If the Obamas are lauded as the BEST that an Ivy Leaugue education and a privileged life can produce in a black presidential family then I demand a refund in all the tax money that was extorted out of me for all the Affirmative Action handouts over the past two decades. Magna cum Laude? More like Magna cum Lousy, in my opinion. They are unsubstantial and lightweight, with an over-inflated self-image. AA is an outgrowth of white liberal guilt that has long since proven itself misguided and without merit. It has only reverse discriminated against those who do not possess a particular skin color. Even those who have recently emigrated to the US and who

are members of non-white minorities derive benefits from AA. That makes absolutely the least sense of all and henceforth AA should be rendered extinct once and for all.

A level playing field means just that. Every applicant must be judged solely on their accomplishments and nothing more. Race-based distinctions merely legitimize the notion that non-whites are inferior in their abilities by comparison. Social history has absolutely nothing to do with God-given skills whatsoever. Anyone who claims otherwise is a fool and a liar as there is no unbiased empirical evidence to prove otherwise.

You miss the point entirely. I'll wager that at least twenty better qualified whites were passed over in each of her circumstances in order to make a place for her. Even if she was a complete fuck-up, there is no way these places would have held ger feet to the fire as it would have been an embaeassment to and undermined their very cause of asvancing underrepresented minorities at all costs in all aspects of American life. This woman is the best example of the consequences of affirmative action. She is just an avergage person that, due to her skin color, was given extraordinary opportunities that were wholly undeserved. There is absolutely nothing special about her that granted her an Ivy League education and a six-figure salary.
