The E30 is a fanstastic handling car. I have an 89 325is almost stock but with some performance upgrades like the ECU chip. I also went with the Signature Motoring performance intake for about $180. Adds around 9HP on the dyno, great sound, and the best performance upgrade for the money.
-Adds 9-11 HP
-Never replace filter again (K&N)
-GREAT SOUND
-Installs in maybe 30-45 min. K&N filter lasts a lifetime.
yey. love them e30's had several years back. just let me 36 m3 go. was going for 46 m3 as they are amazing,but after wathching this clip and others may just have to go old school m3 e30 !

I love my 325i. Only mod is a Signature Motoring performance intake kit. They run around $150 and add around 9hp in the six-cylinder E30s and a bit
less in the 318. That's the best value per HP gain... A good value for the extra oomph. General HP increases are shown:
E30 series: 6.0-13.4hp gain
E36 series: 5.5-12hp gain
E46 series: 6.0-13.9hp gain
E92 series: 8.5+ hp gain
Z3/Z4 (all): 5.5-13.9hp gain
