

The Lost Memories book contains explanations for everything(the symbolism of the monsters, the psyche of the characters, silent hill and how it became so dark) - Give that book a read. You will feel quite satisfied after reading it.
