this guy gave it a fare review guys, he shared his opinion in the nicsest way possible and it takes alot to do tht belive it or not, knowing he doesnt appeal to this game very well, he was able to deliver all the good aspects of the game and i think thts good enough for me. we all have our diff opinions, so i might try it out and judge for it myself, good review bro

You guys should check out Accleration of SUGURI or Acceleration of SUGURI 2 on PC (Acceleration of SUGURI 1 is also localized by Rockin' Android for PC and PS3), it's pretty much Senko no Ronde meet's lots of flying and dashing with bullet hell.

I've never heard of this game before now, but it sort of reminds me of the Suguri series. Looks a lot more complex, unique, and fun than Suguri, though.

Off the top of my head, I remember Derek had VERY positive reviews of Klonoa and Klonoa 2 for PSX and PS2, and he's reviewed a shit ton of TERRIBLE games on the Wii.

The most disturbing thing about this game to me is the character Cuilan, A member of a rounder team known as G.S.O, He works with Changpo and is treated like a younger brother, despite Looking very much like a young girl.

I love anime to death but sometimes they have things that make me wonder...of course, that's just me and just my personal thoughts.

It's not a convoluted mess at all, once you figure it out. Senko no Ronde is actually a very strategic game, despite its frantic looks. You have to carefully balance offense and defense, since advanced options on each side of the coin eat off the same meter (defend too much and you have nothing left to launch attacks with - attack too much and you're a sitting duck) and knowing when to use your 2 trump cards (B.O.S.S. mode).

I am glad someone else noticed the glaring faults with this review. No offense Derrek but as another commenter noted this game relies heavily on strategy above everything else. For your interest, there is a site dedicated only to the strategy element of this game. The fact that this game didn't get any attention was one of the reasons that I managed to pick this title up for a measly 3 bucks! And boy am I glad that I have this game in my collection especially in BOSS MODE! Hehehe!

The game actually makes a lot of sense (story-wise). Which is so sad that this game didn't get the attention it deserved.

We're still hoping that the sequel get's here.

By the way, the word "Ronde" is based off of the French word, so the "e" is silent.

Just a future reference when someone walks up to you and say, "so, did you like SENKO NO RONDEEEEEEEEEE?"

I own this game. Its short but still a refreshing take on the the vertical shooter. Quite expensive on ebay, but a nice addition to a game collection, not addictive enough to avoid collecting dust.
