I use a mid-priced acrylic paint brand Rheotech...but I tend to mix in the neon coloured paints with the other colours to give them a bit more punch.Also keeping 2-3 water containers --one for rinsing brushes, one just for mixing...I find if you use dirty or water that has alot of paint in it, it will muddy the results. I like to apply the paint with the clearest/cleanest water.

The 'illusion' of cleanliness.
The main areas were under control.
