  • :D the Pillows!

  • 3:35

Alucard: Look we have founded a hidden save room.

    3:36

The Family Sword is so exited about that

  • This part of the game was meant to be removed from the American PS1 version of Castlevania SotN. It is in the Japanese version and the Japanese Sega Saturn Edition. It's a really area in the game, just a flaw in the way they removed parts from the US version.

  • @ZakkuZany As i, as well as many other people have said, "We know."

  • XD awesome Pillows song

  • does this count to complete the 200.6 % of the map?

  • @monfilars ...Why would they force you to do a glitch to get to a semi-removed area of the game to unlock an achievment?

  • @Kalmana i'm asking because i can't get the 200.6% i'm stuck at 200.4 % :(

  • @atl4sbe4r Yes, you can use this to get the last .2 percent

  • 3:02 LASER! :D

  • has anyone figured out how to get there in the Inverted castle??

  • duuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrr

  • I had no idea that was in the psx version but it was....how odd

  • holy crap it actually worked..and Im playing the japanese psx version...I saved in the save point down there too! xD wow that took awhile but it worked...holy mother of fuck

  • it's Underground Garden

  • I Like this song

  • @pizzacheez7 Ride on Shooting Star.

    FLCL FOREVER =D

  • damn this hard i cant do it! its so hard cause i cant press the button fast enough and i end up on the other side where the owl and the knight are

  • @deadlycreature101 Dont press the buttons "fast enough"

Having the duplicator and both hands with Heart Refreshes

(With 360 controls cause its just letters instead of shapes)

Hold down the X button. When the heart refresh symbol comes up, switch to and hold the B button.

When the symbol comes up again, go back to holding the X button. So on so forth

The hard part is timing and placing your jump properly.

  • It's not a hidden area. It was part of an area that was removed from the PS1 and 360 version.

  • @xlegionx but that area was hidden in the PS1 and 360 version. . . am i wrong?

Or can you just normally walk over there and get to it? Didn't think so.

    It's hidden.

  • that is so cool does it work on 360 anyway im gonna try it but i need enough cash to get duplicator also i dont mod or hack but somehow i got 3 heart refresh

  • @deadlycreature101 1) Yes it does

2)I believe that the HR is a random drop from someone.

  • that secret except for being able to save is on the hd version. i do beleive there is a chest down there in replace of the save. u just hafta break the floor away.

  • It is the remaining space of a deleted part of the game , precisely the underground garden , wich is playable in the saturn version of the game.

  • thank u for posting this video. it helped me finally get the seeker achievement which i couldnt before for sum reason even tho my maps matched those i found online perfectly . i felt like i would have to start all over cuz maybe it had glitched or sumthing but this glitch made it so i didnt have to so thanx man.

  • I've tried a lot of times and i dont understand why always alucard pass through the door. Might in a psp doesn't work?...:S

  • I end my game on 200.3 % and I never found that a lot heart restores !! wtf ?

  • @KonopKg you need to buy the duplicator ir duplicates items [usables only] not duplicates x2 it gives you infinite items, there is a glitch for unlimited money so you can buy it

  • what song is this from? I've heard it before

  • @mrrondon101 Watch the end of the video to find out

  • @mrrondon101 FLCL Fooly Cooly

  • why would you use that theme?

  • This finally unlocked that annoying Seeker achievement, thank you so much for showing me how to do this glitch to add .2% to my map :D

  • damn someones a pro :D goodjob

  • Dude that's pretty cool :D

  • interesting, did not know that area

  • killer tune! i larv das pillows!

  • fail

  • @Marzz5585 Fail to what?

  • @Kalmana :D yey!

  • @Kalmana your face is fail!

  • @Marzz5585 Congratulations on being able to insult someone on a 3rd grade level. You should feel so proud of yourself.

  • @Kalmana lol, you get so worked up don't you, well anyways thanks for the CSOTN tips, right now im trying to get the Rings of Varda from those Palypholathrapist guys

  • @Kalmana

    OMG!!!!

    Figth Figth Figth!!!!

    50$ tO KALMANA!!!

  • video is good but music is bad. Castlevania's ost is much better.

  • Can you glitch yourself into the Cursed prison??

  • @Theshark15z that would be something to look into

  • I just have one very important question, does this work on the PSP version?( you know unlockable SOTN in Dracula X Chronicles)

  • muchas gracias por el tip ya logre hacer mi logro muy buen aporte ^^ arigatou gozaimasu!!!!!!!!!!

  • This means... that the added content were in fact there all the time. At least in this version.... we WERE screwed! Anyways, whenever I get the duplicator, I will try this out... loved to get under that when I found out it was in a later version anyways. Cool secret and odd at the same time. =)

  • OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO,MYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY,GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!

HOW I CAN ENTER IN THAT TRAPDOOR???

  • @HunterWolfDark You can't.

  • @Kalmana waih not???,moron

  • @HunterWolfDark Well, if I'm such a moron why dont you figure it out yourself.

  • Without using any kind of flying-out glitches, you are supposed to reach 200.6% for map coverage only. 100.0% for the original castle, and 100.6% for the flipped one.

  • @xxxMisterBxxx I'm stuck on 200.5%. It sucks so much! I can't find the 1 place or whatever I've not gotten yet. Do you know if this glitch gives map coverage?

  • What I really wonder is what kind of people come up with stuff like this. I know it's a great game, but do you have to spend your life, waste your youth trying to find new glitches and bugs, or perhaps more map coverage.

  • @jouluturkki I wonder what kind of people just assume that people spent hours trying to figure stuff out like this when really they watched a crappy version of the same thing and thought that they should just make a good video.

  • @Kalmana Perhaps the person who did this particular video didn't spend hours, but someone initially has figured these things out, so at least they must have spent.

  • @jouluturkki That's like saying you shouldn't read your favorite book more than once because it will never help you become an author.

  • Comment removed

  • @jouluturkki So, in other words we should forget nostalgic games of our past? We shouldn't be allowed to get more out of the game?

Ok, how about you never read books that are more than 4 years old, because y'know. . . You should move on from the old books and learn newer things. Or, for that matter, never listen to old music. Just stick with newer stuff. . . Like Justin Beiber.

  • @Kalmana No. There's a difference in wanting to play old games repeatedly, and scavenging them to the bone. Wandering aimlessly around and seeking for things that were not even intended to be a part of the game. And where does that "4 years old" come from? This game was released in 1997, but that's beside the point. I still do enjoy playing it from time to time. Playing, not trying get myself go through walls.

  • @jouluturkki Congratulations, you pretty much just said that every single glitcher on this website are idiots.

For one thing, we enjoy finding things that was removed from the game because we want to see everything. I enjoy glitching some games, because sometimes the glitches are better than the game itself (Halo 2). Outside of the maps you can find hidden items, hidden rooms, hidden NPCs, debug areas, easter eggs etc.

  • @jouluturkki As for this example, I wanted to get to an area that was removed from the PSX version but was left in the the Sega Saturn version for no apparent reason. And heres something; If you don't care about glitchers to the point where you make fun of them . . .Why did you even bother clicking on this video?

Wait, I know the reason. You're just a troll.

    Go fuck yourself.

  • does this work on the ps1 version... im stuck at 200.3 % finished

  • PLease message back-that music (after the japanese song thing) is from the final fantasy 10 game for ps2! I am right aren't I? I know I am right! Please answer me lol!

  • @TheUpperClan How about no. There is a very simple way to see the music that i put in.

  • GameShark i guess

  • @Nirvana311 What? It helps if you actually reply to the post you are trying to talk about.

  • @Kalmana Whatever, nice video, by the way, Just now, im playing Castlevania, what % should i have before play the other part of the castle?, I mean, now I have 101.93%, I've already kill Richter, (or the ghost controling him) And i've just started the mirror castle, its ok or is there something that i must do? whats is the full %?

  • @Nirvana311 I dont know what percentage you should have. I've always just played through the game then went back for extra rooms. IF you want to know, look at gamefaqs or something.

  • Comment removed

  • lol =O

  • Dude is this possible for the inverted castle?

  • how do you get that sword?

  • @ScorpioX19 I picked it up

  • @ScorpioX19 Once the sword familiar passes level 50 it changes to that sword, you can also use it as a weapon from your inventory at that point.

  • i dont get it why you do its so hard way theres like 3 diffrent easier ways to get there :/

  • @darwehewuli Because this was the only way i knew at the time.

  • there's a teleport trick or bug so far I'm the only one who did it(that I've seen)

u go to the 1st castle teleport use a library card then use the portal to go to 2nd castle

somehow I went to the 2 castle but the map was reset, all black finished it again, got like 300.6% or more on the save guess i took a picture is gonna be hard to find but i can show u guys i wish i had the save copied to my ps2 memcard =/ I'll look out for the pic..

  • thx bud couldnt be bvotheredlooking for the last spot i was missing

  • Hey awesome, thats the theme song from Fooly Cooly! n_n

  • do you have to do this in the 360 arcade version to get 200.6% completion?

  • @KStewESC Of course not. Why would they make you do a glitch to get 200.6% completion?

There are certain places where you have to do certain things to unlock another pathway. Like flying through the small tunnel of rocks at the beginning as a bat, then going through the other side as a wolf.

  • Damn great song choice!

  • so that's whats down there....

  • good song choice

  • Obviously its NOT a Fake. Usually you where able to go in there anyway but sadly they removed it so you can just reach it by Glitching.

  • O lol FLCL, Ride on shooting star just made it xD

  • I spent like, an hour trying to do this trick. Obviously I'm doing something wrong. I don't know if it works on the ps1 american version or not. But every time I get Alucard as far off screen as you do, while doing the heart refreshers, he still ends up outside the castle in a split second before I get the chance to activate the heart refresher again. Does the heart refreshers have to be timed between turns? I just keep hitting both buttons over and over, but it's still not working. v_v

  • @Jamintog It should work on the PS1 version, as the version i was doing it on is a port of the PS1 version (360).

What you should try doing is holding down the opposite heart refresh button while the other one is working. Ex. press A to use HR1. When HR1 is going, hold down B. When HR2 is going hold down A.

  • i almost made it you know?... this works on u.s version too

  • im so trying this

...right after i play some final fantasy 10 :p

  • Why does the song remind me of the part on FFX where you are taking Yuna to the snowy temple place? (Sry I completely forgot the name of it)

  • @zagorith14

    isn't it from FLCL?

    (this song, that is)

  • @Rikarikun yep

  • Hey thanks man!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ahaha havent even started watching yet n ur lil bullitens are epic *claps*

  • you can go there with a modded game save

    yeeah and i got it

  • cool but kinda pointless... oh well more map %%%

  • I'm still wondering: why did they dummy out the area? And what was the original purpose of that vertical corridor anyway? We all know it leads to another area in the Saturn port, but still that doesn't explain what >>IGA<< wanted to do with it. Maybe it was originally some sort of connection with a long Mermen+Fishmen corridor like in Rondo?

  • Truly bizarre isn't it?

  • I like the song from Final Fantasy in the end

  • This is going to sound really stupid but, what game is the final song from again? My quess is FF10 if i'm correct. If not that game is still pretty beast. Great video, please keep it up.

  • so how many heart refreshers do you need?

  • @Kalmana but with the ducplicator that does'n matter, the duplicator is the best magic item in the game¡¡¡ :D

  • @WyldeSlashHammet93 Two, one in each hand, and you equip the duplicator

  • Nice video! Those gliches may be because of the other version difrences! Who knows anyway.Im not comlaining for anything i have do my math and i know that japanese have they'r own versions to play!

  • hey i just wanted to make sure you know this is from another version and it's not just in this one.

  • @MemShippou Are you purposely being stupid to annoy me?

  • That is where the UNDERGROUND GARDENS are supposed to be.

  • @aimebob Thank you for telling me something that everyone else feels like they need to tell me even though i keep telling them that i know.

Once again, thanks for old information.

  • @Kalmana relax I didn't know that you're bothered by this.

  • @aimebob Think of it like this; 1 friend tells you that you need to go somewhere. Then another friend tells you that you need to go to the same place 5 minutes later. Then another, then another, then another, then 200 more.

  • Also, real important question, I noticed an item called "Duplicator" where do you get that? I've already played through the game, the bad ending,a nd the inverted castle, and I'm level 60 and combed through the castle with only one Relic missing can anybody fill me in here?

  • @OmegaXIII you buy it from the librarian in the second game. you gotta have clear in your file i think

  • Skipping ahead was tempting, but listening to the music from FLCL beat down the manatnous. LOL Fuck the haters, a lot of these punk ass morons who say FAKE AND GAY don't know what a real fucking GLITCH is. These 2D side scrollers made you THINK and problems solve on how to out-smart the game. These dumb fucks don't know what "fake" is, they're just punks man, fuck 'em all. I'm with ya on this one man!!!

  • awesome!!! thank you!!! i will go try it now!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Ty for posting a video example of this, I get tired of trying to explain to my friends how to execute it. ^_^

  • great soundtrack, FLCL.

and wow i never knew about this

  • wow i had a dream the other day that there was a passage under the castle go figure

  • Pillows FTW >_>

  • Thanks bro for the video, i just try it in my PSP version and works!, i must to say its sadly that level are not available in the PSX & XBOX 360 versions neither in the bonus game of SOTN of Castlevania X Chronicles of PSP...

  • @leonardito But the glitch still works for the PSP version?

  • @Kalmana yes still works!

  • This feature is available in PS version of the game, I did this myself thousand times, and I even acessed outter parts of the castle by doing this trick

  • actually i heard you can access it in the way start of the game by back dashing before the door closes. although i've never been able to do that, cause i keep forgetting about that room.

  • @mrsodenkirk Na, i tried it and you can't really go anywhere. All that happens is that you can run backwards through the scene where Alucard runs into the castle. Then when you get back far enough, the scene will play again, but he'll just jump into the closed gate.

  • no mames la rola esta de huevos...ya la haba escuchado, sale en un anime llamado FLCL la conociste ahi????

    RIFADOOOO

  • is this xbox 360?

  • SOTTN Right?

  • @HylianGirl1

its just sotn, 1 t only

  • @f8talh8red The video title was written wrong.

  • @HylianGirl1 Yeah i know, but it was a little too late for me to edit it.

  • why is it so hard to beleive that this is real, its a game, if you've ever designed or worked on a game you'd know that a save point was put close to the beginning so that the creators didnt have to go through the entire introduction just to test sothing out.

I think its cool, they even sealed off the entry with no way inside

  • @masterkuros While that is true that some designers would do that. But there was going to be another area attached to that save point called the hidden garden or something like that. Apparently there just wasn't enough time or something so they removed it. Just as they removed Maria as a playable character from the game.

  • @Kalmana they added it in the sega saturn version>...>

  • @Kalmana Both of those features and even another additional level are available in the Saturn edition but aren't present on the PlayStation disc.

  • @12science21 I'm already aware of that. However, the area was removed from the PSX & 360 version. Thus it is a hidden save point. get it?

  • @Kalmana wasnt really removed.. the area wasnt finished for those two versions didnt finish it intime for the american release.

  • @archangel670 Thus is was removed.

  • @Kalmana It wasn't removed, it just wasn't added until the sega version.

  • @MultiProNoob *slams head on desk* I know.

Geez, do i have to put another full screen + pause comment to say that i know?

  • @Kalmana I'm sorry, but you comment says that it was removed. Something can't be removed unless it was there before, which it never was. That is what I meant.

  • I am throughly impressed with your witty banter Kalmana....what is your learning disability called?

  • @tinmachine27 It's called being right.

  • i can play to the entire zone in the sega saturn emulator :P

  • What an idiots. Its NOT a hiden Save point. That suppose to be an area called "Underground Garden". But it was not included id PS1 wersion of game and that Tunnel is all what was left. Its even not a secret.

  • @SandroUNDEAD

For one thing: if your going to call someone an idiot, why did you add the 's' at the end as if i was more than one person? Fail.

2)You even said that it was not in the PS1 version, thus HIDDEN from the main portion of the game. Tell me something, if you dont think that's hidden, what would you call it then?

3)Apparently it is a secret to people who dont know of it's existence. If I asked random people on XBL about it, they would think it's a hack. Look at the comments on here.

  • Ive been in there without the glitch

  • does the psx version have this glitch

  • the japanese version actually has that area.. for those that didnt know, now you know

  • Isn't there a way to get to that spot without a glitch, i've seen it in another video. but, the way they did it (turning into the door right after you enter the gate) I don't see how you could get out.

  • men is very good the song is of FLCL or some thing like that really can yoyu help me to search that anime on sub espanish plis men because im mexican jajaja thx

    ATTE:MARCO POLO

  • @difjsohf

Sorry, but since i only speak English i only search for sites that have English subtitles. You can probably search for "FLCL Spanish subs" or something like that and get something.

  • what level is your sword?

  • Does it matter?

  • yeah, because it looks very cool

  • @Kalmana It matters to HIM asshole!

  • When I learned about this glitch and did it (its not easy, or quick lol) it was awesome to see alternate and unfinished graphics.

Its kind of cool that the game is unfinished and rushed or we wouldn't have had glitches like this.

  • Hey mate, thanks for the vid, did you know that in the japanese version for psx in that place it starts another room as big as catacombs? Fucking hell konami only makes cool things for the japanese

  • Cool thing and i did as you did but on the ps1 version.

  • how do i save my data in this game?

  • If you can't figure that out, you should go back to Wii sports

  • ............what?

  • If you can't figure out something as basic as saving your game in this game, you obviously can only play games where the most advanced thing you have to do is flail your arms around like a retard.

  • ok so let me get this straight.

if i cant find the save rooms in a game i've never played before on a system that is like 30 years old. then i need to go back to a more advanced system with more complex game mechanics that require action and movement, rather than just sitting and button mashing?

  • Yeah. . . It actually takes a good amount of skill to do the "button mashing" in this game. Not only do you have to do pixel perfect jumps at times, but you have to do a good amount of puzzle solving.

Lets also not forget that the system is not 30 years old.

Finally, why the hell are you asking "how to save" in a game that you have never played before and probably wont play. Then again, why the hell do you think it's a good idea to ask that in a video about a glitch in the game?

  • I dont enjoy dealing with ignorant idiots who deserve to die in a fire either while watching your friends and family slowly be chopped into little pieces so you can watch all life drain from their eyes. Knowing that the only reason why they are being killed, is because of you.

    :)

BTW, im not black. Just a guy tired of answering stupid questions by people who need to be killed for the sake of Darwinism.

  • @Kalmana

    hahahaha +1

  • fully agreed

  • at least wii sports saves automatically

  • for good is that? just... want to know

  • The female angels are too sexy.

    XD

    I watched all video

    O_ou
